Everything was great, nice amenities and super easy to use all the recreation. Only downside was there were so many sites back to back and the dumpster was always overflowing everyday

Site was ok nothing spectacular. The main upper pad sites around the pool area really needs to regraded also the roads lots of gravel should be added. Most were flooded after a rain. Some people could not even step out of there RV’s Very muddy and lots of standing water

You have terrific staff. The camp ground is kept very tidy. The men's washroom had a couple of incidents; garbage can over flowing, clogged toilet, no paper towels. This is a large KOA and I am sure it is difficult to stay on top of everything. Some campers are slobs. Anyways, you have a terrific camp ground with great employees.

Everything at the campground was great, the only issues we had was the loud car noise from races for hours on Friday night and how fast people drive especially coming in the main entrance and kids are in that area a lot.

Excellent stay from arrival to check out! Fabulous staff and accommodations. I’m spoiled now after staying in Rapid City! I was so impressed with this KOA location I purchased the annual rewards program. Wish ALL of the KOAs operated to this standard! Gold star and bravo to the management and staff at this location!

Web site states there is a sauna as part of the amenities. But there isn’t one. Please fix amenities list on website.

Place was ok. We paid for the premium and we didn’t have any shade or any kind of trees around. Is not bad for one night stay. Every single KOA we have stay has military discount except for this one.

The campground is nice. The staff is pleasant. My only complaint is the lack of hot water in the showers. They could definitely turn the temperature up.

We were just there for the night. We arrived very late. The grounds are rustic. We didn't use the facilities because we left early the next day. Glad we reserved a spot. This one is on the way to the Mount Rushmore.

Poor check in service. I arrived at 12:50pm and made to stand and wait ten minutes to check in when no one else in line. Park half empty. You can keep your snotty rules. It’s not like we arrived 2 hours early. Grass completely dead at our site, dried mud only. No shade. You need new patio tables. This place is sad compared to all the other KOA’s we stay in coast to coast. Won’t be back !

We had a great experience staying here. Our hosts were fabulous people. The weather turned quite chilly at night but overall it was great a time, we will be back.

The customer service was fantastic the people that checked me in were very friendly and it was very smooth however the campsites are too close together campsite 97 should not be considered one, when you open your car door to get out you're in the next person's campsite literally in their bonfire there is no grass area to set up a tent when the other ones on the opposite side have a tent. We left.

Campground is very spacious, extremely well maintained, and quite welcoming! Lots of great amenities for the kids and families. Best KOA we have ever camped at!

Friendly welcome; busy place, clean bathrooms and showers, even just before pool closing. Pool and hot tub were very nice. I wish the pool and hot tub was open later.

Very nice campsite and great amenities. Morning breakfast was great, bathrooms clean, pool and picnic area was excellent. Games & playground & activities was wonderful. Prices on the store items seemed to be a bit excessive compared to what you would pay at nearby stores, if prices were lower they would sell more items.

Well organized huge campground with good amenities. Nice pool! Compared to other KOA campgrounds it didn’t feel as welcoming and staff was very businesslike. It just didn’t feel as warm and quite as “family” as in the campgrounds I have been before. And for me this is the most important reason for camping!

This was the first KOA to ever charge me $15 for a 25 min early check-in, and $2 per dog.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Rapid City KOA. It was a little crowded in the tent area, but we had great neighbors. Staff was incredibly helpful and kind and the location is superb. Thanks for a great stay!

Good location to activities in the Black Hills. Very nice pool and hot tub. Our space was very convenient to laundry and showers. With our 3 teenage grandchildren traveling with us that was very convenient.

Very relaxing. As being a senior citizen, just camping as a couple, it did my heart good to see so much activities that were available to families. The nightly activities (train rides, watermelon & ice cream socials, and were well attended. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Very friendly staff answered any & all questions we had. Very nice and clean restrooms. Enjoyed our time there.

Tight spot for 36 foot 5th wheel with 3 slides. Tree right up against bedroom slide. might be a good site for a patio as it gets really muddy right outside the front door and sitting area when it rains.

I really liked our stay here. The KOA is conveniently located to Rapid City downtown, Mount Rushmore, etc. Our site was long with concrete pad, tables/chairs, and grass! Probably one of the best sites we have had as we didn't have neighbors on one side which meant more grass! Very conveniently located. Friendly staff. Laundry on site is convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

Great place, friendly staff, clean bath and laundry. Great sites for all. Good level spots. Close to all the Black Hills National Forest has to offer. Central to Badlands, Spearfish Canyon and Devils Tower. Cabins, cottages, tent sites, and a nice new pool area. 2 laundry facilities and 3 shower houses. Always clean.
