Nice enough campground, not much for shade. In a good location.Showers were very small and pool was very cloudy. The games room was not air conditioned and was mostly arcade claw machines.

People with campers are probably fine but the sleeper cabin was not great. The “beds” were pathetic and in no way should pass as beds for grown adults. I came home in excruciating back pain after a few nights. The bathrooms/showers were dirty/not ventilated. The pool is not kept up well or checked daily. There were three dead mice in the filter mid day, wasn’t closed to be cleaned during/aft

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. Were told to bring linens and bath,pool towels. We had no blankets, hand towels, pillows! I even emailed before asking what we would need to bring. Would have been nice to know. Other than that, it was great! Cabin was comfortable and cool!

Friendly staff, clean facilities, awesome pool/hot tub, and as always WONDERFUL pancakes at breakfast! I do wish that the shower rooms were just a little bit bigger. But I'm thankful for the shower and to not run out of hot water.

Great centralized location to visit the many sites surrounding the Rapid City area. The daily breakfast offering is a special touch… would highly recommend KOA Rapid City !!!

KOA's breaker tripped within 5 minutes of plugging in. Went to the office, told her my lot number and she said "not again" and called maint. 5 breaker trips later in an hour I asked for a refund and was told I was past the 1 hour limit and she blamed my camper. Went to another campground and everything worked. Called again for a refund and was told she wouldn't talk to me again and she hung up.

People at the front desk were always friendly, the cabin was clean as were the washrooms and showers. I would stay here again.

We were pleased with the service there to include the pancake breakfasts each morning and the ice cream social and the watermelon feed in the evenings. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the laundry facilities worked and the area was always clean.

Very nice campground! Spacious campsite and clean facilities. Conveniently located close to Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park and the Badlands. Nice pool and breakfast available in the morning! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Such a great place. They found me a spot last minute when I cancelled Palmers Gulch (who say spotty wifi truth is no wifi or cell service and I really wasn't looking for that adult summer camp experience) Anyway Rapid City is unbelievably clean, beautiful view over the city, very attentive sent 3 guys over to help me reset a fuse. Just a great KOA nice people and near everything. And great wifi.

Stayed in a pull thru site, the site was nice & long enough for our 38ft. Motor home & car. It was very quiet & well maintained. Will stay there again in future.

Great KOA and great staff. Everyone was really great. I had equipment failure that I discovered when arriving, The staff were very understanding and helpful. They were able to provide me with the name of a repairman who was able to get me back on the road the next day. Thank You Rapid City KOA.

Very nice campground, friendly staff and grounds and facilities nice and clean. Close to interstate easy in and out. Priced for the average camper. Would stay again.

Everything was really good. Only 2 things; hot tub needed to be shocked and cleaned. Scum on walls, water green and suds. Not allowed to put mats down but our site had virtually no grass by door; would like to have put partial mat down to keep from bringing mud in after thunder showers

We were put in a spot that did not suit us. When we asked to move, there were many empty spots we were told NO. Very poor customer service.

We reserved online and then needed to modify our reservation. The lady who helped us was friendly and professional. Check in was quick and easy. Our site was great. The campground was clean and organized. Everyone we met was super friendly!

Great stay overall. Staff was friendly, cabin had heat and AC, cabins were private and campground was quiet. Cute playground and large dog area and pool. No soap in the bathroom, but the bathroom was clean. Individual shower stalls were appreciated.

I really liked our stay here. The KOA is conveniently located to Rapid City downtown, Mount Rushmore, etc. Our site was long with concrete pad, tables/chairs, and grass! Probably one of the best sites we have had as we didn't have neighbors on one side which meant more grass! Very conveniently located. Friendly staff. Laundry on site is convenient. I will definitely stay here again.
