I very much liked the deluxe cabin, but with no linens/towels provided, it was not exactly "deluxe". With only 2 of these cabins at your KOA, can't you at least provide kitchen towels? We did not really mind the lack of bedding, but the sofa bed was just a bare mattress. A bottom sheet would have been nice. No bathmat meant water all over the floor, since we only brought one towel each.

Very clean and easy to navigate. Bathroom didn’t meet my cleanliness expectations. Very comfy stay. Queen bed was squeaky. Spendy firewood but overall a great place!

We paid a fortune to get the nicest patio site but it was weedy and uninviting. It was also difficult for a big rig to get into and out of the area.

We have stayed here for the past three years and have had different experiences each time. First time was during covid and nothing was open. Second time was the best with the new pool. This past time was just okay. People in the office weren't overly friendly or helpful, pool water could have been a lot clearer, and people would not stop walking through our site. Wish it would have been better.

This my favorite KOA. It is soo well run and maintained. Great pull thru sites, pool is great, laundry is clean and like new, and my favorite is daily breakfast pancakes eggs bacon orange juice. All well don, great job rapid city KOA

The guy parked next to us obviously lives there as the ground was covered in beer caps and the fire pit was loaded with cigarette butts. The bathrooms and showers are super small. Other than this it was a pleasant stay and I was able to sleep thru he night.

All the xtras are awesome. Ice cream, pancakes, train rides. Park cleanliness is outstanding, just need some upgrade to the showers.

Rapid City KOA is a very clean campground. The staff gave us a warm greeting, taking us to our assigned lot. The campsite was level and easily accommodated our 5th wheel. They have a nightly watermelon get together for the campers that was well received.

We loved the cabins, the pool and the pancake breakfast! We stayed 2 days. However, we did NOT like the fact that when my husband left his wallet at the campground that we could get NO response from the front desk nor the "emergency" manager's phone when we left 4 messages. Really? You couldn't call back and tell us that if someone turned in the wallet, you would be aware?

Poor Management and Maintenance! 4 dead mice in pool filters along with candy wrappers and clogged with other debris. Garage overflowing and bags being left next to dumpster. Talked with manager who stared blankly and didn't even get up from her desk to act on issues. Do not stay here!

Cleanliness and friendliness are so important and this this gave them a top rating. We also enjoyed the great gift shop and all you can eat pancake breakfast. Very easy access to the interstate as well

Great staff, clean pool and hot tub, shower house was smelly, pull through sites are nice but not a fan of watching the neighbors drain pipe next to my table every flush

The reason that I am giving this KOA a 4 this time, is because we were in a cabin, and in the cabin next to us, there were people with 4 kids. They allowed their kids to ride their bikes & play on our site. They also let their kids ride their bikes into the pavilion when people were eating. They also broke the hydrangea bush in front of our cabin. However, the staff were friendly.

Very smooth check-in process. Clean bathrooms & laundry facilities. Breakfast was delicious and affordable. Nice areas to walk our dog. Overall a positive experience. If we come back to the area, would definitely stay here again,

This campground does a great job for a busy National Park area. The staff is helpful; the campground clean and well maintained; and it was quiet during quiet hours :) Our only hesitation in recommending or returning would be the cost. Otherwise, it's a great campground!

Great park. Easy access and staff were friendly. Pool was great. Only thing I would recommend are additional washers and dryers by the pool (5 washers but only 3 dryers) for such a large park.

Very nice quiet clean campground. Facilities were excellent - plenty of dumpsters, bathrooms, loved the all you can eat pancake breakfast. Staff upon checking into the campground was very helpful about all tourist places to visit and restaurant recommendations.

Facility was clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful. We were accidentally charged for early arrival (clearly we were not early), but the mistake was promptly corrected as soon as I noticed it. The sites were a bit difficult as they were short. Folks across from us had to drive well into our site, narrowly avoiding our steps in order to exit. They needed three spotters.That's just too close.

Nice enough campground, not much for shade. In a good location.Showers were very small and pool was very cloudy. The games room was not air conditioned and was mostly arcade claw machines.

People with campers are probably fine but the sleeper cabin was not great. The “beds” were pathetic and in no way should pass as beds for grown adults. I came home in excruciating back pain after a few nights. The bathrooms/showers were dirty/not ventilated. The pool is not kept up well or checked daily. There were three dead mice in the filter mid day, wasn’t closed to be cleaned during/aft

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. Were told to bring linens and bath,pool towels. We had no blankets, hand towels, pillows! I even emailed before asking what we would need to bring. Would have been nice to know. Other than that, it was great! Cabin was comfortable and cool!

Friendly staff, clean facilities, awesome pool/hot tub, and as always WONDERFUL pancakes at breakfast! I do wish that the shower rooms were just a little bit bigger. But I'm thankful for the shower and to not run out of hot water.

I really liked our stay here. The KOA is conveniently located to Rapid City downtown, Mount Rushmore, etc. Our site was long with concrete pad, tables/chairs, and grass! Probably one of the best sites we have had as we didn't have neighbors on one side which meant more grass! Very conveniently located. Friendly staff. Laundry on site is convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

Great place, friendly staff, clean bath and laundry. Great sites for all. Good level spots. Close to all the Black Hills National Forest has to offer. Central to Badlands, Spearfish Canyon and Devils Tower. Cabins, cottages, tent sites, and a nice new pool area. 2 laundry facilities and 3 shower houses. Always clean.
