No privacy in my site (no trees or land buffer).. I had a tent and my neighbors were in a trailer that had a dog on a leash who was able to get into my site and approach me while setting up. Also the lights from the pool area were blinding all night long.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The site you occupied has trees to the right and behind the site. If there was an issue with your neighbor nothing was ever said to our staff. Lights need to be on at night so that guests can see when walking to our facilities. We are an RV park. Perhaps a state park would better accommodate you.

Staff very friendly & grounds well maintained but terraced 30 amp sites small, sloped a lot, & all sites not very private. Only reason we booked was to visit the Northern Rail Trail- location was great for that but otherwise we would not plan to stay again. Also we did not like being escorted to our site as it made us feel rushed and we ended up bending a sway bar backing in on unlevel ground.

The site that you were on is perfectly level and provides ample room, especially for a tiny trailer. Our staff are required to escort guests to their sites to ensure they park in the correct space. Unsure why you didn't disconnect your sway bars prior to backing in.................

Power went out for two hours over the one night we stayed there. No one responded until the next morning at which time they deflected blame to the power company and thanked us for letting them know??? Really? Kind of shocking. We have stayed at many KOa campsites over the years and are generally pretty happy with them. Don't think we will be staying here again!!

This power outage was a result of the power company having an issue with a line in our local area. It had nothing to do with the campground and there was nothing the campground could have done. We are shocked that you've never dealt with a power outage at home. It is no different here...really.

Camped for the weekend with some friends. They were able to give us two sites beside each other. Staff were friendly and helpful. Campground was very well maintained with a lot time and attention given to the small details. We have self-contained campers but used the bathhouse once and they were very clean. Will stay here again next year for a longer stay

Best KOA in New England. Well kept campground and sites. Best staff ever. We love going there and hate to leave. They make you feel like family, If you haven't stayed here you are missing a real gem.

Great facility. Full hook up sites were perfect and level. Bathrooms clean and convenient. Everyone was really friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. The park is beautiful and well laid out, the staff are friendly and helpful and the Halloween decorations were amazing! The only thing to mar our stay was the rain but that was not the fault of the park! What a lovely part of Vermont, we’ll definitely be back next year.

The spot we had was awesome. Sasly it rained the while time so we couldn't use the firepit. Grounds well kept and staff was great. The bathroom were clean and i was happy I could turn the heater on so I wouldn't freeze. Took 1 star off cause the grill wasn't clean. Had food and foil on it when we arrived. The flavorizers and bottom were caked with stuff, made it catch fire and gave food bad taste.

Currently on a 4 month round trip from California to Maine. This is one of the top KOA or any other CG. Welcoming folks, clean sites and peaceful.

We were met by a very nice gentleman who helped us complete our registration paperwork and then showed us to our site and assisted with backing in directions. We found the campground to be very clean and well maintained by staff. All staff and campers we came in contact with were very friendly and a pleasure to meet and interact with. The campground was very dog friendly.

May only complaint is that we didn’t stay long enough! Hosts were very friendly and the campground was awesome! Very clean, nicely landscaped and the sites were large. Some offered patios or decks even.

Despite one rude person that works there, we absolutely loved the place and will stay again! Everyone but the one person was extremely friendly and accommodating. It was a gorgeous and well kept park. Can’t wait to return!!! Well done!

Okay campground, very clean with attentive workers. A few (delux/premium) sites were awesome with patios and fire pits, however the majority are too close to each other. A little scary how close fire pits were to RV's. Super store with almost everything you would need. Unfortunately my expectations were set high, I found this campground no different than others we visited and less expensive.

We had a very nice time and I would recommend it to other campers. There is so much to see and do or just staying at the campground is pleasant also. My site (#13) was level and clean with some shade and sun. Camp K9 was close-by. The only negative would be the poor WiFi. I would look into a pay for WiFi system where you pay for a day,week or month in order to get reliable service. I'll be back.

Our WiFi works perfectly for its intended purpose at our campground. It is free public WiFi with limited bandwidth and does not support large file downloads, streaming, gaming, or work from home setups.

This was our ultimate destination and we were very pleased to stay at this KOA. We were able to visit many sites and locations from this “base camp”. This KOA had a very nice store and the staff was super friendly. We met many friendly couples as well.

Everything was terrific EXCEPT the wireless service was the worst. In this day and age when we are away from home we need to stay in contact with family, especially elderly or infirmed ones. We were not able to receive one phone call. We couldn't even get 4G! It would not be a strong service even if you were next to the office. A serious upgrade is in order.

We are not the cell phone company. We are a campground. You are more than welcome to contact your cell phone carrier and complain about their lack of service in the mountains. Our WiFi is perfectly capable of providing WiFi calling. Something you may want to look into.

Excellent, prompt, friendly, and attentive service - from the moment we arrived till we left. Clean and comfortable sites, very well maintained, as were the code-locked bath showers. After escorting us to our site, Corey came back with ice and firewood - never had that level of site service before. Beautiful trails and areas to walk and very pet friendly.

Everyone was very nice. There are quiet hours, maybe there should be outside lights off hours. An RV next to us had rope lights on the ground surounding their rig and they left them on all night. I was very bright in my tent.

We created so many very special family memories at this awesome campground because it's so great. We have never had a bad experience here. They remember who you are year after year.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at this KOA. This stellar review will no where come near to matching the kindness and care that the KOA staff showed to me and my family during the 2023 Columbus Day Weekend. To make a really long story short, my 8 week old son suffered a very traumatic event that landed him at the Dartmouth PICU for 11 days. This near death medical emergency happened while on the grounds of the KOA. During the emergency responders arrival, the staff and other campers were so helpful and caring. They are part of the reason my son is still with us today. Needless to say, my husband and I were not planning on staying at the campground for 11 days but when we knew we would be in the area indefinitely, the KOA staff managed to find empty sites (during one of their busiest times of the year — fall foliage) for us to move our airstream to and they also let us extend our stay past their season closing date. From the staff prayers, to the kind letters, this KOA made an unbelievably hard time somewhat more manageable. I am forever indebted to them for their kindness and I look forward to bringing my now 13 week old son back next year for a much more fun and festive experience!

We camp here every year for their Halloween weekend. We bring our daughter and family as well. They stay in one of the cozy cabins. They have tons of activities for the children and adults as well! Highly recommend a stay at this great campground!
