Michael and Cindy Scruggs, owners of the Quechee/Pine Valley KOA, did what many of us want to do: changed their lives from the hectic pace of corporate America to a nature-based lifestyle. “Now we have the hectic life of operating a campground, which we much prefer,” says Cindy.

Michael and Cindy have been avid RVers for years, as Michael spent 30 years as an executive in the marine industry and Cindy was employed as a licensed real estate agent in Florida. As business professionals, they know what it means to provide exceptional customer service. “We want to exceed our customers' expectations. Our goal is to make the Quechee/Pine Valley KOA one of the top mid-sized KOAs in the country, by providing great customer service and a top-notch facility. We would like our campers to tell their friends that this is one of the finest campgrounds they've stayed at and recommend us to all their friends,” says Michael.  We even have accommodations for "non-campers" in the form of beautiful deluxe cabins, complete with full bathrooms, kitchenettes & flat screen tv's, so bring a friend!

The Scruggs certainly are achieving their goals: their campground was awarded KOA's highest award – the Founder's Award – every year since they've owned the campground. And in 2015, they received the coveted Rising Star Award at the KOA Convention in South Carolina. The award is given to only one KOA out of the entire family of KOA's throughout the United States and Canada. The reason? They treat their campers with the utmost care and work every day to make sure their campers needs are met.

When they do find spare time, Michael and Cindy enjoy hiking, traveling, boating & scuba diving.
