Quechee / Pine Valley KOA

This KOA welcomes vacationers exploring numerous area attractions as well as weary travelers needing a convenient overnight stop.

Mention the Gateway to New England and the Quechee KOA comes to mind. Otherwise known as the "Gateway KOA" we are nestled in the breathtaking Upper Valley of Central Vermont. In addition to our spacious, level Big Rig friendly pull thru's we have multiple lodging choices for our friends who don't camp.  Our beautiful deluxe cabins, most with full bathrooms, kitchenettes and flat screen tv's sleep up to 6 people. Now that's camping! We make it easy for you to stretch out, unwind, relax and create your base camp to explore charming New England. We are an award winning, highly rated, top notch KOA within easy reach of numerous destinations and serve as home base for travelers exploring all of New England.

Not only are we famous for our Quechee Gorge, "The Little Grand Canyon of New England," we are also famous for our annual Quechee Balloon Festival which takes place every June on Father's Day Weekend. Thrill seekers can catch a ride on a hot air balloon in scenic Quechee or visit the ever popular Billings Farm & Museum and Vermonts only National Park, The Marsh Billings Rockefeller National Historic Park in nearby historic Woodstock. The Montshire Museum of Science rated one of the top 25 science centers in the country by Parent Magazine is a neighbor, as well as the Vermont Institute of Natural Science which has a fantastic Raptor Exhibit featuring the Northeast's largest collection of birds of prey.

Numerous food destinations abound, including the notorious Ben & Jerry's ice cream factory, and King Arthur Flour which has an onsite café, baker's store and baking education center. Local breweries, Long Trail and Harpoon, are "adult destination" favorites.

Want to stretch your legs? The Appalachian Trail and the renowned Long Trail of VT will keep the novice as well as the avid hiker busy. Of course, you can always relax back at camp in one of our sparkling deluxe cabins, take a swim in the heated pool, fish or canoe in our trout pond or just sit and enjoy the shaded breeze from the trees. Make us your home base to see New England and it won't take long to realize why visitors call us the "Gateway KOA!"
