Terrible location! Build a barrier to absorb the highway noise! Otherwise nice, clean bathrooms and well kept grounds.

Such a nice campground with such nice team running the place. The bathrooms have been remodeled and are exceptional. It's the perfect place for a stop over or to access the Pueblo Resevoir.

Very friendly staff. Unfortunately, in the site next to us was a full-timer whose site was a disaster! Also, he barked (no pun, intended) loudly and often at his dog. We were forced to close our blinds and turn on a loud fan.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Site is clean and well laid out! New restrooms and showers are amazing!!! They have a good variety of food available. The Pizza is especially good. Baked on site!

There is a tunnel that is dangerous to get to the campground very hair raising. This should be disclosed before arriving. One night someone tried to break into our truck. The office staff was very good.

The facilities are great! The bathrooms are clean. Look like they are brand new. As a recommendation they could use hooks and a small bench to rest your things on. Internet worked amazingly. Everyone was exceptionally friendly. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

We have enjoyed staying at the Pueblo KOA so much! The people there make you feel so welcome. Rae and Bob are perfect hosts. Making sure everyone is taken care of. Great amenities and large clean parking spaces. We’ll be back!

My situation was a bit odd because I needed a place to pitch my tent and I was told the tent area was closed since the shower house wasn't up and running. But the temporary shower house was just fine. However, there was no WATER near my site. Staff was very friendly. No real amenities (water/table/shelter) for $37 so three stars. The site was worth $20 tops.

Always enjoy staying here. Clean facilities and friendly staff. Love the sound of the trains at night and the occasional artillery booms (they are not bad and not very often). Looking forward to your upgrades being completed.

Friendly staff, facilities were under construction so temporary ones were poor and not all services were available. Directions and access was difficult with lack of signs. Just a basic gravel and dirt park, not much different than a parking lot.

With the train track so close by and seemed to have a train go thru all night blowing whistle, was pretty loud. We did live the private pet pen. Our dogs loved that. Would stay again but will bring ear plugs!!

Our stay was very pleasant. The stall was very friendly and helpful. when we left and item at the campsite, they immediately called us and we were able to return and get the item. Thank you, KOA Journey.

Incredibly great employees. Pam, the clerk was instrumental in my experience; she is a gem of a woman, along with her husband. The sites was a little narrow is my only complaint.

This was a last minute stay over. We were very happy with the campground. Kim in office was extremely nice and helpful and the pizza place was very reasonable priced and was tasty. We will stay again when traveling that way.

The office staff were very new to the park and very professional. However, we incurred a storm of moths inside our Motorhome that has taken three days to eliminate. The KOA didn’t cause it, but we think it happened there as far as we can determine. Sorry

We do have quite the Moth problem sorry you had to endure it. They are migratory and don't last forever, I promise they aren't forever so please stop by again!

Had a short but wonderful stay. Clean park with friendly staff. Even had great wifi! Yes, there was highway noise, but we knew that when we saw this KOA and booked it. It really wasn't bad. Will stay again!

The campground was very nice. Clean and well maintained. The reason for my rating is the constant noise of I-25, and the proximity to a busy railway. Very difficult to have a conversation with the background noise!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I like to think over the 40 years this campground has been here this noise is natural for us. And like in the mountains animal noises are common, we have our Vroom Vroom and Choo Choo. Have a great trip!

I rented the smallest, cost effective Cabin available. We loved it. Ceiling fan, air conditioning and a small heater. Bunk bed and a larger bed. Glamping approved!!

It was just tough timing due to all th construction, and water being shut down. In and out is also a little worrisome due to access from I-25

Was passing through Pueblo and stayed 1 night in a Kamper Cabin. What a cool concept. Comfortable bed, lots of space, and a front deck with an incredible view of Pikes Peak. The grounds and individual shower/toilet rooms were impeccably neat and clean. The couple at the front desk are awsome people!!! Overall, this is the nicest KOA that I have ever stayed at.

We are going into the third month of our stay and we absolutely love it. You can tell the owner truly cares about the campground. Everything is so clean and tidy around the campsites and facilities. The lots are spacious with excellent wifi. I work remote, sometimes on video calls with my team, so the wifi is a HUGE plus and is rare to find. The staff is excellent, friendly, kind and helpful. Our dog escaped during a blizzard and they were out helping looking for him for hours. They share local tips and even alert you when mail or packages arrive. There are so many thoughtful amenities like the pool, grill, patio, and dog park. So happy to make this our home for a few months. Highly recommend!!

Hands down the best KOA we have stayed at. We have been here for a year for work. Long term spots are huge! First park we've stayed at with great wifi! They are always doing upgrades to an already perfect park. Location is nice, great views, also far enough away from the crime in pueblo. Now the best part of our stay was the staff, they are all amazing, truly. We definitely felt like family here.
