First time staying at a KOA. Very impressed with the staff at the I25 Pueblo West KOA. Will probably stay at more KOA's in the future.

Great place nice people

Great experience with check in/checkout. The only sugggestion is that it would have been nice if the A/C had been turned on before we got there. It was really hot in the cabin when we got there at 10:30 pm. It took an hour for it to cool down before we could go to sleep.

Should warn travelers of the clearance issues when using exit 108 north. Most big rights cannot use the underpass and must travel north tot the next exit and circle back.

Friendly staff pretty easy in and out. Short drive to Pueblo city center. Oour Motorhome is 13 feet tall and we had no problems with a short bridge. The have to truck in their water supply that is very good quality.

Staff were all in bad moods. I don't know what was going on. I'm 52, traveling with my 80 yr old mom, and they seemed unpleasant or angry. One point of interest, there were at least 4 hand written signs they had something to do with they kicking you out if you raise your voice at them. We were real pleasant with them, they never smiled, younger bald guy, both ladies at front desk, something wired

The park is very nice and the WiFi was very good, but it was the most expensive park we stayed in during a month long journey across 10 states.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You stayed in our largest Deluxe Patio Site. So, yes it was expensive. With making a reservation the day before a holiday, that was probably the only site available. Safe travels.

The location and the pool and the campground are great it's nice and clean however the staff was terribly rude to us not sure if it was because we are a younger family but we kept our cabin clean and were extremely friendly and nice but they were still just very very rude to us at the stay and before hand when I call just to confirm my reservation

The campgrounds are very nice but put us in a end one that cost more and saw ones empty. Might be a no show so let that go but the pool has tiny steps and no railing. Hard for me to get in and out bad knees. Water suppose to be heated and was very cold. Man told us at pool gets cold at night and no one puts on cover. They also told us not to use hot tub it may cause a rash. Whoa! Not good.

Nice quiet KOA. Staff is wonderful. Enjoyed the pool but would benefit having a handrail to help get out of the pool safely.

I really enjoyed staying in that cute cabin. It was very peaceful and the scenery was gorgeous. Definitely can not get that staying in a motel. I will be coming back.

It was a great place to stop for 1 night for our travels.

Nice campgrounds, great staff, especially the gal making pizza and serving ice cream cones....clean restrooms...

Wonderful caring staff thst work very hard. Very clean facilities.

The day I arrived, the campground was in the midst of a wildfire emergency from nearby wild fires. They were scrambling to accept evacuees from campgrounds nearer the fires. The staff was organized and professional. Since I didn’t really need my full hookup site, I offered to move to a smaller site to free up a space for a bigger rig. They were very appreciative and gave me a free dinner.

I made the mistake of staying at the Amarillo KOA before staying at the Pueblo KOA. Amarillo KOA spoiled me and made the Pueblo KOA a disappointment.

Hard right turn is a killer at the southbound exit; single lane tunnel under interstate (northbound) is a pain because local traffic doesn't like to yield to RVs. Campground itself is good.

Dog park was filthy; dog poop had not been cleaned the entire time we were there, bbq was missing grate, propane ran out, No ignitor. Employees let their dogs run off leash, hot cold were reversed on shower, absolutely no shade. Very disappointing. I agree with the negative posts we read.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We had a great stay.

Campground was clean. Deluxe campsite had plenty of room - included grill, fire pit, tables, and concrete pad. Some road noise. Difficulty accessing campground due to low, narrow railway overpass as one exits from Northbound I-25. Southbound I-25 exit just as difficult since campground access road requires immediate right hand U-turn from exit. Staff a bit cranky. Love the on-site pizza delivery!

Very hot but the ice cream was very refreshing.

Stay was good, Nice spot.

Great location, super friendly folks.

Good location - already through Pueblo, and not far from Colorado Springs. Our sewer was way too far back, so it was hard to level at our site and still use the sewer, and the trees badly needed pruning - they were scratching our motorhome. Bathrooms were nice. Picnic tables were beautiful.

Very nice campground.

It was a short stay, at one of the deluxe sites ( beautiful), and all I have to say is we would stay there again. They were very professional and had a nice little. store.
Jun 26, 2018
The campground had everything that we wanted... clean bathrooms, cable TV, internet, good water pressure, trees, etc. We would come back.

Was great. Staff is extremely nice and exceptional customer service Site and facilities are clean
Jun 26, 2018
Staff were very professional and extremely helpful. Very rude and profan guests at the pool with children under the ages of 10years old swimming. Not the greatest KOA but what I would expect for peublo area.

We were very impressed with how clean the whole campground was! The staff was super friendly from registration, concessions and the staff who was picking up campers trash they set out. He wished us a safe trip as we left that morning. We will be seeing you again! Thanks!

Yes! If you are looking for a campground in Pueblo, yes!! I was pleasantly surprised - well, shocked by this well kept, immaculately clean, hidden camp ground run and maintained by a great friendly couple and staff! The camp group is conveniently located, offers lodging for every type of travel- RVs, tents, and cabins. Cabins.. Can’t beat the price. I’ll definitely be back! The view. Wow. Watch the sun set over the mountains. Or here’s a view from my cabin with the sun behind me in the morning
