We stayed 4 nights in the glamping tent and had a great time!!! We will be back for sure. The entire place is very well maintained and the staff was very nice. If you plan to stay in that tent, be aware the wind NEVER stops so cooking outside is a huge task.

Wonderful stay. The staff was so polite and helpful. We stayed in a cabin or like a tiny home that was perfectly spotless. Every cabin is completely different which is great. The park was clean and the view was awesome if you like to be in the water. Quiet nights and clear stars.

We enjoyed talking to your friendly, professional management. This KOA had the most amenities of any campground that we have stayed at. Everything was sparkling clean and the grounds super cared for. We can't wait to visit again.

My family stayed in the yurt right by the water. We loved the amenities and the views! So much to do and look at. They had everything that we needed and more including pizza as a dinner option. My only slight complaints was the yurt was a bit muggy despite having an AC unit. Also, the bathrooms were nice but only one was in working order when we were there. The staff is super helpful though!

The campground facilities are top notch. Bailey, the manager, went above and beyond to speedily rectify an A/C issue for us, and we were very pleased with our stay.

Everything was Great, Just a little pricey for the Cabin. $100 cleaning fee thought was High, being we left it the way we found it. Thought it had Bunks, and when I paid $170 up front. Thought my Balance would be about $170, not $330. Didn't know I had the Romantic one, but guess the other one would of been even Higher. Also Small TV and Fridge.

Compared to prior visits. This cabin was not very clean. Old ice cream wrapers and the bed mattress was the worest . Felt like a crib mattress . No fluff . We have stayed in different cabins and beds were much better. Expected more for the price.

PLUS: friendly staff, everything in working order, not too crowded, pickleball courts! (Why we chose this location) MINUS: my ONLY complaint - mattresses are sooooo uncomfortable for us old folks. I would stay again but definitely bring a foam mattress topper.

It was an amazing stay. All the family oriented activities, having the pool, beach, games, etc available makes this place awesome for families!! Very very clean and well kept! All staff were so nice. Thanks for the fireworks!!!!

Our stay was amazing, we had such a good time on our vacation. We stayed in a cabin and it was very roomy & cozy. I wish the cabin had curtains because in the morning the sun shined right into the bedroom. That was the only downfall since it woke us up very early!!

We selected to drive two days to have a family vacation site. The pool was not as big as they say and the chemicals burned my grandchildrens skin. The cabin I thought we had was for 6 but they gave us one for 5 which was not enough for the 10,12 and 13 year olds... they would not make any changes and gave a 6 person cabin to a couple with no kids. There were no kid activites setup as stated.

The saltwater pool is monitored and tested frequently during the day. As for cabin, you chose a 5 person cabin (as stated on your confirmation email) The guests in the larger/loft cabin paid $$ for that cabin. We do not 'give' the guests cabin assignments. Couldn't "give" you another guests cabin.

We absolutely love it. We stay every year but this is the first time in a cabin and will forever rent a cabin from now on. Maybe need new mattresses. They are pretty worn and we went and bought an egg crate to go over but it was great over all. We will be back for sure! Thank you!!

Beautiful campground. I don’t recommend the yurt during the summer. It got way too hot. However the campground offered lots to do and the staff was friendly and helpful. Already booked a stay in the cabins for October!

Very kind staff. We enjoyed our stay. Any concerns were taken care off. Even ask for extra bedding and within 10 minutes it was at the door of our cabin. Thank you for a lovely stay.

First off, I love this place. I love the quaintness and views of the matagorda bay. The cabin I stayed in was super cute and the staff very friendly. The only complaint I have is the mattress was very uncomfortable. I don’t know if all the cabins have the same mattresses but it almost felt like an air mattress. I would have given it 10 stars if not for the fact that my husband and I did not slee

This campsite is great. We stayed in a deluxe cabin it was really new and super clean. They had nice restrooms, beach area, pool, and pier. My boys and their friends caught several fish off the pier. Their customer service was fantastic! I highly recommend this place.

Rented the yurt and on arrival they told us the electricity was not working. immediately upgraded us to a deluxe cabin! Thank you! They allowed us to visit the yurt because it would have been a totally new experience. I only suggestion find a way to have a bathroom attached. We enjoyed our stay at the port Lavaca Koa. Missy and Bailey were awesome and were able to answer any concerns or questions we had. This KOA is extremely clean and well cared for. We enjoyed this stay and we have booked our next stay and we can't wait to return!

The cabins were new and spotless! Woke up to ocean view was absolutely beautiful! All staff were very friendly and made us feel at home on our short family vacation. The small convenience store has everything you could need last minute even beer! And if not H�E�B and Walmart are only a short 18 minute drive away. We enjoyed how secluded this location was, we are coming back next year! Thanks K

We stayed 3-nights in cabin 9. Ants in cabin first night. Had to be sprayed and cleaned. Tub very slow to drain while taking a shower. Television lacked enough signal to work properly. Office personnel did offer a free pizza for ant inconvenience.

Stayed in one of the cabins. Had everything you need. Has a great fishing dock. It was to windy to take out a kayak. But, will do next time I come down. Thanks for the great time and the great staff. Missy did a great job.

I came for a relaxing time away and achieved that goal. There were events offered, but I did not participate. I really appreciated the texts telling me what was available, though, and if I had family with me would have participated. The staff on hand were super friendly and hospitable. Just like I have come to expect at KOAs. This KOA is only 3 years old so all was very clean and up-to-date!

The staff so helpful a d worked with me in a change in cabin due to unexpected handicap. My teenage son had a great time hanging out with other kids . It was a great escape from technology for him...I will back again this was our 3 rd trip here.

Nice campground with a great view. Very clean facilities and lots of amenities. Friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed staying in the glamping tent; liked the privacy and the front porch facing the lake.

Great people here, running a great KOA. Lots of amenities, nice sites, and quiet! Funny, Google thinks this is a hotel, hence the zero stars for “Rooms”. Pickleball courts are a nice touch - although they needed a bit of cleaning.

Decent spot for a stop over we were only here for the night, but bathrooms are clean and fresh and laundry. Lots of things to do. The pizza and the wings were super easy and affordable. Definitely not top-notch gourmet cuisine but very good to not have to cook. We were in the very first site as you come in and they were a lot of ant nests so we had to watch the dog pretty carefully.

What a wonderfully quiet bayfront KoA. Property is well maintained and has a ton of amenities. We were there shouting a weekday so was very quiet and restful. Staff is helpful and very kind. Showers are clean and plenty of hot water. If we lived anywhere nearby we'd make this a repeat destination.
