Grass needed to be cut and campground needs to spray for bugs and pools close to early and open to late

I have a few suggestions. A bedside table should be provided for all cabins that have bedrooms. There should also be a small table sitting in the bedrooms to place your belongings. Please remove the giant slide if you're not including it in the attractions. I've been there the last 3 years and the slide is NEVER OPEN! Please update the wifi or the cell signals.

We thought the cabins were a little dark maybe switch to LED lighting? Thought the pool hours could be longer maybe open 9 to 9. Not directly by us but in the distance you could hear a couple of dogs barking all the time. And you always have the couple of sites with people partying with loud music after 11. On the positive side your employees in the store & around the campgrounds were fast & great

We had a wonderful time taking our 1 year old camping for the first time. The different amenities were awesome. I'd love to see more options for smaller babies/toddlers. But other than that, everything was great. You guys really have thought of everything! Only complaint is the numerous skunks that come close to you at night. And the mosquitos. We can't wait to come back! Thank you!

I like my stay, and I have requested a month next year from July 1 to checking out on August 1, 2024 under the name Christal Hughes. My husband passed away and we did a lot of camping at your KOA and I would like to do something for our kids to help them with the healing process. My suggestion is that you have some activities for adults, like poker night or game night.

This was the best KOA I’ve been too. Resort in the title fits perfectly. It’s so well organized and run, gorgeous grounds, tons to do. Most unique spots to choose with gazebos, and tent village. Loved staying at tent village, with covering and gravel tent pad to help water drainage.

Well it didn’t start off very well as we did not get the site that was explained to us!!!!? Very annoying as the young people at the desk really don’t know very much. It was suppose to have been a pull thru and was a back In!!!! That is not easy with a 38’ Motorhome. The site we got was beautiful though as most of them are. The stay was fine. Everything was clean and in good repair. Welcome staff was friendly and knowledgeable. However the staff running the activities need an attitude adjustment. In particular the staff at the jumping pillows and the staff taking money at the train. Date was July 29, 2023.

Everything was great except....the mosquitoes were horrific!! We bought firewood from the office and couldn't handle sitting outside at all!! Not sure if you spray for them but if not it's definitely something to consider. The park is great but the mosquitoes were so bad that it's almost not worth it to come back. We also sprayed deep woods bug spray around the fire put to try and help but nothing

We had a very nice stay. The kids had fun and made lots of friends. There was so much for them to do! We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Not enough characters to here to even describe everything that happened to us at this KOA this weekend. Absolutely the worst experience at a campground I have ever experienced. If you want to have garbage on your site; your neighbors tents on your site & be eaten alive by bugs this is the place for you. Management's solution to someone else having their tent on my site was to have ME move �

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

YOUR ADJACENT CAMPERS WERE NOT ON YOUR SITE. We offered to move you because you expressed concern about your neighbors. You refused another site. If they WERE NOT encroaching on your site, what would you have us to do?? We have pictures to substantiate that they were not on your site.

Been going here for the past 3 years. Always been clean but this time, bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and the showers were terrible and smelled like urine. Garbage on the ground around cabin. Had to pick up when arrived.

3 nights here. Noisy neighbours and pit smokers. Campground rules state no drugs allowed. WiFi is non existent unable to even check emails. Why advertise WiFi if you can’t provide service?

My only complaint is people walking through campsite to campsite. Your rules states walking through campsites is not allowed yet it was happening. We ended up putting our stuff inside our tent because we had room but mostly I didn't want anything stolen. Nothing most likely would have gotten stolen but you can't trust everybody.

We had a no-frills campsite. There was a hole and when we called the office they were quick to fill it in. The pools were nice, if crowded. It was conveniently located. I really wish easterners wouldn't leave campfires smoldering all day to cause difficulty for those of us with breathing problems. Really appreciate the text messages and the quietness of the campsite during quiet hours!

A few uninterested young students? at the reception checked us in (no res) rude questions needed to be answered. A plastic bag with some info handed over. My questions about how the gate opens and where the facilities are located were uninterested answered. Unbelievable service stil $82 for a tent site. During our many years of woldtravels and two years KOA member never had this bad service.

Congratulations. You are first person in over about 67,000 guests that have passed through our facility since using this KOA mandated software that has felt that reasonable questions, some required by the State of Michigan, were RUDE. Sorry!

Another great summer visit! Lodges could use a better cleaning between guests. Very dusty ceiling fans and a/c units (one says filter needs to be changed) and floors were not swept. Other than that, Lodge was great and we really enjoyed out visit! See you again next summer!

2 nights in a comfortable cabin with 3 grandkids, plenty for us to do! Prefer staying mid week to avoid weekend crowds. Suggestion: Have staff ride through the campground about 11/11:30 p.m. to ensure quiet time is observed. Our neighbors played a loud radio until 1:30 a.m.

Nice campground, very family friendly. Water temperature adjustment was backwards and confusing in the showers and a curtain hung between the shower and changing area so dry clothes didn't get wet would be nice. Would have been nice if pool stayed open until 9:00. Rental on bikes ,etc. seem pricey for the length of time you get them. Pizza from the Mad Dog Saloon was very good and at a good price

We ad some issues with the GFI outlets in the kitchen area in the lodges. Cook top would trip the GFI after a very short time. The water had a smell of sulfur in all of the camper lots that we used. The air conditioners in the lodge would cycle on and off constantly. The camp grounds seemed to be kept clean and neat. We have stayed at this camp ground for over 25 years.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! We were tent camping and wanted to upgrade to a cabin because of storms coming in the area. It was so quick and easy!

Activities were great! Our room could have been cleaner. There was a lot of dog hair on the floor from previous visitors that we had to sweep ourselves. We were disappointed the train was only working one day of our stay- this was something super important for our kids to get to do. Office staff could have been a little more welcoming, we felt they didn’t want to be there doing their job.

We love all the amenities that Port Huron KOA offers. The only mishap was that our friends sites had no power for the first several hours we were there and no notifications were sent out prior to check in.

For a 0 tolerance place. Sure was all but that. Had kids come right up on camper, right agents my windows. Playing hide and seek. Had to listen to screaming motor cycle or car come by reving there engine to be noticed.. from the main road. Waiking me up every night. Picnic table was in hiatus shape. Would not even use it. Great facilities and responsive / friendly staff! Grounds are very well kept. We had a terrible storm. Staff quickly responded, cleaning up all the trees. I wish the pools were warmer. Very chilly.

My stay was nice as always I only have 1 issue and that's the price of the golf cart. $80 a day is way too much to being charging your guest

This place is very family oriented and has a ton of activities for the kids. Some areas are not shaded and small lots but some areas have larger lots and shade.
