30 day seasonal this year. All staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities clean. Pools kinda over crowded.

This is our 6th visit to KOA Port Huron. We do enjoy the facility and campers all around are generally friendly and there to have a good time. We have seen growth in areas with new builds but no updating or maintenance of the existing cabins or washrooms and costs continue to rise at a fairly high % rate. We may return next year but will also be looking cost competitive alternatives.

It's such a great location, but we were disappointed to find that things have declined since our last visit 5 years ago including the service level. Staff poorly trained and not very knowledgeable about park amenities. Our cabin was quite dirty upon arrival with Dorito chips on floor, sand on mattresses, layer of dirt on blinds, etc. Waterslide info should be removed from website - disappointment!

At first when we pulled in and seen all of the people and chaos going on we were a little like oh no we will probably never come back there are way too many people here but then we got in got set up and had a great weekend. All of the staff that we encountered were really nice and we just had an all around relaxing time. We also loved the location of our camp site.

Tenters are STACKED on top of each other, parking is a nightmare,employee communicate / rule enforced is inconsistent / lacking ,our site didn't have a picnic table(they didn't bring 1 after it was brought to their attention)among many other things. As a camper, none of this would have really bothered us if it was reflected in the price. But paying top $$ for sub par sites & service is a no for me

Place is okay - small sites and tons of people. The “amenities” were not nearly as nice as they looked online—think ‘90s kitschy. Very close to town where there are a lot of cool things to do, so that is a plus. No one seemed to be in charge. Kids working there were nice enough but couldn’t answer basic questions. One even admitted it was their last day and they had already checked out.

It was all good but i feel that the camp sights are too close and there needs to be some sort of security team because there was people fighting when i was trying to sleep.

Cabin was not clean and no fan on front part.. internet was very slow after paying $120

When we arrived on our cite there was a sewage spill still there. We had to tell them at the store. There was a lot of garbage on the ground that was from campers though. When we were packing up the clean up crew was around cutting and trimming grass around our motorhome and we were not impressed. We understand that it needs to be done but our check out was not until 2 and it was only around 10am

We have rented lodges for the past 20 years. Through the years the price per night has increased and the amenities and cleanliness of the lodges have decreased. When you arrive you would expect the proper number of bowls, pans and utensils. Each year items available have decreased. I would expect that as a cabins is cleaned missing items would be replaced using a check list.

Cabin did not have soap in the bathroom, toilet seat was very loose, and dozens of flies upon arrival. They brought soap and fixed the toilet seat. We bought a fly swatter. Had a good time, but cabins are very close.

Staff was often unsure about procedures. Especially the rental of golf carts and process to change campsites. Overall everyone was extremely friendly, but some additional training and reference materials could help.

We had a great time! Wish we would have knew how to rent the golf carts. Not enough information when you check in. And please pay your employees more, all weekend they were heard over talking about how they don’t make enough and they are ready to leave….not good to over hear!!!!

We had a great time with the grandkids and my son. You have a lot of nice activities for the kids to do and nice pools . Clean and well maintained.

I loved the stay it was a nice get away my only issue was for what we were charged for the master mattress was almost falling through the platform only one person could sleep on it one side was completely warn out and couldn’t hold any weight at all I would recommend having it replaced my site was 300L

WiFi was a huge issue, used data and incurred loads of data charges. It is very imperative that when taking kids that they can tour on their own and still have contact via texts, etc. I was extremely disappointed that WiFi was included but we could not benefit from it

We have a 45’ motorhome towing an H2, I wanted a pull through so we didnt have to unhook. This place in NOT big rig friendly. The roads are very narrow & sites are tight. Put us in 30 amp site, would not lend the 30/50 adapter we were there one night so I bought one, used it & returned in the am. Office staff is a bunch of kids who have no rv knowledge. $86 for 30 amp seriously?

Employees made up their own prices. Mad Dog Saloon has 10pm posted closed times called to order pizza at 8:50 and they said they closed at 8:45 and hung up on us. Lodge 338 had yellow jackets entering bunk room, wasps coming through the front door. Staff would come spray and leave right after without checkups so worker bees would keep coming back. Cabin wasn’t clean.

Everything was great! K2 Rustic Cabin was very clean and comfortable. L339 could have been a bit cleaner upon arrival. Overall service from staff friendly and accommodating. A high rated thumbs up. Hope to be back next year to make it 4 years in a row.

We were really impressed with Pt Huron KOA lots to do lots of amenities and really good quiet time yes I would recommend this KOA. It would be a place to take your kids for sure

We travelled to this campground with 3 other families. Disappointed that the water slides were listed on the website but when we arrived told they were no longer running. Staff was not very knowledgeable about event times, how Sawmill worked etc. when we asked questions. Would be much better if the activities and pool would have longer operating hours for guests to enjoy. Campsites clean/big.

Quite disappointed! 1) water slides closed 2) staff very unfriendly and not knowledgeable in park rules/times/details 3) timing ok when things are open and closed is not kid friendly, nothing open until noon is ridiculous 4) cabins incredibly unclean! Chips in the couch, dirt and grime everywhere

I wanted to give 5 stars but one of the main reasons we go camping is swimming however the pools were so cold, they were unbearable to be in. Supposedly the one pool is slightly heated but it was still very cold. Other than that, the campground has lots to do for kids and Sawmill City next door provided plenty of fun. Stock of clothing seemed low with generally only small or kid sizes available.

Our first time and we enjoyed it and plan to return. Only a few issues as we stayed in a handicap cabin for my daughter, the bathroom had a mirror that was great for my daughter but I had to duck in order to see myself. Should still think of others and have a full mirror. Also the bed was brutal to sleep in. Had to lay on pillows. But everything else was fantastic and was pleasantly surprised.

Walked in to our cabin, we found many things that completely grossed us out. Kids went into bunk room to find a pad, wrappers and food all on and under their mattresses. There were pube hairs all over in the sink and shower in our bathroom, along with a dirty towel & washcloth left in the shower. Then when we made up the couch bed, DIRTY and I mean dirty sheets left. We got 1 day refund but still.

I had an enjoyable stay at the koa had fun and beautiful weather. the staff was great went far and beyond to keep me safe at the campground this week I’m looking forward to come back again

It was really fun. This KOA has a lot of activities to do for all ages. The new trailer section this year is a really nice upgrade. The only thing that would be nice is if there was a bathroom added to the sports court building so you don't need to walk to other one.

I've been coming to KOA Port Huron since I was a kid. I've had so many great memories with my family. So much for kids to do and a great family environment. Now that I'm older, I still enjoy the campground and everything it has to offer.

Big "resort" feel, lots of groups camping. Bike and Golf cart rental (didn't try) sites are decent sizes, not all have lots of trees. Good mix. Although 8 miles away railway switching yard so trains are blowing whistles at all hours (depending what site you may not hear) Thumbs up to Alishia who checked us in - even with customers being rude to her she was smiling and a great hostess!!

For the first time....disappointing. Our cabin was filthy..Spiderwebs in all corners..behind the fridge was disgusting...and our mattress had something sticky on it..maybe something spilled on it.....We had to wait for our cabin to be cleaned...not complaining on that too much...but the cleanliness was awful as the bathroom and shower area..

I enjoyed my stay and believe that this location has great amenities!! I’m also looking forward to our stay next year that’s already book. One small thing, definitely not a deal breaker though, is that the lodge/cabin could have been a little cleaner; toilet/tub. Other than that, great accommodations!!

Love the atmosphere of the Port Huron KOA. We have visited several times. This year the mosquitoes were terrible! No matter what prevention we used they ruined our outdoor area time. Fires were cut short. When they came to cut the grass the area was swarmed for the rest of the day. Also the pools were very cold. Not a refreshing chill but so icy that my little one was shivering and wanted to play.

Our refrigerator went out in our cabin and they came and replaced it. We were there Hawaiian weekend. What is a Hawaiian weekend without Hawaiian dancers?

We love coming there. The staff is friendly and usually handles anything needed. I rent the lodges when we come. The futon in L317 definitely need to be replaced . It had no life left in the mattress/cushion. It was not comfortable to sit on let alone attempt to sleep on. They did offer me more blankets for cushioning. That did not solve the issue. I paid a lot of money for that cabin for 3 nights

This place is very family oriented and has a ton of activities for the kids. Some areas are not shaded and small lots but some areas have larger lots and shade.
