National Parks are always a popular vacation destination, but some are better suited to RVs than others. Here are five of the best National Parks for RVers, along with ideas for where to stay and what to do.

Site Limits: Only 6 people per site allowed including visitors. Only 4 may be adults. Over that requires additional sites.
Groups: Over 3 sites make a group. All groups must be reserved through the group cordinator to come onto the campground. (firstname.lastname@example.org) Reserving on-line or over the phone without going through the group cordinator stands a high chance for the reservations to be canceled and your deposits refunded. E-mails may take up to five days so make your reservations far in advance.
Pets: Please, No Pit Bulls or Pit Bull mixed breed dogs are allowed on the campground. Please fill out the 'special request' section on your breed of dog when reserving.
Camp Fires: Due to fire restrictions we are not allowed to have wood fires at your site. We do have loaner fire pits (duraflame & charcoal only) you can request while supplies last. There is also a community fire ring where wood fires are allowed when fire danger is not high.
Extended Stays: Over 2 weeks with an RV is classified extended stay and requires you to go on line to (koa-placerville.com/monthlies)for any fees, information and an application to apply. Please do not call the koa you will just be directed to the same web site.
Cabins & Tents: longest stay is 1 week in a 30 day period then you must be gone for 6 weeks.
Length of stays: An RV site may only be reserved for up to two weeks. A cabin or Tent may only be reserved for up to one week. If you reserve for any longer then that the reservation will be voided. Car Passes: All vehicles must have a car pass to be on the campground. All Visitors must register in office, pay visitor fee and have a car pass.
Check-In: Check-In is after 2:00pm. Check-Out is 11:00am. Sorry, we do nothave early check-in or late check-out.
Requested Sites: Please note you may request a site
but sites are not guaranteed only the type of site you requested is gauranteed. Only groups are guaranteed certain sites through the group cordinator. We do try hard to accomodate you but we can't gaurantee.
Red Hawk Suttle: There is a 24 hour on-call shuttle service to the casino. They have a great lunch Buffet.
Days you may reserve:Only up to two weeks in an RV and One week in a Tent or cabin.
Reminder: Friday & Sat most nights during the summer we play movies. Sat most nights during the winter. *Free Popcorn. We also have Free Mini-Golf, Swimming pool, Hot Tub, Arcade, and a Large Dog Park.
