It started bad when the Google link on the website took us about 8 miles west of the park. It continued bad when the power, and water was on the wrong side of our RV which lead to the camper next to us turning off our power two days in a row. Please put a power outlet for EACH campsite. The staff was very helpful and we liked the laundry facilities.

The FHU sites are way too close to each other...our black tank hose was on an uphill grade which made it difficult to empty...campground served its purpose but not sure I would choose to stay there again.

Didn't use the bathrooms, but used the firepit & wood. Was nice you didn't cut all the trees down. Many upgrades since I visited around 1990. Nice that there was a propane dealer we got propane from.. just before the gas station on the corner going towards Munising.

I do not believe this KOA is up to typical KOA standards. Seemed to be a conversion, but looking a bit tired.

This was our first experience camping. We didn’t know what to expect or even exactly what to look for when booking a site. Our site was at the back of the campground. It was wooded and fairly flat so easy to level out the camper. We decided in the future we would prefer a sunny location. The woods were beautiful and it was very quiet which was nice. The Wi-Fi and cable hookup was not great.

Unfortunatley, we were assigned a space that placed our camper door nearly face-to-face with the camper in the next space. This was a first for us and it was somewaht uncomfortable. You felt like your every move was being watched/analyzed. In addition, the camper was home base for a large group and they were extremely loud (until quite hours ended). I'm sure the whole camp heard their "party".

Beautiful and quiet but, I was not happy that we couldn't be next to our other party as the site next to us was only used for overnighters.

Very close to the road, noisy car/truck traffic heard all night. I was at an electric only spot 76, but couldn’t find the power source until the morning, which was behind a bush. Honestly, I’m not even sure if that was mine to use??? I’m grateful there were no kids as this spot is on top of the playground.

The park was clean as were the bathrooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were on site 41 and the fire pit was too close to the neighbor to our east. We will return, but will request a different site. There could be a few clothes/towel hooks in the bathroom by the sinks. Thanks, Dan

Wonderful site, well treed. Long sites good for big rigs. Issue would be the state of the restrooms, only 2 small shower units and lack of cleanliness. One additional larger unit for handicapped. Rated a 3 because of state of restrooms.

Bathrooms were not very good, showers stalls were small and smelled of mold. The camping sites were big but the hook ups were hard to reach and had to jockey the camper to be able to hook up electric and water. Not very accommodating. The whole time we were there, did not see one staff member going around the facility.

We love your fire pits, excellent for fires and cooking, safe and smart in design! We really liked having the wooded sites, provided a nice, natural setting. The location was good for exploring the area. The pool was closed for the season, so we couldn't use that. Bathroom showers are quite small, except the handicapped one, but otherwise bathrooms were nice & clean.

It would have been a great stay except we were in site 5 which was also by suites 1-7. These sires are in the wide open “field” like area. Grass was not cut but most of all it’s right by the main road (highway) therefore traffic was loud especially semis traveling through all hours of night and day! Not peaceful at all. Nowhere did it state this when looking for a site

Booked 2wks in advance, mid Sept. We were assigned space 30, W+E only. The site wasn't level, the water was 25' away, it was muddy, no wifi, and no Verizon. They said we could stay in their overflow out front, which is all grass, E only. I noticed there were many open sites that were level and nice when I drove to the overflow. At least Verizon worked good in overflow. Not impressed.

The site was amazing - large, wooded, private, quiet. We were on the road for 4 months and this one was in the top 5. Upon check in, we were greeted with a very happy face and couldn't have been more polite and respectful. The grounds were spotless. wants to make me visit the UP again.

It was great? Clean showers, washrooms. Desk person was courteous. Perfect location for getting to different falls and hikes. I could be wrong, but I don’t think there were any other ‘full service’ campgrounds in Munising, MI

Had to give you 4 stars only because our full hookup site was very load road noise. Couldn’t sit outside for the load noise. With only 7 spots for full hookups you don’t have a choice. Very disappointed in the field location and to drive through when you are towing. However I must say when we walked around the sites that weren’t full hookups they were very nice beautiful spots in the woods.

We appreciate the feedback and apologize you didn't enjoy your site. It's very clear when reserving the location of those sites. We have more than 7 full hook-up sites and they are located in the back of the campground, both 30 and 50 amp.

We had a lovely stay at this campground. Our site was huge, wooded, and private. It would be nice if there were more full hookup sites, but we made out just fine. The location is great and the office staff was helpful. If we ever make it back up that way, we'll stop in again.
