When we arrived there was no power for several hours. Because of the lot angle I had to park farther back in the site which required me to buy additional water house and coax to hook up to services. Ended up leaving a day earlier than originally planned.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The power was out for 1.5 hours due to an accident that needed to be fixed by the local power company.

Excellent. Quiet. Exactly what I expected. My only gripe is that the wifi was spotty. And since cell service is poor in that area (for Verizon), I'd wished for better wifi service.

Good campground, very friendly and helpful staff. We felt very welcomed! Clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. To no fault of the campground, there was very loud road construction for the entirety of our stay. It went late into the night, and started up at 5am. Our campsite was right on the road, so quiet and restful was not a part of our stay. Wish we'd had a site further back.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sites are smaller and no pads would be difficult if it was very rainy. We were also near the front of the campground so it was noisy so close to the main road. Not much you can do about that. Everything was clean.

We weren't pleased that they messed up our reservations and wanted one of us [we were with another couple]to pack up and move spots for our last night there. So we both ended up leaving a day early

Very few full hookups and they are in a field with no trees. The other options are nicely wooded. Very nice pool.

Great location for all the sight seeing in Munising. ATV trail is right off the campground so that was awesome too. Friendly staff. Quick response to emergency situation that occurred during our stay.

This KOA is in a great location. Good amenities long store hours and lots of shade. Would definitely recommend!

We were without power for 2 hours and did not get notified about what was happening or why until we called in, and then we were told different things about when we could expect to have power again. And no compensation was offered to us for the inconvenience. Also, the womens’ showers and bathroom area was not very clean.

We are sorry to hear there was some confusion on when the power would return. Unfortunately, the power down from 8-9:30pm was an accident and out of our control, and needed to be fixed by the power company.

Stayed 2 nights August 2022. Our site was private and quiet. The showers were clean with plenty of hot water. The internet was not great.

my site was very large had a slope but was fine, i did need the wifi for work purposes which was next to none, i really wish they would upgrade the wifi, i know its not a Camping need, but in this case i did, but all in all it worked out, the pool was nice, we did have a nice shaded site also. we will go back for sure. they was very helpful when we asked questions also thanks

Location is outside of Munising Michigan. The site we had was a little / lot muddy…. Very tight backing into space. Did not use facilities. Very very loud neighbors until midnight.

Choose your site carefully! We chose a full hookup, back in site. Sites 1 - 6 are closer to the highway than they are to the main road. There is little to no segregation between the sites. By comparison, the back in sites in the campground are beautiful! Well shaded, big sites. Check the map out in advance and choose your site. Avoid the noise and dust by choosing a site at the back.

Campground was very well laid out, nice sites, clean bathhouse, lots of hot water for showers. Good location for lake superior activities. Steve was exceptionally helpful, friendly, & professional.

Great, easy to access location. Clean bathrooms. Hot showers. Nice heated pool. Cement slab and hoop for basketball. Volleyball court. Sprinklers on the lawn. That all equals a great campground for families!

While I enjoyed my stay, the grounds need attention. More gravel would eliminate the muddy leftovers from rain prior to my stay. I found the water pressure an issue but the showers were awesome!

It was a good location for our first time at Pictured Rock area. The campground was good, but not very big lots. The restrooms need to be cleaned more often and it would help to have more showers in each restroom with this large of a campground.

It was easy to book the camping spot. The facilities were clean and convenient. The whole family enjoyed staying there, especially with the pool and making friends. Great place.

The fact that there are 3 showers for men & women is crazy and one of them had no lock on the door. They clean only 12-2 pm so That’s 22 hours with no cleaning. The shower curtains need to be burned. Full of germs and mold. You let dogs in but don’t enforce the owners to control the barking and we & others were woken up very early to non-stop barking.

We appreciate the feedback and are sorry to hear that the dogs were barking, if you had let the office know we could have talked to the guests. The restrooms are deep cleaned at that time but we check them several times and do a light clean as needed.

Overall, a good stay. I would say the showers could have been WAY better. Very small and definitely not the nicest we've ever had camping. I would say bathrooms should be cleaned twice a day especially when there is only ONE women's and ONE men's for the entire campground as at the Munising KOA. Our back-in site was fine. Perhaps a little crowded in these types of sites.

Very clean well laid out campground. Staff is excellent especially the young man working the office griu ds and cleaning bathrooms all in the same day due to staff shortages. He was helpful

Check in was super easy. The kids loved the park, outdoor toys, and pool. The lots had lots of tree cover. Bathrooms and showers were fantastic. Close to Munising and an hour drive to other places to explore.
