We really enjoyed our stay & were impressed w/ Munising KOA! The front desk employees were friendly & helpful with sightseeing ideas. We needed to switch camp spots (our error) and they were very accommodating. The laundry facilities were clean & I like that they are available 24/7. Their Pictured Rocks/Great Lakes shirts are super cute! It’s a great location (close to town) & easy to find!

Sites in front of office are full hook ups but not shaded and are noisy due to highway, esp rumble strip noise and trucks. Mosquitos were extremely bad. They do try to spray camp grounds. One local said Mosquitos this year were the worst they've seen. Clean campground. Showers were small but well kept. Very nice staff. We stayed 5 nights.

make sure you know if you are getting a pull through with sewer, water, electric. A number of their pull throughs are electric/water only.

This is a nice campground. However, this is an awful KOA. KOA is what we pay the extra cost for knowing we are getting a family fun campground. This KOA was just a spot to park and plug in, nothing more. The playground was bare bones equipment from the late 70's era. The pool was circa 1960's (and closed while we stayed in June). No activities for kids, and the store had almost nothing in it.

It not a bad campground and has clean bathrooms. The tent site I was given backed up to the property next door and all their wood chopping equipment it wasn't very private and the road noise was really loud. Other than when I checked in or bought ice the hosts weren't really around. Close to Munising and Pictured rock area so a good location, but could be more!

Was a nice Camp Ground .Was disapointed that the Pool was not open. Felt like there was a little price gouging on a few things. 4 split pieces of wood for 5 dollars. and gift shop prices were high. Check out was to early. most campgrounds are at 1 pm .yours 11 am. this is not a hotel. not time to pack up a camp site and cook breakfast , shower. We felt quite rushed. That said the Staff was nice.

We appreciate the feedback. Our pool isn't advertised to open until June 24. We are currently painting the pool area and the weather has been cool. Sorry to hear that you still felt rushed after allowing a late check-out of noon for you.

Well it was a place to camp , the office people were very nice and helpful , however the grounds were clean but we've been to a few other KOAs and they were much more visually appealing , the give guided escorts to sites , trash pick up 2 times a day . And had much more amenities.. even though we knew there were few .what we seen was not open to use. Or was 10 min of fun then back to camp

If you use the directions on THEIR website, you won't get there. If you type in the address into WAZE, you won't get there. Had to stop at another campground to get directions. Everyone we talked to had same problem. Once there, staff friendly. Restrooms, showers immaculate with lots of hot water. Pool and playground for kiddos. Verizon worked fine convenient to local attractions.

Beautiful campground. Excellent service at front desk. Wifi was spotty. This was a reoccurring issue at several KOAs. Today's campers require wifi for streaming and online uses. Campgrounds need to provide quality wifi service

We had a very pretty site. Very pleasant staff and easy to get in and out with our rig and the Jeep in tow.

The gentleman checking us in was very friendly, helpful, polite, and professional. Bathrooms and showers were clean and the campground was well maintained. We especially appreciated the larger spacing between campsites!

By far the nicest KOA we have been to. After fighting mosquitoes at Sand Point, we abandoned our campground and called the KOA in Munisign. Erin was great and booked us into sites 61 & 62, electric back in sites for our camper vans. They had just fogged the campground so very few mosquitoes. The showers and bathrooms were clean. We were close to Munisign Falls and to town. Great stay.

Site was ok; however, the picnic table on Site #6 needs to be replaced. Lots of mosquitos! Pool unfortunately wasn't open yet as it was very hot and being after Memorial Day Weekend we were disappointed it wasn't open for the kids to swim. Our site was right by the road so it was very noisy. Location was close to area attractions so good place to base out of.

The bathrooms and showers were super clean, and the staff was really helpful when we were looking for things to do, and places to eat. Planning on coming to this campground again!

We are disappointed second year in a row our lot was messed up. Last year someone was in our spot and they gave us a different one. This year we paid for a pull through lot in May, The office girl gave us a back in lot. You people need to need to read your reservation more closely. Sorry to say we will not be back.

Mosquitoes! Swarms of mosquitoes everywhere. We did appreciate that they sprayed the campground once, but the swarms are back within 12hrs.

We’ve camped for several years and have property up north but the mosquitoes here were ridiculous!! I understand we were camping but it was outrageous! We couldn’t even enjoy the outdoors this weekend. The mosquitoes were insane, we had to sprint to the bathroom. No fires, no games, no bbq, etc. Not one site was up hanging out at night on on 5/29.

Steve, the front desk person was very friendly and helpful. The campground is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. However, there are not enough number of washers and dryers. Also, we happened to get there when there was a horrific infestation of mosquitoes. In our 40 years of camping we had never seen anything like it. The campground was totally unusable.

Half of the staff was wonderful, the other half seemed irritated to be staff. Bathrooms were clean and nice. For the price the campsite should have definitely been more “maintained” overall a “good” campground.

We showed up after a nearly 4 hour drive and the employee said she had bad and good news. She stated our site is occupied by people who will not leave, so we need to choose another site. Choosing another site was the good news. No, those people need to leave and they need to choose a new site! After finally getting to our site to set up at 7pm!! We still had to pay! MOSQUITOES WERE TERRIBLE! UGH:(

Wonderful stay! Very nice friendly staff, very clean, and just enjoyable. Minor but worth adding are two items that would have been nice to have. One, the swimming pool open for memorial day weekend. But we understand too. Second would be some sort of band on music outside of the trailers, cabins, and tents. The persons next to us played thumping stereo music. Annoying! Oh well.

We plan this trip For 8 or 9 months A family trip with my children and grandchildren was very much looking forward to the pool that was supposed to be included got there on Friday they said it was. Going to be a few days before the pool was opened so we never had access to the pool. The mosquitoes were horrindus the whole time, my smallest granddaughter had to stay in the camper

A tad confusing getting around to the camp site. We had a great stay, the host was very accommodating, the entire camp grounds were well maintained, very nice shower house and laundry room.

Your shower and laundry facilities were clean and well functioning. As a rustic campsite user, I have a suggestion. Because tents do not block sound at all locating the campsite on the side facing the road and close to garbage dumpsters meant subjecting us to a lot of noise.

Nice quiet campground. The only issue we had was the power wasn't working at our site. We were moved to another site with no issue. Fortunately power is one if the first things I check when setting up so it was pretty simple to move sites

The office was extremely helpful! Told us where to buy the best pasties and the best places for hiking the falls. And where to buy groceries! Bathrooms were always super clean!
