Wow, this was our first time staying at Pichaco KOA Journey. Check in staff was wonderful and one of the cleanest parks I’ve stayed in. It was so well maintained, it was obvious the pride taken by the staff to keep the park looking pristine. Thank you so much for such a wonderful night stay. We’ll be back.

Love this campground! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the grounds are immaculate. Our site number 44 has a huge dog run. Very secure. The biggest I’ve ever seen at an RV park. We didn’t have the right electrical hook up for our site and the owner lent us the necessary equipment free of charge. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone we know.

Fairly austere campground but exceeds adequate. Great place for an overnight stay. Restrooms clean and good hot water. Women that checked me in was excellent. She stayed late as I didn’t arrive by the time office closed. Would stay here again traveling through the area.

Clean, well kept. Friendly and helpful young lady at the front desk. She led us to our campsite and made sure everything was in order. We will definitely stay here again.

Staff was friendly. It was okay for overnight stay. However there was noise all night long from the nearby interstate and train.

Was disappointment, that we were not told the price of spot we were being put into, only told that she know where to put us. On arrival, office was closed and only found out the next day, that we were in premium set, which we didn’t need.

Staff was very nice but the park seems a little tired. Looks like it has seen better days. Example: pool and playground. The far end of the park also has some trashy storage of trailers and campers.

Very Nice and Well Kept KOA. Secluded Out in the Desert Between Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona. Highly Recommend Staying Here for an Overnight or a Few Days. Staff Where Excellent! Will Be Back in The Future!

The staff and area was very warm and welcoming. The only thing that could be improved was the pup pens at each site are gravel. That’s not very comfortable for puppy feet to walk on or to lay down.

The owner and her staff are attentive, friendly, and sincere. They make sure their "campers" are happy and well-taken-care-of. This KOA is spacious! Each site has plenty of room with wide driving lanes. Extra care has been taken to minimize dust with gravel roads, concrete patios, and protective fences placed strategically throughout the campground. Every site is level and well-maintained.

This was my favorite KOA so far, and I’ve stayed at a lot. The people were so nice to work with and helpful. The lots were all flat and very well maintained. The laundry room was incredibly clean.

A great stop! Clean, mostly quiet (there’s a train track near by) and affordable. Customer service is outstanding and they are so helpful and accommodating. We will be back!

Very friendly staff, well maintained campground, nice dog park. There is freeway noise, can't do much about that. Otherwise perfect. Will stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in our cabin. We felt that the amenities were very basic. The pool wasn't working while we were there and the power was off overnight on our last stay and morning. We realize this is out of the control of the staff but there were no staff around to enquire what the issue was. Otherwise it was a nice clean campground. Good for a stay while on the way to your destination.

Employee’s helpful and camping in a very good condition. Again KOA will have to review their prices, it’s to expensive for this time of the year and we can easily find camping’s in the this area for less money.

Our electrical pedestal had problems and our electricity kept going out all night. We were sent over a man named Mike who said he was a electrician and said our 350$ surge protector was broken. It wasn’t and it kept shutting off our electricity because the surges there were bad. We took to CWorld and it’s working fine. We came out of our way to stay there but probably won’t do that again���

Everything was just fine. Checking was great, the grounds keeper showing us our spot, etc., right up to the power going out in the morning. Not sure what happened there but I'm assuming that is not a regular occurrence. Will definitely go there again!

The park was nice but when leaving I accidentally went out the in entrance and the guy chewed me out for it. I told him on a nice park they have it all he did was tell me I went out the wrong way and there is nobody else around. I felt it was very unnecessary but anyways it was a nice park.

The park was about 75% empty and we were placed at the end of a row with two other RV, side by side!!! Dumbest move we have ever seen!!! Especially since there was numerous other spots with concrete patios, our was bare ground!! Plus, the site is next to numerous horses being kept there. Park was rated with shade trees, not where we were!!

We stayed here two overnight stops. Once on our way to Tucson and on our way back north. Both times it was great. Nice pull through sites and clean bathrooms. They loaned us a 50/30 adapter too. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wifi was ok too. The only problem was their propane service was down. No biggie though. We definitely would recommend them.

Just a few tips for the dog run in #44: If you put pickets on the front, It would be cooler. My dogs wouldn't sit on the rocks, so a patch of artificial turf in the front would help that. And something to block the sun, probably a partial roof over the turf. Otherwise appreciated the personal run. Nice clean campground. Not many RV's in park while we were there in October. Loved the site.

Stayed 1 night. Staff very friendly and helpful. Walked the dog throughout the park and found it very clean and maintained. Utilized the bathhouse and everything was clean and serviceable. Located not far off I-10, there is some road noise, but Park is easily accessible. Would stay again.

We always stop here in our Class A, towing a vehicle. I reserve on the KOA website. We avoid arriving around noon as owner and family close for lunch. When pulling in, it can get congested at entrance, if a few RV's are all arriving at same time. Walk in, give your name and they give you a site map and an escort to your reserved spot. 3 minutes tops. Nice people, good service. We've been staying here since before the new owners a few years ago. We're in good hands with these owners! Clean restrooms. SEVERAL Big showers. Laundry. Mini-market. Otherwise Elroy is just a few Mile's before this KOA.

Clean campground with fabulously friendly staff. Good WiFi and laundry facilities and perfect spot for an overnight or extended stay to visit the many nearby historic & natural attractions.
