The Bay Harbor Vintage Car and Boat Festival kicks off the summer in Bay Harbor with a fantastic collection of classic cars and wooden boats. The highlight of Vintage Weekend is the Parade of Vintage Cars and Display of Vintage Boats, held Saturday starting at 10:00 am, and followed by the awards ceremony at 2:30 pm. The parade is free to the public!
Sailboats from across the U.S. head to Harbor Springs each summer for one of the nation's best-known sailing traditions: the LTYC “Ugotta” Regatta. Hosted by the Little Traverse Yacht Club, the Ugotta brings some of the best sailboat racers in the country to sail in one of the world's best sailing venues in Little Traverse Bay. The Ugotta Regatta takes place annually the weekend following the second of the Mackinac Races (Port Huron-Mackinac, Chicago-Mackinac).
Join the Top O' Michigan Outboard Racing Club (Tomorc) this August for the 69th Annual Marathon. Over two days of exciting and tough outboard racing in Northern Michigan. The course navigates through 87 miles of Northern Michigan's beautiful Inland Waterway. Registration will be Friday, August 11th, from 5 to 8 pm at the race pits. Register also on Saturday, 8-9 AM at the race pits.
