We stopped here for the night on our way home and what a wonderful place to park. We have stayed at other KOA,s and some were dumps but these folks are the best of the best. Views were outstanding, noise next to none. Highly recommend this park

Nice park with friendly and helpful staff. Always stay on our way south in the fall and in the spring on the way back north.

Just overnight,but the park was clean, nicely laid out and pretty quiet ( except for early to work workers), The dog park was great and the vending machines were handy !!! Had a very nice stay with the front desk being very helpful and friendly !! We are going to try hard to return for a longer stay !!

Super friendly and helpful woman working in the office! The park is very clean and for once we didn't need our leveling blocks.

We stayed overnight. It was clean, with nice grass in the spot. The attendants were friendly!

Our spot was definitely not worth $65/night. It was gravel, small, and very uneven. The hookups are not located in logical areas - needed full length of power cord to reach and two hoses to connect water. The place feels more like a mobile home park then a recreational spot.

Extremely friendly staff, very well maintained with beautiful views from each of the sites. Laundry facilities were clean and used quarters, which the office was happy to provide. The city of Pendleton, OR.we absolutely fell in love with. Especially the beautiful 5mile paved river walk. Our Sadie loved the walk. Our only negative on this KOA was the lack of grass to walk our dog. We'll be back!

Both Kana, the lady that checked us in, and the gentleman in the golf cart that helped back us into our spot were amazing! They chitchatted with us, we felt welcomed and will definitely be coming back for a longer stay.

Stayed here several times over the years. This one was great, just like all the others. We were just traveling through. We didn't want to disconnect to get a back in with a view, but we got a pull-through with a view over the dog park section. Excellent!

Very pet friendly staff; we enjoyed bringing our dog in the office each morning for a treat. Bathrooms were pretty clean, which we appreciated. The fenced-in dog area left something to be desired. Doubt that the artificial turf would be easier to maintain than grass and we were concerned the turf would harbor bacteria.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

After years of trying everything in the book (reseeding, re-sodding, chemical treatments, etc) to keep grass alive, we're actually really pleased with this (antimicrobial!) turf, designed specifically for dog parks. (Living here in the high desert, water conservation is a consideration as well... ;)

We appreciate the availability of staying one night at KOA. Too many RV camp resorts are full of full timers living year round, there were a lot at the Pendleton KOA but at least they keep sites open for others!!!

We stayed at the Pendleton KOA Journey in April with a large 5th wheel. We didn't expect to find a pool, spa or other amenities. Pros: *Easy to find and access from I-84. *Quick check in with reservation. *Has a small store on site; propane available *Road was paved; turns were easy to make *Beautiful view from our level concrete site *Tow vehicle parking space at the site *Nice, new wooden picnic table at the site *Clean park and QUIET at night *Pet friendly; has a doggie park *Really nice, caring 'people oriented' managers *Cable TV was clear and good; hook ups were good Cons: *Tight sites (if your RV/trailer is long and/or has slides on both sides) *Long grass & weeds at sites *Too many 'long term' RV-ers *There were wooden 'porches' stored in the way across from our site so we struggled backing into it. Rehooking and pulling out was okay. This park is really nice for a night or two stop over, but because of the 'long term' RV-ers, we personally wouldn't stay longer than that. One of the nicest 'Journey' category KOAs we've stayed at. Recommend reservations ahead of time if possible.

Very nice park. Level sites with great views. Staff is friendly. Best little dog park. Only here two nights, but this goes on our favorites list. Highly recommend.
