The people that work here are awesome. The sites are less than desirable for big rigs. It was clean. Alot of long term campers. Nice overnight stop for smaller rigs.

The handicap bathroom very helpful. Like the new all in one private shower rooms. View great. Facility showed that staff wants to present campground well.

Very nice facility. Large majority appeared to be long term residents, but the sites were neat and tidy and well kept. No mobile home appearance at all.

The Park is older but well kept. It was full but relatively quiet. Campsites are quite close together but we knew that going in. Park staff was pleasant and were able to give us an additional day, when we requested it.

We arrived early in the morning (about 830am) with NO reservation, and were given a space and treated very well. Was a great experience and hope to stay there again sometime!

Small campground with wonderful view on the valley. There is no pool, little grass and little shade. That is the reason we left early. It was too hot, and no way to cool off.

you have the next space sewer connection plumbed to the area next to the table and grass area. didn't hookup my sewer up because of location to neighbors table.

Tight to maneuver large rigs. Had to back out of premier space because not enough room to pull forward and make the turn. Water and electric on opposite side of RV. My volt meter showed 105 volts. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We arrived @ 2 pm on the 27th. Very courteous check-in and instructions were thorough. Much of downtown Pendleton tourist spots and shops were closed. This put a damper on the ability to explore. We were able to pick up a cancellation so we could stay one more night. On Thursday, we were able to make reservations for Underground and visit the places we wanted to see. Thank you.

Everything was great with one exception. I could not get cable tv to work at sight #53. It could have been something on my end since this was the first time we used this trailer.

Bathrooms were clean and convenient; however, the campground was a little crowded for us. The location was very good and convenient to downtown.

It was great to get a site for one night as we traveled down the road. Everything was clean and available. Downside, no swimming pool in a hot weather area.

We were disappointed that our site was quite sloped. We have a 40 foot 5th wheel and I was not able to get it off the truck due to the angle. Also, we the water pressure was seemingly high. To the point that it blew my water line. I will say that could have been caused by a faulty water regulator. Although, it had been working fine for the last 4 weeks. Probably will stay at the casino next time.

This is the only KOA we've stayed in that is dirty and not well managed. The dog area smells and I'm sure the artifical turf is in need of cleaning. Being parked close by is not a pleasant experience. We booked two different stays, outbound and return, at this location so we honored the second one after having completed the first night but we will not book at this KOA again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I won't argue with your feeling that it's "not well managed"--but in defense of my terrific crew, I must protest that "dirty" is one thing this park is not! It's an older park, the facilities may be dated and the sites smaller than we'd wish--but we all take pride in keeping it clean & maintained!

Wife and I have stayed at RV parks all over the West. Pendleton Journey KOA is the best we've seen. Everything works-- beautiful concrete parking aprons, spectacularly clear cable TV with many channels, Wifi that's simple to connect to and with strong signal, and beautiful, clean and well-maintained bathrooms and showers. I would give them six stars if I could.

We were greeted by a smiling receptionist who was eager to help us. The restrooms and showers were spotless. The view from our space was beautiful and the space was well kept. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

The covered wagon was so much fun to stay in! It’s set up perfectly to provide afternoon shade over the “yard,” so even when the wagon heated up in the sun, the campsite was pleasant to hang out in. Cari was an excellent host and great to talk to. I loved the check-in pamphlet with local information and restaurant recommendations.

Best cable TV we have ever experienced. Dog park a little small but no complaints from our dogs.

We stayed at the Pendleton KOA Journey in April with a large 5th wheel. We didn't expect to find a pool, spa or other amenities. Pros: *Easy to find and access from I-84. *Quick check in with reservation. *Has a small store on site; propane available *Road was paved; turns were easy to make *Beautiful view from our level concrete site *Tow vehicle parking space at the site *Nice, new wooden picnic table at the site *Clean park and QUIET at night *Pet friendly; has a doggie park *Really nice, caring 'people oriented' managers *Cable TV was clear and good; hook ups were good Cons: *Tight sites (if your RV/trailer is long and/or has slides on both sides) *Long grass & weeds at sites *Too many 'long term' RV-ers *There were wooden 'porches' stored in the way across from our site so we struggled backing into it. Rehooking and pulling out was okay. This park is really nice for a night or two stop over, but because of the 'long term' RV-ers, we personally wouldn't stay longer than that. One of the nicest 'Journey' category KOAs we've stayed at. Recommend reservations ahead of time if possible.

Very nice park. Level sites with great views. Staff is friendly. Best little dog park. Only here two nights, but this goes on our favorites list. Highly recommend.
