We had a great time staff was wonderful especially at the camp store. Cottage was clean and comfortable, stocked with everything we needed and the view was tremendous. Beautifully landscaped and maintained.

I loved the campground!! The grounds were extremely neat and tidy ( not a blade of grass out of place )the deluxe cabin I stayed in was also very clean and cute just perfect for one person and a dog . The only negative I could come up with was the water pressure in the shower could have been stronger but I definitely will give this koa 4.5 star!!!

Loved the cabin. It was very clean nd cherry with the light coloring. The outdoor furniture qa a comfortable and enjoyable.the entire facility was extremely well maintained. We plan on returning next year.

Cabin was incredible. Kitchen amazing. Hangers in half closet fell off when anything was put on them. Need more hooks to hang clothes on.

The cabin was neat, nicely furnished, very comfy. The grounds were great especially the nature trail to the fishing pond. It make for a great walking place with my large dog. The store was nice, and I especially enjoyed the ice cream. All staff were pleasant and friendly. Overall, a great stay.

The site was simply gorgeous. We have a waterfront cottage and it was so peaceful and serene. All the buildings I visited were clean and the staff was professional.

We always like going to this campground and have been here on several occasions. Overall, our stays are enjoyable. We have noticed, however, that the cabins are not being cleaned properly between tenants, and minor repairs need to be made (ex. blinds are broken/bent). We also noticed that the screens and doors have been removed from the cottages. We have concerns about how bugs will be addressed.

It was amazing! The campground is wonderful, kid friendly, quiet, clean, and has beautiful views of the sound. Our family was very sad when we had to leave. I would come back again and again! The staff is friendly and extremely helpful, such a great campground!

This has become one of our favorite spots for a get-away. Beautiful views of the Currituck Sound, a spacious and quiet campground, and a quick ride to the Outer Banks makes for a pleasant stay. Sunrise from the porch of a water view cabin never disappoints. Grocery stores, shopping, and good restaurants are also just a few minutes away. We highly recommend this campground.

This was our first "camping" experience and I must say that it was everything that I needed it to be. The staff was absolutely amazing at both check in and check out. Very friendly and welcoming. Being that it was just my daughter and I, I was very comfortable with the area. The grounds were very clean and nicely setup. The view, OMG was absolutely gorgeous!!! There's so much more to say but......

The weather was awful , but the campground and staff were amazing and very friendly. Will most definitely be returning, our new favorite KOA campground. Thank you for making our stay as enjoyable as possible.

we stayed at a kamping cabin that was furnished. we found the bathtub/shower very small and hard to properly bathe, it would be nice to have a bigger bathroom area as it was uncomfortable and tub was dangerously high to get in and out. it would be nice to have handles on the tub area. we are just a couple with a dog and it worked fine for us . plenty of room to walk around and a dog park too.

We booked a waterfront cabin for a few days so we could vacation with some friends who have their own campers. The cabin was cozy and clean and had all the comforts of home. I would definitely book again.

We absolutely love the campground and it is one of our favorites- We will be back in the summer. We had to leave early on April 9th instead of the 10th but it had nothing to do with the campsite or accommodations. We had our dishwasher flood our kitchen and we had to get back to meet with the contractor on Monday. Lorraine and Cliff

It's a very nice quiet place. two things that we don't like was the master bedroom bed. It is not comfortable. Secondly, no linen and towels provided. It's too much for a guest to bring their own linen. Supposed to be a vacation, no need to worry or bring anything. Vacation or a weekend getaway supposed to be a relaxing vacation, especially for the price the customer paid.

Office staff (Christine and Christina) were so wonderful and accommodating!! We had issues with our heat in the cabin and although it wasn’t really fixed (no one’s fault) they were so kind about it and offered us a discount on our next stay. The grounds are clean, and everyone so friendly! Our cabin was beautiful and looked brand new! We will definitely come back! Absolutely beautiful area!

We had a great time. Only negative was the weird bugs (not mosquitos but midges or ??) The cabins had Screen porches on the website photos, if those were still there to keep them from all flying inside every time the door opened, it would have been perfect! Kids loved the bounce pad and playground and pedal car track, we were unfortunately too early in the season for paddleboards and canoes!

Heat didn’t work the first night. We froze with the wind coming off the sound. Notified them to come look at it. Guy just turned breaker off and on. Didn’t work. Next couple days were hot and ac didn’t work either. Store open very short hours. 10-6. Check in lodge was closed at four day of our arrival. No activities for a spring break week. Left a bit to be desired.

I had never stayed at a KOA before, to my knowledge. I was honestly surprised at the organization and cleanliness of the property. The campgrounds/cabin had everything we needed or wanted right there on site, not to mention the gorgeous views from the waterfront cabins! We are recommending this campground to everyone we know and we are already planning trips to come back and stay again!

It was a much needled place to relax. Cabin was very comfortable and clean. The porch with the view of the sound was beautiful and peaceful. The staff was great. Looking forward to go again.

We were there for the 1st responders weekend. My wife and I had a water front cabin. This was no cabin, it was like a mini home. We had the best view of the sound. The store was great, as was the breakfast sandwich. A little pricey for the size. But the personal pizza my daughter got was huge. Incredible value. Will definitely have to return.

My stay was excellent,the staff was very friendly and helpful. I stayed in a cabin with one issue:The mini split gave me an error code "E7" and I believe the 2 units were linked in some way so they did not work every well. One other issue is I could not find much information on the cabins themselves on the KOA website. Was not sure what I could/should bring (besides linen) or what was provided.

OBX KOA is our favorite local place to say! The staff is so friendly and awesome. You can't beat the views and the location is perfect for remote work with free wifi!

The facility is very nicely kept. The cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable, the only problem we had, was there was ZERO TV and the staff seemed disinterested in dealing with the issue. The kitchen could use a few extra items, such as pots and pans, bowls, spare dishes, generally a little more stocking of basic kitchen items. Other than that, we'd stay there again!

Most of the time there are No issues I have stayed there 6-7 times this past year..Although we don’t get to enjoy most of the amenities we still enjoy it. This past weekend was a little different idk if it was because you’re closing down for the season. First cabin we went to Heaters weren’t working had to be transferred then once we got settled vinyl the other cabin realized there was No Tv

The staff here are very friendly, available and helpful. We came with the grand kids and even though it was a little chilly there was plenty for us to do. The grounds and cabin we stayed in are very well kept. Enjoyed our mini vaca in Currituck!

Beautiful place. They have everything you need to recharge. My husband and I stayed here before some races. We really enjoyed it. We were here during the week, so we didn't get to go in the store. It looked like it had some cool stuff.
