Everyone was so nice but unfortunately the smell from the horses was so overwhelming we ended up leaving and finding a different campground to stay at.

My first time staying at a KOA & I chose this location for my bday getaway. We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the bathrooms & told the staff how appreciative I was with the upkeep. Front desk staff was very friendly with all interactions I had with them. The staff driving the carts were very hospitable as well. Only negative is the distance from home, wish it was clo

I was disappointed to see that the tent sites now only have room for one tent. I was with a family of 5 people and we were not going squeeze into one tent. KOA helped find a site we could squeeze into, but we may not return in the future. We have enjoyed KOA Ouray for the last 4 years, but the new change was less than enjoyable.

The bathrooms were great - never had to wait and always clean. The staff was also very kind and helpful. Our tent site was nice, however neighbors were loud at night and in the early morning. Overall would definitely stay again, and hopefully just get a site more on an edge.

Great quiet campground with plenty of space and a good crowd. Beautiful place. Workers are fast, nice and efficient. Had a great time but just stayed for overnight between destinations. Thanks!!!

The hot tub was broken. The heaters in the bathrooms didn't work. Everything was overpriced. The dirt road made everything absolutely filthy that they had me camped beside. The staff would let their personal dogs run around off their leashes at random times. All in all not a good experience!!

Our tent site was immaculate and very large! We were close to many amenities, but yet still far enough away from town for it to be quiet and peaceful. There was a bath house in the upper section, but also bathrooms and showers down near the office. They offer some recreational activities, including horseback riding, which we did. Restaurant on site had delicious options. I would stay again!!

This was our second time at this KOA and we love it. The staff is so friendly, bathrooms are always clean, and lots to do. Last year, we stayed on a tent site and it was great. This year they are making changes and adding beds of mulch where the tents are to be set up. Let me just say what a huge difference. Slept so good. Could do without the kids screaming at 7am but over all great!

Overall, our stay was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Even with the projects getting done around camp, everything was clean and taken care of. The only suggestion I have is for the bathrooms in the back sections of camp to have vacant/occupied locks on them. It was really difficult to know when stalls were open or not. Other than that, great place to stay!

We had a 5 day camping trip around South West Colorado and stayed at multiple places, Ouray KOA by far is my favorite, staff are super friendly and helpful, facility is clean and nice also there is actually some space between spots and you are not sleeping right next to the neighbor. Overall great experience and will recommend to anyone needing to camp around Ouray.

Good space. Would rather be closer to the trees but the early morning greetings of the horses were fun too. Staff were helpful and responsive especially in handling noisy customers. Definitely needs upgrading in some facilities but as it is, the staff makes up for it.

This was a nice place to stay to camp at much reduced rate than lodging. There were somewhat limited options for camping around Ouray. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a visitor from Alabama in a white truck in a camping cabin who left his dog, which howled and barked for about an hour straight until he returned which was very disruptive for most of the campground.

Park was nice and well kept. We stayed in low season and first sight assigned was no where near possible to park our overland tent trailer. Second place had a tree right in the middle of the spot? Wtf? It was located 50 feet from the hoarse pen and piles of what horses do…… for the life of me why assign such a “crappy” spot to any one with a campground 25% capacity? Bathrooms were clean!

They originally put us in a tent site right next to a horse stall. There were at least 5 (if not more) other sites for tents available. They did switch us when I complained. Showers were nice and hit. But the place was just too crowded. RV’s on top of one another, not enough room/privacy between sites. Price for tent site was extremely high. I’ll stay in BLM or state park next time.

We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, the playground and saying hi to the horses. At check in, they even remembered me from the last time I stayed there. Great stay all around!

Truly one of the best commercially-operated camping experiences I have ever had! Wonderful, helpful staff. This KOA camp has exceptional amenities including clean, well-kept bathrooms and showers, manicured grounds, and adequate space between sites. But, also a GREAT restaurant! Truly a treasure in the KOA inventory- we'll be back!

The stay was great! We stayed in June and returned in Sept. Great location and staff, only concern would be staffing, office closing at 5pm was a little bit of a bummer but we understand that staffing levels were low. Will be back in 2023! See you soon!

The stay was very good; and facilities were well taken care of; however the expectation that the restaurant facilities would be open was not realized. I feel that the cost of the site is indicative of the resources that one would expect to be available during their stay, and when those resources are not available, the pricing should reflect a discount based on those resources not being available.

People were blasting music and being loud until 1am, no quiet hour enforcement. They fit 4 campsites into what should have been 1 campsite - we had 2 tents from the strangers next to us within 10 feet of us. I have camped almost every weekend in the summer since I was a child, and this was, hands down, the worst camping experience I've ever had. $80 a night is INSANE.

Very good stay. Staff were very professional. I would suggest two things. First, consider some small number of ground lights for people to make it to the restrooms. And put a light on the restroom so you can see your way to it at night. Otherwise a great stay.

Arrived late on Labor Day weekend, no reservation. Needed trees for 3 hammocks. The woman working the desk went WAY above and beyond and was able to switch some sites around to get us a site for the entire weekend. She was absolutely awesome and not only that but genuinely happy to help me. The campground was packed for Labor Day as is to be expected but the facilities were kept respectable.

I have stayed at this KOA about 20 times for a week or more at a time over the last 40 + years tenting. I have seen the ownership change 3 - 4 times. The personnel are very nice, helpful, very pleasant people. I have eaten at the restaurant and it was very good. The bathhouse in the back tenting area needs to be improved.

It was the worst camping experience I’ve ever had and I camp a lot!! Those were NOT camp sites and KOA should be ashamed to steal money from people. Everyone around the “camp site” was feeling the same way. Glad I brought my backpacking tent because there was no room for my 4 man car camping tent.

We had a delux cabin since we were staying a whole week and I have zero complaints. The Cabin was perfect for my wife and I. The price was much cheaper than hotels in town and I would take my own cabin over that any ways.

Our RV club spent 5 days at the Ouray KOA amid the most splendid scenery imaginable. The staff could not have been more accommodating to our needs and the rest room facilities were spotless. I believe the management has changed recently because everyone in our group oof 30 trailers was very pleased with their experience at Ouray. The sites were spacious and shaded.
