Unannounced closure and day/hour changes of operations for the on-site coffee house/restaurant. If I had known this in advance, I would have boondocked.

I have stayed in the Ouray KOA the last three years at the same spot. I stay a fully week with S A S group I stayed in site 61, the last two years there was a big grass field next to that spot !! This year there are 2 old beat looking travel trailers parked there with junk around & under them and two loud barking dogs and KOA Employees living there. This is in the Tent camping area, Bad Bad

3 night stay, different neighbors each night. 2 of the 3 neighbors plugged into my power pole while I was plugged in. 2 of the neighbors parked backwards in the site. Someone from koa should have caught all this and stopped the madness. Nerves wracked whole time there. Site was good and area was spectacular.

Campground was well-maintained and well staffed. Staff was friendly and out and about. Very nice bathrooms and showers. Only negative is distance from town, but we knew that before booking.

Being somewhat new to the campground world this was by far the best experience. People, service and facilities were great. Only wish the store/office was open later than 5:00pm

Love this campground! All the staff were great. Loved the music night. Mac is the BEST and the was fantastic. Hope to return in the near future.

Beautiful campground. Excellent restaurant for breakfast. The BBQ on Fridays and Saturdays is very good. They also rent Jeeps for climbing the trails, which worked great. The prices were competitive and the convenience was wonderful.

Wrong site, not kept with family, laundry 5 hour wait more non working than working machine, office personal did not care, promised upgraded site for sister then denied! Very expense, will not return!

We love KOA. We love Ouray and we want to love this campground. It is a beautiful campground but prices are high. For the high prices I would expect a bit better amenities. For example; the showers are ok, but usually full. Most specifically, six laundry machines and two dryers (that barely work). I spent three hours trying to get the laundry done instead of enjoying the evening we had there.

Of all the RV parks we've ever stayed in.... this was one of them. Not great; not terrible. The facilities leave much to be desired. Dryers that we not operating, restaurant that can't serve what is on the menu, toilet smells next to sites, large gravel on the roads and sites that are difficult to even walk on. Still, the location is good and the service isn't bad. Doubt we'll return, however.

Beautiful area, clean campgrounds and facilities! All employees were very friendly and helpful! Hope to visit again! One suggestion, place a shower stool or more hooks in the men's shower stalls.

Beautiful park, have stayed here before. During my time, there was a main water leak (no water) and every day multiple times my power tripped due to excessive use in the park. Caused someone to have to stay for pets. Things happen but no consideration for compensation.

4 out of 6 clothes dryers in the laundry were out of service and from the looks of the signs had been out of service for a while. Big wait to finish laundry. Got up at 5:00am to use a dryer. Things break but this looked like neglect.

1. We reserved a full hookup site. You gave us a water/electric only site. 2. The site was not to any KOA standards we have experienced in the past. 3. Staff was not interested in mitigated the errors. 4. We will never stay at this campground again. That’s a first for us.

The bathrooms were clean, but very busy. Could use another restroom. It is unbelievable that the store is closed at 5:00pm. It is difficult to get back from the day’s adventures to get ice and firewood by 5:00pm. Campground is nice and well maintained.

Our site, #41, was a joke. The most disappointing part was the banker’s hours the office kept. When you can’t check in until 3 and “last call” for wood and ice is at 4pm because the office is closing at 5pm, it’s ridiculous. Also, one neighbor camper arrived at 6pm and had zero help trying to get into their spot. If not for the paying customers, no one would have helped them get parked.

A great location for summer vacation. Only a few issues. Location of hot tub is awkward, and we went to join activities at the playground area, but no one was there. Love the area, loved renting a jeep there for some off road adventures! Staff was great, level sites, and text notifications were so convenient! Would stay again.

We accidentally forgot to finalize our reservation, but they took care of us and found us a great spot. We loved it. They were even kind enough to show us too sites before we made our descision.

Our site was a patch of gravel in full sun and right in front of the dump! The site we were given was not even printed on the KOA map, it was drawn on the map with marker!

Beautiful scenery. Very nice people at front desk and In restaurant. The laundry facilities were lacking. One dryer that worked well. One that blew only cold air and four others not working at all. Hopefully the dryers are fixed soon.

We had a lovely site beside a stream and a nice shade tree for the afternoon. The playground was a hit with the grandkids and a movie night was a fun surprise. The grounds were clean and well maintained. We highly recommend this RV park.

The Ouray KOA campground was the perfect location for home base as we traveled the local trails. We did have an issue with our site but it was quickly resolved by Jeff (Thank you!). We enjoyed out stay and will be back!

Lovely area of the state! The Ouray KOA is clean and orderly. There are some fun things for the kids to do. I do wish the office was open beyond 5pm.

Had a voltage problem at site 29, management was aware of it. I would have been glad to work with them had I known. Luckily my Mad Dog surge protector kept any serious problems to the RV. I was told I would receive a refund but have not seen anything on my MC account yet. Steve

Our trip started with being told our spot that we reserved was not going to be made available to us as there was apparently a $75 holding fee that no one mentioned during the booking, which was over the phone. The spot that we were eventually given then had a consistent sewer smell throughout the stay. Would not ever stay here again. The customer service of the staff was also deplorable.

They guided us into our site backwards and were going to leave us like that until we got the guys attention that we were backwards. Being 65 foot long, it was a challenge to get turned around. I witnessed customers reporting electrical issues. Your staff is very rude to customers regarding these problems, whispering obscenities when they don’t agree with customers.

We had a delux cabin since we were staying a whole week and I have zero complaints. The Cabin was perfect for my wife and I. The price was much cheaper than hotels in town and I would take my own cabin over that any ways.

Our RV club spent 5 days at the Ouray KOA amid the most splendid scenery imaginable. The staff could not have been more accommodating to our needs and the rest room facilities were spotless. I believe the management has changed recently because everyone in our group oof 30 trailers was very pleased with their experience at Ouray. The sites were spacious and shaded.
