We stayed for 4 nights in a camp trailer and the camp ground was so nice. The brick patio with a grill and chairs and tables with a comfy glider chair were great. The grounds were well taken care of. There were big dumpsters around for all the garbage. We didn't use the hot tub or have kids, but the play areas were super nice as was the gift shop. Great place to stay! Would definitely recommend!

The campground was nice and clean. It was also only 10 minutes from Ouray. However we traveled with another couple and it was problem after problem for them which makes me give the lower rating. The resturant was not open when it said it would be either and we were told they had a long day.

Dry dead grass covered the inside of our motor home after 3 nights at this KOA. What a mess.

The campground had limited amenities and as a childless couple we would have preferred not to be placed next to the playground (children running through our site). Tent site was small.

We had an enjoyable stay. Very convenient to have jeeps for rent right on the grounds to explore the Alpine loop.

It was nice and comfortable, however it was quite noisy as my camper cabin was next to the jump pad. I did not mind the children jumping and having fun as much as the air compressor's loud hum from day break to late dawn. After two days it was too much and I decided to leave a day early to seek peace and quiet. Other than that it was a very nice camp ground, especially the resturant. I will return

Over crowded and chaotic. Showers were dirty. Our site had bits of plastic and trash in it. Laundry facilities need maintenance. Out of five dryers only one was working. I was served a raw hamburger in your restaurant. The ladies in the front office were nice and helpful but one of your seasonal workers who lives in a fifth wheel and drives a brown truck with Montana plates was rude and unpleasant

We greatly enjoyed our stay. All the staff were wonderful. Our pet-friendly deluxe cabin accommodations were very comfortable, clean, & in working order. We also enjoyed the large deck & grill for cooking out !!!

I love everything about this campground: location was great, quiet, surrounded my mountains. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful; we loved talking to Gerry, he is an amazing person! Lots of activities for the kids too, all day long ! We will definitely be back next year!

A different experience from a year ago. They've added several daily activities geared toward children making it a family friendly stay. The staff is great. The office offers more items for sale. Good onsite restaurant. Many spots with shade. Our site was extremely tight. When extended, our awning was over the Class C next us & our doors faced eachother. We were practically bumping into eachother.

The campground was in a beautiful location and very well maintained. The bathrooms and laundry room were clean. There was a trail riding outfit that left from the campground, which was super convenient, and the young women in charge were very friendly, helpful, and competent. It was super convenient to get to town and other recreation from the KOA.

I was taking my friend camping for the first time and she loved getting to have an outdoor experience while still having modern luxuries like indoor bathrooms and showers. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect with great views and it is convenient to be so close to Ouray but still feel like you're not in town. We could even see the milky way at night! Awesome spot.

Tent site fees should consider the differences in quality/desirability of the individual sites. Sites should be made available on first come basis. Info (a map and picture(s) of the site) should be on the web site. Paying for an undesirable site (fortunately mine was changed) that was "computer generated" discourages customer loyalty. Some employees were very helpful and friendly.

First time for KOA experience! We loved our site (50). We loved the convenience of getting to other areas from this location . We loved the friendliness of the staff. A great experience!

We are seasoned travelers and this was the worst camping experience we have encountered. Unprofessional staff except for Amaryllis, she was exceptional. They had known power issues with a string of sites but failed to notify guests. We left for over 9 hours with pets in our RV and when we returned it was very hot in the RV. Neighbors on either side had issues as well. NONE OF US WERE NOTIFIED

Being a Drive-in, the Ouray accommodated us the best they could and with what was available without a reservation. We in no way expected the Presidential Suite spot, just a Bed to get a good night's sleep on spot. Which they set us up in for 2 nights in spot #58, mind you a 45' ToyHauler just doesn't fit everywhere, plenty of room to maneuver. The Staff was superior in their attitude and service.

Unannounced closure and day/hour changes of operations for the on-site coffee house/restaurant. If I had known this in advance, I would have boondocked.

I have stayed in the Ouray KOA the last three years at the same spot. I stay a fully week with S A S group I stayed in site 61, the last two years there was a big grass field next to that spot !! This year there are 2 old beat looking travel trailers parked there with junk around & under them and two loud barking dogs and KOA Employees living there. This is in the Tent camping area, Bad Bad

Showers in men's bathroom were not draining. Dirty water flooding showers area in 2 out of 4 shower stalls. New road design funnels vehicle traffic thru cabin and camping area, with dust and safety concerns. Office & store not open in the evening. Restaurant hours not adequate. Half of the washers & dryers in laundry room did not work

3 night stay, different neighbors each night. 2 of the 3 neighbors plugged into my power pole while I was plugged in. 2 of the neighbors parked backwards in the site. Someone from koa should have caught all this and stopped the madness. Nerves wracked whole time there. Site was good and area was spectacular.

Campground was well-maintained and well staffed. Staff was friendly and out and about. Very nice bathrooms and showers. Only negative is distance from town, but we knew that before booking.

Love this campground! All the staff were great. Loved the music night. Mac is the BEST and the was fantastic. Hope to return in the near future.

We had a delux cabin since we were staying a whole week and I have zero complaints. The Cabin was perfect for my wife and I. The price was much cheaper than hotels in town and I would take my own cabin over that any ways.

Our RV club spent 5 days at the Ouray KOA amid the most splendid scenery imaginable. The staff could not have been more accommodating to our needs and the rest room facilities were spotless. I believe the management has changed recently because everyone in our group oof 30 trailers was very pleased with their experience at Ouray. The sites were spacious and shaded. We have booked again for next..
