I do not recommend this location. I have never been treated with such complete disrespect. Specifically Frank at the front counter needs to be removed. After he was done harassing the person in front of us, he decided to go after us. The issue was escalated to management, and after promising to resolve the issue, we were instead very rudely insulted with a complete fabrication of the incident.

Site was a “buddy” site with very little room between. Had great neighbors so the experience was great. I could see it could be a problem if you had bad neighbors. Staff was excellent and so friendly. Loved the restaurant too. We will be back.

Store, restaurant, office and all services close at 5pm. No access for campers to anything they might need - firewood, food, snacks, books, planning help for the next day’s adventure. Tent sites 2’ from main gravel dirt road used by a 100 campsites everyday. 5mph not enforced. Tent sites too small for many larger tents. No ventilation in showers. $70/night in a tent??

We booked a 3 night stay and were put up against a fence on the side of the road with no place to sit outside. We kindly asked if we could move to another site and were told no. During our entire stay we saw several sites throughout the park that were never occupied. Other campers would walk by & ask us why would they put you there, with 3 slides & no room. Very disappointing experience:(

We had a great time there! My only gripe is that it was hard for kids to reach the sinks in the bathroom. Please consider adding stools under some of the sinks. At least one larger shower stall would also be helpful for parents who need to shower with their younger children.

I just wish you had a swimming pool instead of using the town facility. It would add a great refreshing quality to your campground. It was a great experience.

Weeds were so high in the campsite i had to cut them so they would stop scratching our legs. We were very disappointed in our location (P6), right by the entrance with 6 pole lights which shone in our bedroom window every night. We had asked for another site and they sent us to (44) that was occupied. Jimmy in the golf cart was the only person that was helpful and showed he cared about our stay.

The tent site 15 smelled like sewage periodically, frequently, our whole stay, only getting worse on Sunday into Monday. Our original tent spot was small and they were able to accommodate to a new site. The access to bathrooms was nice and the neighbors were kind. The bathrooms were dirty though, people had smeared mud on the walls of the showers and they weren’t cleaned often.

Night #1: Truck alarm went off 3 x's through night. #2: neighbor started cooking and partying at 10PM. #3: you decided to do movie night right next to my tent, starting at my bedtime, ending a little before 11PM. What happened to quiet time? This management team doesn't believe in it. #4: neighbor cranks car at 5AM until she leaves at 7:30. #5: went perfectly smooth. Too expensive for what you get

Found the staff very professional and friendly. Campground well maintained. Our cabin was very comfortable. Lights over bed and the porch didn’t work. Check the blinds, didn’t work. Loved the stream right out our door. Best KOA we stayed in.

The Ouray KOA was excellent. The only negative was the tenting area was extremely dry and dusty. Not sure if watering that area would allow grass to grow, but other than that everything was excellent.

We stayed three nights in mid July. Hot days and cool nights. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make things easy for you. From trash pickup to delivery of ice to your site. They even provided an air compressor to add air to my trailer tires. Our spot was surrounded by trees, very shady and pleasant.

Since Corp bought this out, it’s more than doubled price. It’s outrageous. They took microwave away from campers. There is no pool. No bathroom code given out at check in OR when it changed during week. Looked out during night both times. Corp has ruined this once so loved by us resort.

Enjoyed the restaurant. Nice dinner & breakfast. Bathrooms a bit hot/lack of fans/ventilation. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Ouray KOA is beautiful with nice treed sites bordering a stream where we have stayed for 22 consecutive 4th of Julys. The new staff and manager are still learning, but are very nice. Once they get that part figured out (site scheduling, trained staff, Jeep rentals), the Ouray KOA can be a top one again!

We didn't have a good experience checking in, the front desk clerks were very rude to us in response to our site issue, and we felt this KOA was very substandard for the price and also compared to other KOAs we've stayed in. Instead of helping to address our concerns, the front desk clerks offered a refund to have us leave, very bad customer service.

The staff at KOA were top notch, so kind and helpful! Our tent site was in the back of the campground right next to the horses. While my daughter loved the horses, it left us a very unpleasant smell. Our site was completely dirt - no grass, gravel, etc. Bathrooms could use some improvement - hooks, better light, etc.Would have had a better stay in a camper vs. tent.

We stayed in camping spot 56. This spot has absolutely no shade which meant we could not sit and rest at our campsite until the sun started setting. This campsite is also completely surrounded by other campsites so there was a lot of noise and people walking through our campsite to get to the bathroom. There were not enough bathrooms and showers and each night we had to wait to use them.

Most money I have ever spent to get an rv site. No pool, no cable tv, internet was not good, cell service was not good. Power went out during our stay and tripped a breaker in my rig causing my fridge not to work. What exactly am I getting for $120 bucks a night? Very disappointing. We have been all over the US and stayed at way nicer campgrounds for a lot less money.

The stay was great, KOA was great but it did start off badly. The last 3 years us and another family have booked this KOA a year in advance for July 4th and selected sites next to each other. This year we show up and we are on opposite sides of the campground. We prepaid a year in advance and even paid $75 to hold. They were able to move us 3 spots away, but tried to charge me $175 additional.

The only thing I would suggest is maybe have options as to whether you would like to receive KOA updates as far as things going on around the park. Just bc for me it was a little much on a vacation where I wanted to unplug a bit. Everyone working there was so nice, and the live music bit on Saturday night was cool. Would definitely stay here again!

Tent sites are very close together and have very little shade. Bathrooms were dirty. They need to be cleaned more often for the amount of people who use them. My tent site had tons of ants. I had them in my tent and all over the campsite. Movie night went over quiet hours. (10pm) It was very LOUD and I couldn’t go to sleep. Won’t return.

Ouray KOA is a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly and restrooms/shower rooms are always clean! Great job! Just a recommendation to put a visual sign that the restrooms/shower rooms are vacant or used as people keep on checking if someone is inside or it is vacant.

We had a delux cabin since we were staying a whole week and I have zero complaints. The Cabin was perfect for my wife and I. The price was much cheaper than hotels in town and I would take my own cabin over that any ways.

Our RV club spent 5 days at the Ouray KOA amid the most splendid scenery imaginable. The staff could not have been more accommodating to our needs and the rest room facilities were spotless. I believe the management has changed recently because everyone in our group oof 30 trailers was very pleased with their experience at Ouray. The sites were spacious and shaded. We have booked again for next..
