Super friendly staff. My cabin was clean. The first day free bundle of wood was a nice touch. Miss the burners that were on the old grills. I liked the new playground and dog runs (even though I didn't use them). You should put a speed limiter on the KOA golf carts because some employees were going much faster than the 5 mph posted limit. The accommodation prices are getting too high.

All empolyees were super friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was great! We would definetly recommend it and stay here again.

The Ouray KOA campground was the perfect location for home base as we traveled the local trails. We did have an issue with our site but it was quickly resolved by Jeff (Thank you!). We enjoyed out stay and will be back!

Lovely area of the state! The Ouray KOA is clean and orderly. There are some fun things for the kids to do. I do wish the office was open beyond 5pm.

Had a voltage problem at site 29, management was aware of it. I would have been glad to work with them had I known. Luckily my Mad Dog surge protector kept any serious problems to the RV. I was told I would receive a refund but have not seen anything on my MC account yet. Steve

We are at this campground every year. Our group has been here 21 years in a row. FSJ. This year was by far the dustyest. A water truck would have saved it. The bathrooms... .my feet got dirty when I got out of the shower. I was the first in after it was cleaned. But the rest was great. Already have my reservation for next year. Happy Trails. Pat

Our trip started with being told our spot that we reserved was not going to be made available to us as there was apparently a $75 holding fee that no one mentioned during the booking, which was over the phone. The spot that we were eventually given then had a consistent sewer smell throughout the stay. Would not ever stay here again. The customer service of the staff was also deplorable.

They guided us into our site backwards and were going to leave us like that until we got the guys attention that we were backwards. Being 65 foot long, it was a challenge to get turned around. I witnessed customers reporting electrical issues. Your staff is very rude to customers regarding these problems, whispering obscenities when they don’t agree with customers.

I was stuck in a campsite surrounded by come sort of convention, had dozens of people walking directory through my campsite including drunk men that approached me while trying to keep to myself in my own campsite. Upon checkout was then further charger 4$ more for a reason the front desk lady couldn’t explain to me. Would not recommend. Horrible experience.

The campground itself was very nicely put together but some sites are very small. Best to call and confirm the site they'll put you in has the size you need and pay to hold it. Ours was way too small for our rig and many other open sites available. Also had issues with final charges and tried to call to explain but my inquiry was not well taken and basically shuflled off. Got hung up on.

This place was awful! It said on the signs 5 miles per hour which no one adhered to. The dust on the roads was choking! We asked for shade and the entire space had zero shade! Also on the last night there were some campers who played loud music till mid night I place a call and never got an answer.

The facility overall was fine. First two times using the restroom there was no paper towels or toilet paper. The female worker at the front desk was nice. The male, however, was polite to our face but then we overheard him talking down to the female co-worker and bad mouthing a customer after getting off the phone with foul language and such. Not the first KOA we’ve seen this type of behavior.

Great large campground with good sized sites that are mostly quiet. Clean restrooms. There were many children staying while we were there and there are many activities for them, but they are not good at obeying quiet hours.

One of our best stays at KOA. Frank & Sandi very very informative. We needed to go how for 6 days for a family issue. Frank got with the GM and arranged for us to have a place to park our TT for the 6 days until we return. The park was well kept all the staff was available for any questions. Highly recommend Ouray KOA. *****

Ours and our sons campsites were in the very back section, very small gravel pad for camper and the surrounding area dead brown grass and extremely fine dust. No shade trees, very hot, and dusty. Asked about moving to another site, but denied, even though several other sites open? Also Wi-Fi did not work, was out of order!

We absolutely loved our stay! Wish we stayed for another night, honestly. It was the perfect environment for my son & I. He loved the playground & bounce house. Above all, he felt really safe walking alone to play, or the restrooms. Restrooms & showers were clean. We spend the night in a cabin. However the tent sites seemed nice & shaded. Staff was very polite & helpful!!

It would help to have extended store hours into the evening - at least7 pm. The laundry needs work. I washed, but only one dryer was working properly. 2 were marked out of order, but the #2 dryer did not hold heat bc there was a crack in the glass. I basically paid $3 to spin my clothes, wait 50+ min. And still had to hang my damp clothes overnight.

We love the improvements made so far. The KOA is located in a beautiful setting. The staff are very friendly and helpful . CONCERNS TO CONSIDER : 1. POOR TV RECEPTION , NO LOCAL CHANNELS. 2. The REQUIREMENT TO PAY 75.00 TO LOCK IN A RESERVED CAMP SITE. 3. STORE TOO HOT IN THE AM. 4. MOST OF THE GRASS IS DEAD 5. TENT CAMPING LIKE A HOMELESS CAMP - TOO MANY IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY YOURS

Since I am rating corporate, they should not charge as much as they do when all decks and picnic tables need sanding. Gigantic 3 inch gravel vs pea gravel No internet (which I hear u r working on), no washer/dryers that clean/dry clothes, and yellow grass. You have water, instead of having housekeeping pick up the trash, please water the lawn...priorities. If I was to rate the staff - beyond 5

We love the KOA Holiday in Ouray! We’ve stayed twice in the deluxe cabin and it doesn’t disappoint. Now they’ve added extra amenities for the kids - like 2 playgrounds and a jump pad! They always loved the gemstone area and the hot tub. We brought the bikes to ride around the campground. We cooked out and loved star gazing! The staff addressed the couple of complaints we had, so no problems!

Despite booking months in advance for a 6 night stay, host gave us the worst campsite in the park, literally in between the main entry and exit. Fortunately an employee was able to move us to one of the larger sites at the back of the property, which is what was advertised and paid for. I do not appreciate the false advertising. Dirty and inadequate bathrooms also. Will never return.

Very nice people. Nice clean park and restrooms, good hot showers. I have stayed 3 times and will always stay here when I'm in the area. Also they are not putting in the description for the regular cabins that all have ac units which is a huge plus.

Ouray KOA was a spacious campground. The tent sites are small but comfortable. We appreciated that the tent area was wood-chipped. There is plenty of daytime staff to assist as needed. However once 5pm hit, the office was closed and no staff is found. This just baffled me! The cafe on site offered yummy food and nice hours. All in all, it’s a nice campground - no pool on site -

I was told that I would have a stove in the cabin and there wasn’t one. So we had to buy more camping equipment that we already had. At home that we could have brought to do the cooking.

We were quite disappointed with our stay at the Ouray KOA. The office hours are not honored. They often close the office early making it impossible to get much needed fire wood and ice. We ordered espresso two mornings and it literally took 20-30min to get our coffee. Breakfast took even longer.

Emergency 2 night stay. Great accommodations. Clean. Need to get the laundry room in full operation. To many out of order machines. Need better ventilation in restrooms. Showering is very muggy.

Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Love this KOA still. We worked there as workkampers in the summer of 2006. Like the improvements and certainly noticed the many staff members. Thank you for helping us enjoy your wonderful small town.

We had a delux cabin since we were staying a whole week and I have zero complaints. The Cabin was perfect for my wife and I. The price was much cheaper than hotels in town and I would take my own cabin over that any ways.

Our RV club spent 5 days at the Ouray KOA amid the most splendid scenery imaginable. The staff could not have been more accommodating to our needs and the rest room facilities were spotless. I believe the management has changed recently because everyone in our group oof 30 trailers was very pleased with their experience at Ouray. The sites were spacious and shaded.
