This campground is very nice! the folks who work there are friendly, competent and helpful. The store is clean as is the swimming pool. Best of all, it is by a railroad track! Oscoda is a beautiful town with a beautiful beachfront. If you want to camp in a beautiful area, pick this area.

Courteous and helpful staff provided a relaxing time. One complaint ... We stayed at site 20, near pool. There is an annoying spotlight from a building that shined on our site all night. Very bright! It made it harder to see the stars too. We especially like watching the train go by each evening!

This KOA is clean and sites are nice. Great location for Oscoda beach which is one of the cleanest beaches I have ever been on. Water was beautiful.

Oscoda KOA is always a great place to spend the Labor Day weekend. Doing this for over 15 years! Management and staff are super. Always friendly and helpful. Oh, and super weather.

We had a great time even though the weather wasn't cooperating. I love the texts. First time a campground has texted information to us. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. My husband loved the pull thru sites! We had fun at the local festivities and love the area. You'll see us again!

The policy of charging extra money for a 19 year old child of our own family is ridiculous. I could see if it was a non family member. Most 19 year olds dont use your facilities such as the bounce pillow or the playground or the little bikes. Seems like a way to just be greedy and make another buck.

Check-in was extremely smooth. We were escorted to our deluxe cabin that was clean and stocked. Our friends were with us & we had 3 cabins right in a row, which was perfect. Sites are very close together, so if we didn't know our neighbors, it would have been too close for comfort. Entire staff was kind and accommodating!!

We had a wonderful weekend. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I could suggest is updating the bathroom/ shower area. Shower area was small. Outside of that we had a great time.

Very friendly staff in both office and maintenance. Special shout-out to the camp hosts who fixed my TV cable connection after I broke it the the previous night. Bathhouses very clean. Stayed for 5 nights. The train comes by around 10pm and returns around midnight. It’s an uncontrolled crossing to enter campground so by law, they must sound their horn. No problem for this retired railroader.

Very small campground but so peaceful. Staff was overly nice and sweet. The kids were able to play and run around without any worries. We will always stay here now anytime we come to Tawas.

Friendly, helpful office staff. Grounds are large and very well kept. Great walking areas for dogs. Close to beaches, stores and anything needed. Dog beach in Oscoda and East Tawas..2.5 hour drive to Mackinac. I loved it!

Beautiful KOA!! It's in the trees and and ground is flat. Super nice staff. Spaces are raked clean. All around Super experience.

We liked how the they guided us to our site, the site was perfect and clean. The owners stopped and talked with us and we told them what we liked about their campground compared to others we stayed at. We will definitely be back.

50 amp electric outlets didn't work, worker blamed it on us. Funny, the KOA we are at now works perfectly. I think it's the worker with the problem. Water is absolutely awful.

We have been coming to the Oscoda KOA for over 6 years now! Every single time it’s been nothing but great! Always clean and staff is always welcoming! Best KOA around :) there is also so much to do in Oscoda and the location is perfect to downtown and the pier!

Everything was really nice. The showers need an update and they constantly drip. Otherwise beautiful campground. The updated camp store is beautiful.

If you're tent camping; bring your own pad to set tent on. There was not a grass pad, as stated on site. The bath and shower room, was excellent and very clean. Friendly staff. Plenty for kids to do. A nice family place.

Loved the Cabin and the amenities, the train at 10 and 11:30 PM is a little bit of a downer but otherwise we enjoyed our stay very much. Very clean bathrooms and so friendly staff! Rentable fridge or freezer space would be a great idea!
