At first we were sent by ourselves to a space that was la Itteraly in the road. We had a hard time finding it and then realized it was not the best fit. They did allow us to change. love Steve’s CanAm rental, super nice guys and a heck of a time!

What a mess, there’s all these “rules” that are not in the rules. I feel like everything we did they were on us. Being without water for several hours not once but twice was ridiculous. We’ve been going to this KOA for 4 years it’s definitely took a dive, the grass is all dead, Rec center not open, no ice cream social, bounce pad was flat. Do not recommend go to box car instead.

New staff is 10/10. New price is hard to justify. We’ve been coming here for 15yrs it’s our favorite koa but may consider renting a house in the future due to inflated pricing. The add’l “h” sites are great but the amt of dust now by wreck hall is a bummer. Lots of speeding trucks.

Phenomenal camp hosts, staff, cleanliness of sites, convenience of access to the dunes! Definitely one of our favorite campgrounds in Coos Bay!

We came for u t v take over. We were able to enjoy the event during the dand it was a fantastic transition to the quiet at night. The security kept everything in line and I felt very safe with all of my belongings..

We had booked two pull through spaces but put in a back in, amenities promised didn't exist or were not open. Zip Line, Paddle boat and Cable. Price seems very excessive for what you get. Steve's Rental didn't accept the 10% discount costing me $50

Nice, roomy pull-through spaces in the new "H" section. Close to the dunes for those who are sand riders. Fun things for kids to do, like a large bounce-mat and a playground, and a recreation room. If you like to party all night, this is not the place to be; they run a pretty tight ship and will shut down noisemakers after 10pm, and earlier if it gets really boisterous. Good family campground.

Steve patrolling the firewood situation was a little excessive… I’d prefer to pay more for my spot nightly if it’s all about profit. And the comments about bringing your own beer into a bar, that like saying your a firewood store. You sell bread, soup and beer, Where do you draw the line? Great spot, great new construction!!!! Guest train ride, bikes/ATV’s/dune buggies creating dust made it difficult to cook outside. Water or oil on the roads would have fixed it. Extremely loud music almost nonstop and past quiet hours made it difficult to sleep. Contacted staff who did nothing. When we drove 12hrs-wasn’t the vacation I had hoped for. Unless you have sand toys... It's nothing but a huge dusty bowl with load ATV/Quads and music. Quite time starts at 10pm but the dunes close at midnight. You get the picture

A bit dusty and grim, but it is completely oriented to off road vehicles and riding the dunes on machinery. As such, lots of dust and noise highway very close and quite noisy. Probably less of an issue if you are in a van or camper. Otherwise, facilities good and staff very nice and helpful. The right spot for a certain crowd.

Stay was great, downsides were the dust and lack of staff running amenities for example, zip line wasn’t open until July. Next time I would choose a different location within the park to stay.

Great staff! So friendly. I called at 7:00 pm asking if they had a vacancy and they accommodated me immediately. Check-in was a breeze and the facility was very clean and conveniently located, just steps to the dunes

The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The office hours were nice and it seemed like someone was always available. I would only recommend this location to family and friends who own an ATV or love to do that kind of activity. The amount of dust at this RV park is much higher than any previous KOA just because of the ATV equipment always moving around the area.

Stayed up top in the new big boy sites. Great spot. Plenty of room. Hopefully we can get a few trees planted up there once some of the dust settles.

Loved the KOA, it was nice Steve’s ATVs was right next door. And dune access was good. The only complaint is the ticks were horrible. We dealt with 6 ticks in 2 days.

Awful. Dune buggies, dirt bikes, and a guest train ride create constant dust and noise so one cannot simply relax or cook outside. Also couldn’t sleep because the noise went on beyond 10 pm. I contacted the manager who was indifferent to our needs.

Always a highlight of our annual trip up the coast. The ease of getting to the dunes from the park for some fun on the dunes in our RZR's etc. The "Kiddie Track" is so fun for our grand children and for us to watch them. The little store has saved us a trip to Safeway many times. Amazingly carries a little bit of everything! The staff is fun and very nice. Lot's of entertainment for kids!

Most showers were broken, not good maintenance. Wreck hall was closed and zip line was closed. Don’t recall them having the ice cream social as usual. I have been staying here for 20 years and love it. I think they need to get some house keeping done.

Easy check in, great spots (new upper area). Wishing the store was open a little later, but we survived. Such a friendly staff - at check in, at the gate late at night. 100% recommend!

Too dusty. Showers didn’t hot water and it was noisy with the highway traffic. Staff were very friendly though.

My family stays here every time we visit the Oregon Dunes. We love the accessibility to the dunes while being out of the wind. The amenities available at camp are outstanding. This location is family and dog friendly. The kids dune area is especially great for young kids and we appreciate the rec area on bad weather weekends.
