Cabin was run down with saggy floor in spots, was there for 3 night no cabin service (ie towels,garbage) onsite shanty was closed on sunday but staff was friendly

A resident stole from my porch. I told the office they couldn’t do anything. There is no security. This ruined mine & my kids stay. We were there trying to get our minds off something bad that happened to us 3 years ago. It was ruined by a resident thief. I was told nothing would be done about him there. I pressed charges to try and stop him from doing it to someone else and ruin their time.

Well I’ve stayed in this park many times before, this time I booked online and the photo shown was not the cabin that I got booked into. We were told that it’s a web issue and to always call to confirm! “What’s the point of having inaccurate information on a website ??? We did agree to stay in one of your on-site trailers for our stay. We always have loved KOA Okeecobee. FIX your website

Did not have fun there was nothing for kids to do here they sell you a dream they tell you oh yes there's a lot of stuff here to do that's not true the only thing they have is bingo for the residents that live here you can't get into the gym you can get into nothing unless you pay extra my kids was not happy I stayed two nights the first night we stayed my kids was getting bit by stuff on the beds

This was our second trip to this KOA. We spent 2 nights in a rustic cabin. The grounds are amazing.

Excellent amenities and pool. Cabin was a little bit dirty and had spider webs in the shower. Bedroom Ac was difficult to understand and needed a manual.

Stayed in cabin that was on the golf course/ with water behind cabin. We came w 2 boys who love to fish and that is exactly what they did the entire stay!!! They caught many fish and all staff was helpful and nice! Only complaint about staying in that cabin was the everyday early mowing on the golf course !! That won’t stop us from returning bc everything was excellent!

Very enjoyable, our second year at Okeechobee. Plenty of activities as usual. Stayed in a basic cabin this year and suggest these are in need of updating, maintenance or knockdown/replacement. All of these units should have a small refrigerator. Lots of fun at the Shanty weekend dances although the March 9th event was somewhat off given drunken state of entertainment. Hope to see you next year.

The cabin was great. Very clean roomy. Just a heads up Bathroom floor was soft from shower water. At first were not set up for texts and our water was shut off and we were not aware but they resolved and we received all texts which kept us informed of activities. Loved that

Very pleased with this campground . The pool was great, close to shopping , restaurants, etc. plenty of activities if you want to be busy. We biked everywhere. When they get the pool food place open, that will be great !

We had a very nice stay in one of the deluxe cabins and he had everything we needed. The only thing I would recommend is making sure the laundry machines were operational.

It was quite chilly by Florida's standards. But the cabin was warm and comfortable as was the Shanty and the pizza was great. We came to celebrate our friends 60th birthday it was a huge success. I already recommended it to my boss.

Let me start with praise. The staff = great. The location = excellent. The grounds = very nice. My only negative comment is with the furniture, the couch was way past due for replacement, just sit on it and you will see why (cushioning is nonexistent) and the recliner had a bad funk to it.

As always the staff is very friendly and eager to help. The only downside was the restroom facilities closest to us was close and the next one only had one working toilet.

TV didn’t work. Extremely loud neighbors with a large group of teenagers screaming into the night. Check in not available until 3pm. It was worth a shot but we won’t return for this price .

Clean place, and friendly souls. We also went to a 15's on the day of the check in, and it was a beautiful event at the KOA. Can't wait to go back, maybe in January because I have another 15's in Okeechobee. My kids loved the place.

Deluxe cabin was everything but. Toilet didn't work properly, knobs were off the cabinet and stuck in a drawer, the wood on the deck was cracked, split, and rotting, grass was extremely high. They were doing work on the cable but were totally destroying the campsites; total mud pit. Half the activities were canceled.

I had never at a KOA before and didn't know what to expect, and i was pleasantly surprised. For me it was great. If i were with a family and multilple activities were canceled almost every day, some because of scheduling, I would not be happy at all. For me, a single guy taking a weekend with some friends, it was perfect.

We go often to KOA Chobee. We had to leave early -my son had got sick. A few things I did mention. The hot water-which was not even hot only lasted a few minutes. Also, the Speckled perch smelled very musty/ moldy. That needs to be checked out as someone could get really sick. All, staff , activities and amenities were great.

The staff was great and we had an awesome time with family and friends. A few suggestions to make it even better next time would be things like changing the pool handle covers and fixing the playground. The family pool was clean and enjoyable but the ragged covers were distracting. new rules like ‘no spikes in ground’ kept us from putting up our shade and seem to be very strict.
