Overall, this is a nice park, though usually crowded. The only issue we have is the drunks driving around on their golf carts late at night playing music and being loud. I come to Okeechobee for work, so when I'm there I need to be sleeping at night because I have to get up early in the morning to get to work. Other than that, the place is great!

Has everything. Perfect community for snowbirds. Convenient to everything. Facility maintained and groomed. Our first time and it felt like (and probably will be) home.

Best Koa ever: really enjoyed our stay will be back next year. glad to see all the political flags banned, makes the park more enjoyable. Your staff was great, and the activities keep one busy. The park is well run and very clean.

Always love our stay at KOA Okeechobee. Would recommend that the hot tub either get fixed or cover it up...it's truly an eyesore and health hazard.

Great campground, conveniently located. Enjoyed pool, Shanty lounge, shuffleboard, bingo and bike riding in area. Also went to local speckled perch event.

The 10 and 5 ratings are for the staff, as they were very friendly and very helpful during our stay. I would rate the site as a 4 because: the camp is huge and very crowded, sites are small and can be hard to get in with a medium size coach. At times it can be challenging to walk around due to continuous vehicle traffic, golf carts, and bikes. Snowbird courtesy is at the minimum.

Easy check in. Nice environment. Nice amenities. I tent camped with kids between the ages of 9-12 and all were happy and entertained. Only complaint is how close the spacing is with the tent and rv sites but would stay again.

Vacationed here for a week. Two pool, family and adult both heated. Adult pool was always packed so we went to family pool. Laundry facility ok. Free Wi-Fi at adult pool was not very good. No free Wi-Fi at site, paid for 1 week and it was very spotty, even to just check mail. No cable. People were nice, they had activities. Pricey for lack of Wi-Fi and cable.

Maiden voyage in our new class b rv. Wanted an easy trip and stay for the first time out. The campground is very nice. Looks very well maintained. We had a good time,no complaints. Lots of long duration guests but everyone was friendly. General store had good amount of items and supplies. Store prices were very reasonable,not at all overpriced.

Inter net only at the pool areas. Cable was out for 48 hours. Cabin needs some updating. Can only rent cabins for 2 weeks at a time. Lots to do. This is a great place to stay. Close to shopping and restaurants.

Mixed what site we should be at during check in. Apparently never updated it in the system. When we doing a day trip the next morning it was apparent things hadn’t been updated. The new entry code hadn’t been set yet and they said they would text it to me - noting my cell phone number. I never received the text. Only KOA I have been at without a dish wash area. They do have a dog wash.

Disappointing. Upon arrival, we found our site not prepped. We splurged and booked a deluxe site. The grill was a mess and was not cleaned. The site was covered in debris and was in need of clearing. The table had not been wiped and had food particles left on it. The table and chairs were unusable because they were so wobbly and unsafe. There was a sewer hose connection left in the sewer pipe.

Everything was great as usual. I would only recommend management work on snack bar hours.... was sad to see the adult pool extremely busy and no snack bar (even with the convenience store oven broken, thus preventing them from serving many items on the menu).

I have never had a harder bed to sleep on in a camping cabin. There was supposed to be cable TV but, it never worked. I said something to them and they gave me blank looks and did nothing. No sorry just looked at me. Never again. Seriously the hardest bed ever. It was like plywood. The floor had the same comfort level.

Back in sites are tight for longer rigs to get in but doable with patience. You have to watch out for golf carts speeding by 20+. That pet is not well policed. Nice campground otherwise.

Enjoyed the KOA. The laundry facilities need some attention but the other amentities were really good. Very nice and hospitable staff. Was disappointed that there was no cable TV also. Overall, we enjoyed our time.

Had a wonderful site (191). Shade provided by a fifth wheel in 190 and a large tree near 193. Ha ha. Loved it. In fact it was so nice I was there for 4 nights and my truck never moved. Dumping was a little more challenging than usual due to it being behind the camper. Other than that it was wonderful. Hope to visit again someday. Cheers!

We started camping at the Okeechobee KOS in 2016. And we come back every year except the Covid years because we love the park.

We had a wonderful stay at KOA! The eagles tribute band was awesome! Last guy in March was NOT very good!! Pool parties were great! Food was good too! Need to fix lighted sign up front. Replace faded KOA flags! Clear white flood lights instead of Christmas color flood lights! Need more loungers at adult pool! Throw away old GROSS rubber loungers! Need new pool handrail covers!

Enjoy the resort, pools are great. Hopefully they continue to work on infrastructure. Weather was great this year.

It was ok. We found the sites a bit tight but that’s not unusual for campgrounds. The adult pool was closed the first couple of days there, 1 laundry area closed. Requested many times for our free cable we never did get it in the 5 days there. We ordered 3rd party internet and that was a bust too. The park is very well maintained otherwise.
