L'emplacement était correct mais la pression d'eau n'était pas suffisante. Le pot à feu n'était pas sur le terrain mais de l'autre côté du chemin????

Jason and Bonnie went out of their way to help us out when our truck broke down at the campground. They actually cared and made suggestions on how we could still make the trip fun. Also, the spots were easy to get in and out of and the view was beautiful.

Bonnie was the kindest host and so good to our 18 month old daughter. I love that they have a bath tub for children at this location: every KOA should! It made Abi so much more comfortable and reduced our stress. The location was beautiful and close to the Cabot Trail. Amenities were all there and very clean. We really appreciate everything, Bonnie!

Excellent stop over to/from the N. Sydney ferry. Bonnie the manager is a very good host.

I loved my stay at this KOA. Each day I would take time to enjoy the surroundings - water on one side and a beautiful red rock mountain behind. One of most relaxing KOA stays ever.

Not an overly attractive campground and the fact that the firepits are across the road from the campsites is just really odd.

Very nice campsite overlooking the river. Ideal for the stop before or after the ferry or to start in Cape Breton NP. Highly recommended.

The view from our site was amazing. We stayed on the upper sites and looking out over the water at the bridge was great. I’ve forgotten their names but the couple that runs the park were also amazing. Friendly, and helpful. She recommended a great local restaurant and he helped back out trailer in when I had some “issues”. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay here again!

We stayed 5 nights in mid August to use the place as HQ for touring North Cape Breton. We were easily able to circumnavigate the Cabot Trail in one day. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see Louisbourg because of weather but we had a great day in Baddeck and the Alexander G. Bell Museum. Only detractor to score was poor/none wifi. Currently there is no decent external signal available. Nice locatio

Spent the night coming from the Newfoundland ferry, Nice clean campground. Bathrooms and showers where clean and we had a beautiful view for our campfire that evening! The kids enjoyed the playground on-site. Will stay again when passing through.

Our stay was pleasant. The sites need some TLC. It’s well suited for Sydney and the Cabot Trail. The operators are welcoming and friendly just a little overwhelmed.

Excellent. Owners were very accommodating to an early arrival. Excellent view. Very clean. Nice place to stage for trip to NFLD or central to visit Cabet and area.

We had a nice site, overlooking the bridge. Some sites were less desirable, showers were ok. Good location to do the Cabot Trail and Louisbourg Fortress

Spectacular view from the campsites! Owners Jay and Bonnie went above and beyond when we made the rookie mistake of locking ourselves out of our motorhome! (& our neighbours were awesome!)

Beautiful large site with a great water view. The location of this campground is perfect for exploring the Cabot Trail.

Stayed here 11 years ago when it was newer. Very convenient for getting to the Newfoundland Ferry. Grounds are looking very tired and unkempt. Only thing going for it is its location. Will consider other campgrounds next time I travel to the area.

We spent two nights at a site on the upper tier. It provided us a great view and amazing sunrises. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, we were shown available sites and got to pick the one we preferred. The washrooms closest to the office were very clean, including the showers. There is laundry facilities but we did not use them. However, we did check them out and they looked good. There is also a building with fitness equipment. Similar to the laundry, check it out, did not use, looked good. We were traveling with our small dog. The campground is very dog friendly. There is even a small off leash area. Enjoyed our time here and are planned to spend a few more nights on the back end of our vacation.

The only "bad" thing I can say about this park is that we've never been able to spend more than one night. Great location, clean amd great service.
