Staff went out of their way to help us with some truck issues, recommending a couple service options & offering to drive us there, Didn’t charge us for a second day eventho we had to stay beyond checkout time. Clean park and showers, nice swimming pool�.

Lot #35 was very close to the highway and really loud. The 30 Amp breaker very weak and would not hold the AC & coffee maker.

We had a beautiful peaceful site, took advantage of the frisbee golf course and a nice walk through the woods on a well maintained path. The only minor problem to note was the wet bathroom floors from pool users and low shower lips

I was very dissatisfied with the kids activities. No free games (bags or ladder golf) and the few games in the game room were at a charge as well. You charge for kids but give them only a playground and bounce pad. Unfortunately, our kids could not get out of there quick enough. There is nothing even close to do in this area.

The staff was friendly and a joy to chat with. We had a flat tire and they added a day to our stay so we could get it fixed at Barney's (who they recommended). Also had a great meal at Biaggio's. The road noise will go away as the trees grow on that end of camp but not a problem. Great bath houses.

Excellent stay, except for the neighbor who kept his BRIGHT lights on all night, directly into my rig…. My black out curtains were not enough to keep the LED lights from going through…

Great check in. Friendly staff. Very family friendly. Lots of activities. Nice areas for walking, free breakfast, good wifi, clean restrooms, dog park.

The campground was very nice. The staff was very friendly. The only thing we didn't like was how narrow our lot was. Other than that it's a great campground.

This KOA is very clean and has many amenities. The people running the camp ground are very friendly! We will definitely stay here again.

We brought two grandkids ages 8 and 10. Stayed for two nights along with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law and their two grandkids. The kids had a blast. Played, fished, hiked, swam, had a great time. Bathrooms and facilities were clean. Love the way you escort everyone to their campsites. We were thankful they got to ride the train too.

Very friendly staff! We called at the last minute and they worked hard to get us into the last pull-through site available. Our site guide was excellent! He drove his golf car ahead of us and placed it exactly where we needed to be on critical wide turns. We just had to follow in his tracks! I haven't seen that done that well elsewhere. It sure was helpful!

Clean, friendly, and a great location. We enjoyed the nature walk and noticed that there were plenty of activities for kids to enjoy as well.

Very well-maintained grounds with friendly staff. Enjoyed my stay! Only downside (and this isn't the park's fault) is the sound from the interstate. It can make it difficult to hear each other around a campfire.

campground to close to interstate. right beside it. very noisy. could not sleep. camp sites are clean, and stuff very friendly. also, very hard to find entrance to campground need better signage.

Although we were only there for one night we found the campground staff wonderful and amenities were great. Traveling with 4 children you look for amenities that will allow them to get their energy out after a full day of travel. The playground, barrel train ride, jumping pillow, pool were great. A bonus was the Pancake Recipe that was shared with us. We have made them several times since.

While the staff were amazing, the property was not extremely well maintained, the sites were so narrow that we had only a couple of feet between slide outs with our neighbors. It was convenient to the interstate highway though!

Campsites way too small. Crowded on top of each other. We left early in morning and almost couldn't get out of our site without hitting RV across the street. Dog park very hard to get to. Only campground out of our 33 day trip we were not satisfied with.

We traveled from Kansas to reach Newton, IA KOA on our way to Wisconsin. We arrived mid afternoon and requested to move to another site due to traveling with a trailer. Due to it being a holiday weekend we felt like our chances to move would be very slim. The Camp Host found us a spot and was very accommodating. We had a very nice and quiet one-night stay. We will plan to return.

Everything was very nice, but the traffic on the highway was very loud. It seemed like one obnoxious trucker blasted his horn as he drove by about 3 am, waking us up.

We were here for a month. We were trying to get some work done on our mh in nearby Altoona. This required multiple trips back and forth. Our KOA made sure our spot was mowed, etc when we came back in the afternoon. The staff is helpful, friendly and accommodating. The facilities/grounds are kept beautifully. It is in the middle of the state, so we could drive almost anywhere in a day and back.

Friendly staff, a little noisy but it is close to an interstate. Sites are close, but it wasn't too busy, so they did a good job of spreading us out.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Newton KOA. As new full timers we got ourselves in a spot with tow vehicle trouble and our 2 week stay was extended into months. Tanya took good care of us getting initially situated. Jeff Adams helped us so much with everything, from making sure we were good when the weather got rough, Propane when we didn't have a vehicle, Too many deliveries to count and more. Thank you Jeff!!! As for the facility, The grounds are always very clean and nice, We really enjoyed the hiking trail. The upstairs showers and laundry facilities were always very clean. I could not imagine a better stay. I would give more stars if I could.

We have been staying at the KOA for a couple of months. All the staff go above and beyond to meet your needs. Great place for summer with the kiddos too. We have stayed at a few campgrounds since we bought our camper and this one has been the best by far. Laundry facilities, outhouse and bathrooms are always clean.
