People were terrific!All was GREAT..except for 1 huge thing -Shuttle management. Offer of shuttle to speedway is REALLY big benefit! BUT end of day return very poorly managed. 1) understood traffic control "out of management hands" BUT perhaps work more with approval to get thru as big busses do. 2)advised to leave last concert 1/2 way thru ..only to wait hour+ in van; 6 could've returned so 6 m

We were there for 5nights during the Indy Car weekend. Tanya, Sam and the entire staff were great! They had a shuttle to transport us to the track and back. We are looking forward to next year already! Everyone was very accommodating.

Was there for the Indycar race weekend at Iowa Speedway and stayed 4 nights. Everything was well organized and staff was very responsive to getting campers checked in and escorted to camp site. Excellent WiFi for a campground. This campground is near I-80 so you do get some traffic noise. Overall would recommend this campground for either an overnight stop or stay while doing activities.

Had a wonderful stay! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Loved the pancake breakfast! We were there for the races and loved having shuttle service to the track. I must say I read all the reviews before staying here and several mentioned the highway noise, honestly it’s not that bad at all. We didn’t even hear it inside our camper. We can’t wait to stay again next year!! Thank you

This KOA is smaller than others that we have stayed at but it we very conveniently located to the Iowa Speedway. I was most impressed with the KOA Staff. Each and every one of them were very kind and accommodating.

The sites are too close together. Couldn't put out awning. Couldnt enjoy a fire. Too much interstate noise.

We had a wonderful stay! Staff very friendly and accommodating! Park was very clean and easily accessible! The park even provided a van service to the Indy Car races!!! Very much appreciated !! Would Highly Recommend this KOA as a stop on your way to or through IOWA!

It was good to be escorted to our site. Would be better if our escort had asked where our hookups were located so she could align compartment doors with your facilities. The way she positioned us on the site I had to use 2 water hoses to reach the faucet. Otherwise great place to stay!!

The employees at the Newton KOA are all wonderful! Tanya and Jeff were so friendly and answered any questions I had and were very helpful! The sites were a little close, the sewer hookup was too close to the next site, it was uncomfortable to have someone dumping right where you were sitting at your table eating. Too close. Other than that it is a very nice campground.

Great experience. I was staying in a tent site, but was towing a utility trailer. They upgraded me for free as there were a few sites available. Great place. Loved watching the fire flies over the grass hill near the frisbee golf.

We have stayed here at least four times over the past few years. We appreciate the kind, helpful staff. It's very apparent the investments these owners are putting into their camp; it doesn't go unnoticed. When we first started RVing in 2017, we would stay at KOAs because we knew we'd get reliable power, now KOAs are a real treat! We are surprised this is a Journey; it feels like a Holiday!

I was there for a quilt retreat. The owners and employees were very kind and helpful. The campground was very nice. It was mowed and very well kept. The landscaping was very nice. A brand new pool. Close to town for shopping and food. It was a very nice experience. I’m looking forward to coming again.

Thank you so much for your kind help during our breakdown. We barely limped in to your cg with a fuel leak in our truck. You put us into a pull through site which made it very easy for the tow truck to get to us. Additionally when the repairs were done you gave us a ride to the dealer to get our truck and led us back to our site. Thx so much.

Pros: Big rig friendly (40 foot 5th wheel) 50 amp with full hook ups Easy on and off interstate Very friendly staff Very nice playground area Very nice frisbee golf course Close to Walmart Bathrooms were clean Cons: -showers were lukewarm -sites were pretty tight Good for an overnight and would stay again

Friendly staff, a little noisy but it is close to an interstate. Sites are close, but it wasn't too busy, so they did a good job of spreading us out.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Newton KOA. As new full timers we got ourselves in a spot with tow vehicle trouble and our 2 week stay was extended into months. Tanya took good care of us getting initially situated. Jeff Adams helped us so much with everything, from making sure we were good when the weather got rough, Propane when we didn't have a vehicle, Too many deliveries to count and more. Thank you Jeff!!! As for the facility, The grounds are always very clean and nice, We really enjoyed the hiking trail. The upstairs showers and laundry facilities were always very clean. I could not imagine a better stay. I would give more stars if I could.
