The staff very friendly and accommodating. We had asked for shady spots there were two couples in campers with little dogs. We stayed 4 nights and alot of road noise from I-80. We made it work we hope next time to have more shade. Showers and restrooms very clean! We will be back again. Denise

We were only there overnight. The only thing was it’s near I-80 and there was road noise, not unexpected, but there.

A lot of road noise but we did pick this because it was right off the highway on our route across country. The guys that checked us in were great. Appreciate the office is open later.

The 50 amp service was limited to a sloped hill that was impossible to level on despite being new. At 105+ degrees, we needed the power but noticed a strong smell of marijuana on the breeze and the smell of a fish cleaning station coming from the sewer lines. Staff gave me a "What do you want?" when I entered the office but changed their tune when I mentioned a reservation. Golf-cart drag race??

The pictures on the site are outdated. We must have been in a newly developed area with no trees, no room in between sites for setting up games and there's a major highway right behind the site. The woman checking us in was rude. We have been to other KOA's and really enjoyed them. If this was the first time we had tried KOA, then we more than likely would not be going back to any of them.

Nice park with pool, play areas, pond, clean bath. Strong WiFI. Sites are fairly close but fairly level. The big draw back is highway noise. I-80 is very close. Very friendly staff. Would stay again as a pass through.

Just an overnite. Very clean, well laid out Journey. No difficulties making turns or accessing the many areas of the camp. Delightful staff!

When checking in I did not feel welcome at the KOA Camp grounds was not full and they put us up on a hill at a long walk to the front to use the pool. The camp grounds had very few people in them but the pool was very crowded. Did not feel safe.

The pool was a bit too chilly. Loved the spot by the Lake other than the drop off at the edge, however talked with owners and they explained that the State of Iowa owns that part of the property and won’t let you all do anything to mark the danger which is sad. Shame on Iowa.

Great staff, took us to our campsite, even changed our site so we were not in the sun. Pancake breakfast in the morning was great!! Very nice campgrounds!

Very friendly staff. KOA park was very clean. The sites though close to one another where level. We ordered pizza which tasted very good at the front desk and it was brought to our site. The only drawback was the noise from the highway, but you do get use to it. We would recommend this KOA. Very pleased.

We stayed two nights. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean, well maintained park. Nice amenities with laundry, pool, playground and pet friendly. Very quiet, peacefull park. Highly recommend!

We were overnighters but found the KOA clean! It definitely has lots of amenities which we didn’t have a chance to use! The staff was friendly and helpful! I would stay there again!

The campground appeared to be well maintained and the staff were polite. The only downside is it is close to the interstate and you hear traffic sometimes. Good place to stop for the night.

We stay here alot to just pass on to our next site. We have always had a good experience. staff is very friendly. we had problems with water not working and they moved us to different site. they always try to accommodate you.

The staff at KOA very friendly and helpful. My granddaughter loved the weekend - much for kids to keep busy with (pool, jump pad, swings, and sandbox). Our site was nice and roomy and my dog Lexi LOVED the dog park. Bathrooms clean and one nice shower.

It was a good stop over on a long drive. It is very loud with I-80 right above and the airport across the street. But the pool was nice to cool off quickly and the staff were very nice.

Area was pretty clean. Sites were way to close together to be able to get out and enjoy a meal on the picnic table. Sewer of the neighboring site was at your door. It's not a destination campground, too expensive for the type of site you received. Did not interact with the staff except to check-in. Good for one-night stays only.

Friendly staff, a little noisy but it is close to an interstate. Sites are close, but it wasn't too busy, so they did a good job of spreading us out.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Newton KOA. As new full timers we got ourselves in a spot with tow vehicle trouble and our 2 week stay was extended into months. Tanya took good care of us getting initially situated. Jeff Adams helped us so much with everything, from making sure we were good when the weather got rough, Propane when we didn't have a vehicle, Too many deliveries to count and more. Thank you Jeff!!! As for the facility, The grounds are always very clean and nice, We really enjoyed the hiking trail. The upstairs showers and laundry facilities were always very clean. I could not imagine a better stay. I would give more stars if I could.

We have been staying at the KOA for a couple of months. All the staff go above and beyond to meet your needs. Great place for summer with the kiddos too. We have stayed at a few campgrounds since we bought our camper and this one has been the best by far. Laundry facilities, outhouse and bathrooms are always clean.
