A group of friends from different parts of the state met to stay at a cabin for the night! Both the cabin and the campground was immaculate!!! The office staff was friendly and informative! The owner even stopped briefly to be sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed!! We definitely will be back!!

The koa is way too close to I-80. The noise from the highway was way too noisy. The staff was warm and friendly.

while there is some expected highway noise, the park is clean and convenient. Bonus was the local restaurant that delivered delicious pizza. This was a recommendation by park staff. This was our second stay on our way back from a trip out west. Would do it again. Bonus hiking trail exits the property for a nice little safe woods walk with the dog.

The people who worked there were very pleasant and knowledgeable. It was great having someone take you to your site. Besides being by the highway, we would stay there again. Very enjoyable.

Clean bathrooms. Nice k9 camp. Friendly people. Lots of amenities. Fun things to do for kids. They had trick or treating and breakfast pizza!!!

The campground hosts were very helpful and friendly. They made sure we were good a few times and asked if our spot was OK for us. The playground was perfect for our kids: clean, safe equipment, and plenty to choose from.

Everything was as expected. We went off season so not too much to do but still beautiful and we had fun. I do have to give a shout out to Moses for taking the girls on a ride in the caterpillar cars. I could tell he wanted our stay to be special for our birthday girl.

Newton IA KOA is a lovely area with grass and mature shade trees. Tanya at the front desk was very accommodating when we needed a last minute space due to a highway mishap which caused us to change plans. Tanya gets high marks for going above and beyond to help is exhausted travelers. We are very grateful.

Very noisy as it very close to Interstate 80. Didn't sleep much at all with all the trucks going by.

Great stop for overnight but very noisy and the dog area needed some maintenance many areas a small dog can get out. I like to let my dogs off lease but it made me real nervous about many holes and damaged fence.

Stayed in a cabin for our daughter's wedding. Great accommodations. Loved having the grill and fire pit. Great location so close to the wedding venue at Alta House.

All was good except the dog run where the heavy traffic areas, around the entry and at the bench, were muddy. I'd suggest making them gravel or paved.

Everything was fine except the noisy Interstate State next to us. If you are looking for a place easy to access right off the freeway then this is it!

Sorry we could only stay one night. Driving into campgrounds I was a bit leery because of industrial looking area. Then you see this oasis of wooded green and beautiful pond. After a long windswept drive all day going through some downpours a welcoming smiling face greeted us with our reservation. Our site was just what we requested in location within the park. Facility was well maintained.

1 - 30 amp breaker kept tripping, but max load we were pulling was 28a. Breaker was hot to touch. Fortunately I had a 50a adapter for the 50a outlet. 2 - Cable TV connection was very noisy - just about worthless for viewing. 3 - Very close to very loud interstate highway. Kind of par for easy off campsites, but just to mention.

While this is a good location for an overnight stay, this is not a good campground to stay more time. The road noise from the interstate is deafening. When talking on your phone inside the RV, the person you are talking with even hears the noise. The people are VERY nice. Cable TV advertised, but many channels didn't come in and 1 no volume. KOAs are typically topnotch; this not so. It was clean.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve stayed here. Friendly staff, very helpful. Quaint campground, nice pool. In an industrial area but once you reach the campground it is nice. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Second time staying on way out West. Great facility for a one night stay or a length of time. Friendly staff. Just don’t miss the left turn to the park. It comes up on you quickly!

Friendly staff, a little noisy but it is close to an interstate. Sites are close, but it wasn't too busy, so they did a good job of spreading us out.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Newton KOA. As new full timers we got ourselves in a spot with tow vehicle trouble and our 2 week stay was extended into months. Tanya took good care of us getting initially situated. Jeff Adams helped us so much with everything, from making sure we were good when the weather got rough, Propane when we didn't have a vehicle, Too many deliveries to count and more. Thank you Jeff!!! As for the facility, The grounds are always very clean and nice, We really enjoyed the hiking trail. The upstairs showers and laundry facilities were always very clean. I could not imagine a better stay. I would give more stars if I could.

We have been staying at the KOA for a couple of months. All the staff go above and beyond to meet your needs. Great place for summer with the kiddos too. We have stayed at a few campgrounds since we bought our camper and this one has been the best by far. Laundry facilities, outhouse and bathrooms are always clean.
