Stayed here one night with a 39 ft fifth wheel. Staff very nice! Looks like park was recently expanded. Site was nice and long so we could stay hooked up. Very nice dog park. However the pathway you drive on is coarse larger gravel & there are some decent hills. Just be aware if pulling a large rig. Had to use our 4WD with our one ton pickup.

Super friendly staff, clean sites, close to the highway, but it’s rare to find one that’s not, we did not like the larger rocks at our site, the walkway, but it was pretty, we are just getting old and hate to admit that��‍��

This campground is next to a major interstate with rumble strips in the pavement. Large trucks traveling the road kept us awake all night.

Office personnel were great, nice for a quick stop over enroute. Laundry was good, place was very clean.

We got in late after we were stuck in a detour, but they were luckily still there. We found our spot easily. The grounds were clean and well-maintained. The fenced dog run made our pooches very happy!

We understand that this park is used mostly by people just passing through, as we were. We sent to a sight that was less than 100 yards of Highway 80, the highway noise at that campground sight was horrible, traffic from both passenger cars and Semi's caused a very sleepless night. There were many other open sights much further from the road, I should have asked to be moved.

Update on interstate traffic noise…construction is done and rumble strips have been removed. A much quieter night this time.

i have had 3 cabins rented and 2 camper spots since January 2022 for wedding guests (wedding not at the koa venue) the cabins were fantastic! All that stayed were very pleased with the nice cabins with bathrooms and room for a family! SO great job on those!! I was not too thrilled with the camping spots.. we were moved from the spots that we had rented in January-no notification before hand :(

Only one thing the family and I didn’t care for were how close the RV/travel trailer spots were. Felt like we didn’t have a lot of space, but from what we observed I believe the office did a good job spreading people out for privacy.

Campground is clean an staff is nice but spot are ridiculously small an the interstate is so loud. No more than an over night stay when traveling campground.

While our site was well equipped, the ground was not level, making it very difficult to level the trailer. And the noise, oh boy, you could hardly hear to talk to each other. The lady who showed us to the site was really nice and very helpful.

Second stay here. Staff are very nice and accommodating. Wide big spaces, clean laundry room, easy access from highway. Great place for a nights stay.

Great mid-point stop for our long journey between Colorado and Michigan. The new highway pavement was so loud with trucks on our way out that it was tough to sleep. I mentioned it on our return trip & was moved to a quieter area. It was very much appreciated and we got a restful sleep. Thanks!

The lot was nice however you are way too close to the freeway. It was very hard to sleep with all the traffic noise.

Arrived late, reservation information was posted on the door. Very easy to follow instructions to the site. Site was perfect for our needs, 40ft RV towing a 24ft car trailer.

The campground is a beautiful and well maintained park. The check in was excellent and very friendly. We would never stay again unless it was our only choice. The noise level from the Interstate was deafening. We tried Everything to buffer the noise; AC fan, music, etc.

Pros: Big rig friendly (40 foot 5th wheel) 50 amp with full hook ups Easy on and off interstate Very friendly staff Very nice playground area Very nice frisbee golf course Close to Walmart Bathrooms were clean Cons: -showers were lukewarm -sites were pretty tight Good for an overnight and would stay again

Friendly staff, a little noisy but it is close to an interstate. Sites are close, but it wasn't too busy, so they did a good job of spreading us out.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Newton KOA. As new full timers we got ourselves in a spot with tow vehicle trouble and our 2 week stay was extended into months. Tanya took good care of us getting initially situated. Jeff Adams helped us so much with everything, from making sure we were good when the weather got rough, Propane when we didn't have a vehicle, Too many deliveries to count and more. Thank you Jeff!!! As for the facility, The grounds are always very clean and nice, We really enjoyed the hiking trail. The upstairs showers and laundry facilities were always very clean. I could not imagine a better stay. I would give more stars if I could.
