Nice people. Pretty park with play areas, pool, trails but RV SPACES way too close together. We could not have put our awnings out. We had guests for dinner and used the picnic table on an empty site behind us rather than serve dinner on the picnic table on our site squeezed between our big 1-ton dually and the neighbors.

Staff is amazing. Nice dog park. Sites are level. They are close but that is true with all KOAs Would have just a few items that need attention. Need to add gravel as most areas are dirt. Bathrooms could use a light refreshing/updates. Other than that great location and pricing.

Stayed in one of the cabins for our daughters wedding weekend. Couldn't have been any more perfect!!! Comfortable place to land for the entire weekend. Even though we didn't bring our camper, the grounds are well kept, clean, staff is very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here if you are attending a race weekend, or just exploring central Iowa.

night time I80 noise was disturbing and wifi was unreliable. I knew camp ground was right off the interstate but did not realize it was adjacent to the interstate. The staff was very friendly and grounds were well maintained.

The staff were friendly and the showers were clean and big however the road noise has to be the loudest I’ve ever stayed at. You couldn’t hear each other talk. Also we were excited about having cable and wi-fi but couldn’t get either to work .

They are a dated facility. Working on the pool (empty to be resurfaced) and the bathrooms had out of order sinks. We had a pull through site, stayed overnight as we journeyed east on our road trip. Site was clean.

Nice campground with friendly, helpful hosts. Our stay was just an overnight stop and it poured rain the entire time, so I can’t rate the facilities. Site was a bit tight and I-80 is loud, but otherwise is was a good stop. I’d stay here again when traveling this area.

The sites seem too close together. There was no room to put chairs and a fire that would have been 4 feet from the camper.

Customer service was horrible and the park was a joke for 56 a night. Honestly I’ll go to a state park or just get a hotel next time

Easy to get to and the campground looked well taken care of and the facilities were clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stop in again if I am out this way.

It was right off the Hwy, so convenient. But you pay the price with Hwy noise. We were up on the hill in a pull thru and the traffic was very loud. It was the kind of weather where you normally would enjoy windows open, but too noisy. Gravel sites, not real level. Nice dog park. Didn’t use other amenities. It was a good place to stay if you are gone most of the day and don’t mind the nois

Staff was nice but location not great. Poor cell service, no Wi-Fi and the interstate traffic all night was quite load. We stay at a lot of KOAs because they are near the interstate, but this one we won’t stay at again.

The site was well maintained and equipped. The location is close to the interstate. If you are sensitive to traffic noise not the place for you. Traffic noise very noticeable. Could not get wifi or cable tv to work .My main complaint with KOA in general is that we typical travel in early spring’s and late fall and we pay full/ high price but no amenities ( pools etc.)re available

Friendly staff, a little noisy but it is close to an interstate. Sites are close, but it wasn't too busy, so they did a good job of spreading us out.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Newton KOA. As new full timers we got ourselves in a spot with tow vehicle trouble and our 2 week stay was extended into months. Tanya took good care of us getting initially situated. Jeff Adams helped us so much with everything, from making sure we were good when the weather got rough, Propane when we didn't have a vehicle, Too many deliveries to count and more. Thank you Jeff!!! As for the facility, The grounds are always very clean and nice, We really enjoyed the hiking trail. The upstairs showers and laundry facilities were always very clean. I could not imagine a better stay. I would give more stars if I could.

We have been staying at the KOA for a couple of months. All the staff go above and beyond to meet your needs. Great place for summer with the kiddos too. We have stayed at a few campgrounds since we bought our camper and this one has been the best by far. Laundry facilities, outhouse and bathrooms are always clean.
