No trees and very unlevel site. Water and sewer connection within inches of each other presenting a health issue. Internet didn't work. Location has a nice pool and staff is very helpful but the park is showing its age. Its too bad as it has some nice features.

The staff was great! The only issue was the pull thru sites were close together once we opened up both slide outs their was not much room.

We only stayed one night but did get a chance to use the pool and bathroom/shower facilities. The manager of the KOA was very pleasant to talk to and we had a good time chatting. He pointed out and I agreed that even though this KOA is a Journey it has many of the amenities that the Holidays do. Unfortunately, we missed the pancake breakfast on Saturday due to a long day traveling.

Nice campground. Lost power in am but not their fault. Site was level.people friendly.

Staff gave us a site with broken Cable TV. The whole park lost power for a time. There was significant highway noise including Jake-breaks day and night. We were not offered any discount for the Cable TV problem or the power loss problem.

The campground is very well maintained and welcoming. My only criticism is that traffic noise from the interstate next to it is deafening at times. I wish that could be ameliorated in some way? Maybe a highway wall?

Campground staff was very helpful and the level site with full hookup met all our needs. They cautioned about the high water pressure and sold regulators. The campground was conveniently located close to the Interstate exit. Perfect for a quick overnight stay.

People were very friendly, sites were too close together, they need to re-rick their roads as there was way too much dust. Nice store and pool but bathrooms need updating. Although bleach is a good cleaning agent, a little goes along way....

The people were friendly, the dog park nice, the slot was marginal and the traffic control was poor. Too many people were parking on the road!!

We didn’t get to stay as long as we paid for, due to having our RV in the shop, but what time we were there, it was a nice stay. Excellent people that work there, very helpful and pleasant.

Our deluxe site was set up backwards. The amenities were on the backside of the site. The spacing between sites was extremely tight.

Had a wonderful couple nights staying here. Kids loved the barrel train ride, pool and jumping pad. A very quiet nice cabin!! One of the best KOA'S we have stayed at.

Very nice staff and they let our group use the social room for free! Pretty park but the road noise could be a bit much. Kept the windows closed and had no problems.

Very nice, polite staff who made sure we had everything we needed during our 2-week stay. The campground is very close to a busy highway with lots of noise, but the way the campground and guests are taken care of by the staff makes us very likely to return when we're in the area again.

We’ve tented at this location several times, and really enjoy the pleasant staff, the amenities, and the beautiful grass tenting area.

We only stayed one night. The lots were big enough so we didn't have to unhook our Jeep. Park was clean and the staff friendly and professional. We would stay again.

Pros: Big rig friendly (40 foot 5th wheel) 50 amp with full hook ups Easy on and off interstate Very friendly staff Very nice playground area Very nice frisbee golf course Close to Walmart Bathrooms were clean Cons: -showers were lukewarm -sites were pretty tight Good for an overnight and would stay again

Friendly staff, a little noisy but it is close to an interstate. Sites are close, but it wasn't too busy, so they did a good job of spreading us out.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Newton KOA. As new full timers we got ourselves in a spot with tow vehicle trouble and our 2 week stay was extended into months. Tanya took good care of us getting initially situated. Jeff Adams helped us so much with everything, from making sure we were good when the weather got rough, Propane when we didn't have a vehicle, Too many deliveries to count and more. Thank you Jeff!!! As for the facility, The grounds are always very clean and nice, We really enjoyed the hiking trail. The upstairs showers and laundry facilities were always very clean. I could not imagine a better stay. I would give more stars if I could.
