Overall was very nice and felt safe. Highway nearby didn’t bother me but some may not be use to the noise. A little bit of a drive to the great Smokey mountains main area but still under an hour.

My site was pretty level, all gravel. Water was yellow with iron and the fixture was very low to the ground. No Internet available. The pond was dried up and full of debris. The pool was functional and clean. Game room and pavilion non functional and tons of wasp/bee nests. Bathrooms dated. Lots of permanent campers. Overall the staff was friendly and open to helping if need be.

They are in transition with owners.Sites are in need of alot of TLC and are overgrown and some have steep exit areas. Mechanics worked well. Front office was accommodating on site change.

We reserved a tent site. Every one we were assigned was terrible, very un level. We reserved electricity but the sites had only 30 Amp connections. The woman at the desk was way beyond helpful She worked very hard to put us into a great site. We had very enjoyable evening thanks to her hard work. We can't thank her enough. STACY

This was just a stopover on our way to SC. The staff were very friendly. BUT, the grounds were very rundown. There seemed to be a good amount of permanent campers and the entire area looked very sketchy. I hate to give a poor review but want people to be aware. Maybe ok for an overnight but if you can stay elsewhere, I recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay. Nice clean bathrooms and the pool area looked nice (was not open yet). Dog park was small and all gravel. My dogs did not like that, but plenty of areas near the lake. Well what used to be a lake. It was dried up. Nice stay though. Staff was very friendly. Thank you all!!

Very accommodating! Got us in quickly as we experienced vehicle issues on our trip to Nashville. The lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodated all we needed.

Staff where very friendly and helpful even though there wasn't anything they could do about the terrible wifi they did let us move spots to get the best fit for our rig

Close to the sites of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville with out all the noise and crowds. Will definitely stay here if we are headed thru this way again.

The floor in the showers is very slippery, it should be a different material, also,there isn’t a bar to hold on.

We stayed only for one night but the staff were very friendly and accommodating! The owner even came to our campsite and delivered a new KOA book. Very nice.

We like to stay at koa while on the road Recently we stayed at Newport/1-40 Smoky Mountain in Tn. There I had trouble levering the RV when I met Stacy not only did she move me to a new site she helped me to level it (which was the best ever) What was supposed to have been a 2 night stay turned to be a 3 night stay and a new friend. Recent improvements in grading are nice but maybe ‘big rig friendly’ should be removed from description; corners are very tight.

This was just an overnight stop so I really can't rate the campground at this time. I will say though that I came in after hours but was able to get help from the personnel in the office anyway and I appreciated that very much.

Decent park. You can hear Hwy noise but not terrible. My site was VERY unlevel. I had to go purchase leveling blocks to make it work. That being said it appeared the new owners were trying to fix things ( I had been told on check in.) as people were leaving they were grating sites and doing yard work. Location is pretty good for convenience. 45-1 hour to pigeon forge. 30 to Morristown for food.

It was very run down and lots of mud. In their defense, they said they just took over. Hopefully, it will improve.If you just need a place overnight, it will do.

We asked for tent with electric and water. Got primitive and not told in advance. Did get reimbursed then got 3 more emails saying we paid cashed got cash back. We didn't do that. There was trash in fire pit that smelled. We got there late and left early to it worked but wouldn't stay more than a day. Looked like rented to lots of workers and bathroom had combo lock event though way off road.

Water connection was barely 6 inches off the ground couldn’t use regulator. The site they picked for us barely fit a motorhome with a tow vehicle. Camp appears to be not well-maintained. Needed propane and they were out of it.

We were only there overnight. This KOA is in need of upgrades. The access road was barely adequate for our 31ft motor home. Narrow road was crumbling at crucial areas for maneuvering. The pull thru site was barely adequate. What good is free WiFi if it only connects without internet?! The staff however was ready & waiting for us & pleasant. We appreciate the trash pick-up. The TV reception good

Cigarette butts everywhere. Unacceptable showers in bath house. Not clean. People cleaning restrooms standing right outside of it smoking. Noisy due to proximity of major highway. Water in shower took 10 minutes almost to beat up. Sewer caps were missing in more than 1 site. A positive-workers were nice and accommodating.

Bath house was was dirty. Very dirty. Showers full of hair. Not painted. Our site had lots of cigarette butts. We were placed right in front of the dumpsters. These should be tucked away. Did not realize how close to such a busy Hiway. Noise level is very high.

Seems like mostly trailers where people live there. Internet was horrible in the evening, cable did not come in good. Sites are very uneven and pretty small. Trash left on site and they didn’t pick up garbage if it was out by 11. They said new owners and they were working to fix it up but we didn’t see anyone driving around . Staff was very nice.

Recently under new ownership and making changes. Stacy and David (the new on-site managers) were great hosts, super friendly and helped us with what ever we needed. Park is not perfect, but sites are nice and shaded and it's quiet. Lots to do there and in the area. New owners plan on fixing it up, we look forward to coming back and seeing what they have done.

We ran into several issues at this campground and had to move several times. However the staff was wonderful and did their best to make everything right. The campground had just changed owners so things were in transition.

Staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The pull through sites needs work. We had to back out of the pull through site because we would have drugged the bike rack coming down out of the site.

We love KOAs but this location needs to have its franchise revoked. The was dog ( we hope it was dog) poop all over the place. Our site had 4 piles of it that we stepped in and needed to clean up. Most of the people there were permanent residents with junk everywhere. Lots of kids just wondering around asking if they could hang out with us and no parents to be see. site was to short and uneven.

I suggest ignoring the terrible reviews. We found this campground to be clean and friendly. Decent-sized gravel sites are not perfectly level, but you're in the mountains. We did not need blocks under tires to be comfortable. When outdoors, it's true you can hear highway traffic... but the bonus is the location with easy access off and onto I-40. Enjoyed seeing the cows on neighboring property and had a morning visit from one!
