We arrived after a storm had downed a tree, blocking the entrance, and knocking out power. We had to remove limbs at our site in order to back in. No power meant no water or sewer either. We adapted. Our reservations were questioned several times as they had no record of our being there or having paid. Why was there a $6.00 per day resort fee? I’ve never paid that before anywhere. Too expensive

KOA New York City North did a great job of handling a difficult situation during our stay. The evening we arrived a thunderstorm came through resulting in a power outage that lasted until late the next day. No water was available during the outage. A down tree and power pole caused access problems to the RV park too. The staff did a good job keeping people advised of status via text message.

The whole campground lost power for 17 hours due to off site storm related downed wires. Management kept everyone informed as to progress of repair every few hours. They did a great job with a difficult situation. We enjoyed the park and will return when back in the area.

Parts of the rv park looked nice and other parts were basically a gravel parking lot with hookups. The weeds and mud are taking over the parking lot area. One of two laundry areas was not operational and the second was dirty, two of five washing machines was out of order. Area had been receiving a lot of rain so that could have been reason for park condition.Front desk office staff was very nice.

While the staff were nice, the facilities were adequate, and the sites sufficient, I do not believe I will be staying at any KOA again due to their "KOA Rewards" program. finding out upon arrival that I would need to pay an additional amount because of my decision not to renew KOA Rewards will leave me no choice but to find any other campsite possible instead of staying at one. Never again at KOA!

During our stay there was a terrible storm that impacted the accessibility and electric service to the campground. This was completely out of the control of the campground, but they were tireless and diligent in keeping us updated about the status of the repairs, even throughout the night. We greatly appreciated their clear communication and efforts to resolve any inconvenience this caused.

Office staff and maintenance crew was courteous and very professional. We had an unusual storm experience and this park handled everything very well. Lost power 24 hrs. and updated w/texts. Park refunded 1 night stay. Beyond professional in their handling of everything. Park closed for a time while there due to down power lines. They were on top of it all. Beautiful park as well Well done!!!

This KOA is the best. Big storms rolled through this weekend knocked out power and water for almost 24 hours. On top of that pole came down and blocked entrance to leave. Staff handled this like champs. We were all informed every step of the way. This staff is the BEST!!! Will continue to be my favorite KOA!!!!!!

We have stayed here many times and usually love it however the people in the site next to us ruined our stay. Up yelling at their kids at 6am, parting/drinking until after midnight and their pets were barking and using the site as a toilet. Few other sites around being loud way after quiet hours and no KOA staff in sight to correct.

The staff was very friendly and the store was really nice. We had a nice spot surrounded around a lot of trees.

Campground is very nice. We loved our wooded site. We had storms which took out 2 trees and a power pole on the entry road. That meant no power and no water for 24 hours, and sometimes no access in and out of the campground. The staff dealt with the situation as best they could and did a wonderful job of communicating with the campers and keeping us informed of the situation.

Manager on top of things and bery helpful. We were anle to Quickly move to a 50 amp from a 30amp. Nice park.

September 7-8. Thunderstorm came thru the campground at 7:00 PM. Knocked out electric power. No electric and no water all night. No internet. No TV. I realize this was an act of nature but how about some communication from the KOA staff regarding the restoration of power ! Terrible night in very hot, humid conditions. We want a refund. To many long term people there. The big rig section in the back is fir work campers. Hard to get large rigs parked in the section we were in. The flowers beds between sites look terrible. Wood all torn up park needs a lot of TLC and didn’t look like it getting any. Will not come back to this KOA

There was a lot of trash along the park roads and some of it had obviously been there for a while. LOTS of goose poop along pet walk areas. Staff was friendly and helpful especially the after hours staff who helped with an electrical issue.

We loved the very private, wooded sites. We had a wasp nest in our pedestal, and my husband was stung when hooking up the electric. Maintenance responded quickly and sprayed the wasps and nest. The a/c in the laundry room was not operational. This would probably have not been an issue, had it not been 90+ degrees. Even though we had a few problems, customer service was very responsive.

Another great stay here! Staff is wonderful (thanks Tiffany)! Sites are a little tricky to back into but lots of shade and space between sites! Overall clean , safe and well maintained. We will be back next season!

This was our first time staying at Newburgh KOA. We had a wonderful time. Grounds and public facilities were kept neat and clean. The staff was very friendly and the organized activities were great for the kids. Highly recommend. We will be visiting again.

We have stayed at this park several times and always had a great experience. We learned that the park is under new management and were surprised / disappointed to hear that several activities had been discontinued (bingo, paint & sip, etc.). Water pressure was also an issue each morning. We will try the park again, next year, however, if this trend continues, we will most likely camp elsewhere.

Excellent campground. I hate amenity fees. Give the customer the option if he wants to use your amenities. Band should have ended by 9PM, in my humble opinion. The Burrells from Bogart Georgia GOOO DAWGS ���� ����������

The staff is outstanding, and the park is VERY well maintained. However, Spaces are tight for Big Rigs with TOADS (40 Ft Diesel Pusher, towing a Jeep) We were able to make it in and out by using a pull-thru site but it was at the absolute limit of our turning radius. For full-time RVers, $80.00 is a little much for a one-night stay.

Our site was tight and it looked like a parking lot. Never had been to a kOA with sites like that not even for tents! We asked if we could have another site and we’re told flat out no they were full. Sites are signed on a first come basis unless you pay he additional $10 for a specific site, however, we arrived around 2 pm with plenty of sites still available. Dog park tiny.

Nice staff. True camping experience, pool was clean and spacious. Wi-Fi was surprisingly good! Which was a relief since our Starlink couldn't get past the trees. I was a little disappointed that one laundry room was closed and the other one, further away, had two machines out of order.

we booked our stay for June, July, and August, coming up on weekends. Sites are always clean, employees very friendly and helpful, delivering wood as needed. also made some nice friends who walk by to chat.

Fantastic KOA, with well sized sites in the woods. Checked in right before closing and the staff was friendly and helpful. Site was well maintained. Very happy to have a smooth and easy stay at the end of a 2 week road trip. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Bathrooms could use an update, but were definitely serviceable .

This was our first visit to a KOA and will not be our last to this one in particular. We spent a week with another camping couple and had an awesome time. The staff were friendly and attentive. When we arrived we were missing a picnic table. I called the office and figured by the time we set up, which takes us 3 hours min, we are tent glampers so we have a lot of stuff, they would be by. To our surprise they came immediately. It seems the previous campers had moved it to another site. Two young men moved it back, apologized and left. They come by every evening to pick up the trash. The dumpster on the map had been removed. The office staff were always helpful. Now for the "wildlife" There were two extremely large owls who loved to swoop down and startle us. We had a skunk visit us the one night my dear husband didn't put the trash out. The Fox's began crying out in the middle of the night, we didn't know what it was so our friends called the office and a night lady asked them to hold the phone so she could hear it and advised what it was. In the middle of the night, they answer the phone!!!! We had a bird fly into the tent one afternoon but the most annoying flying things were the mosquitoes, they were vicious, they ate me up to the point it was very uncomfortable. We loved the location and the campgrounds and are planning another trip in late May or early June, hopefully before the mosquitoes come comping. The other campers were friendly and respectful. The section we were in had a lot of trees but not so many you can't enjoy the sun. A really nice relaxing experience. Will be back.

We were here Columbus weekend 2020 and we coming back again. What a great campground. Our first time here for Columbus Weekend 2020 and we all had a blast. Kids had also a good time. Halloween theme weekend was good as it gets during these times of Covid19. Lots to do in the area wine tasting or hiking and biking. Place was clean and staff were really nice. We sure are coming back. it was nice listing to the music on weekends with band and dj. 2023- great as always love coming here
