Unfortunately water pressure was bad as usual have stayed 3 times this season one more trip planed. Roads still need more work. Leaves between sites continues to grow in my opinion if a fire ever starts it will be unable to be contained. Have stayed at this campground since it was under the original owners, seems to get worse as the years pass. But still a good place to stay ‘B’

This campground is secluded and beautiful. It was also very quiet. Only a couple things that made me give this 3 stars. One was the sewer hook is not level with the ground. They sit up on a concrete pad, so it was just a little hard to dump. The only other thing was the water. We didn't have enough pressure for our shower head to even work. It also had a very strong unpleasant odor.

we had a beautiful private back in site which was a plus but the negatives were the Bounce Pillow was out of order while we were there and the bathrooms were filthy and need to be cleaned more often.

Very nice camp ground #99 we really enjoyed the privacy at this site. Besides the weather my wife and I had a great time. We greatly appreciate the swimming pools (the pools are one reason why we love your KOA) Very nice store as well with everything we needed. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Mosquitos were almost unbearable and very low water pressure at site 139. Other than those two drawbacks it is a nice park.

The staff is very friendly. There was a slight mixup with their reservation system but the manager able to accommodate everyone effected. The site that we stayed in was spacious. There are a lot of geese on the property.

I had to stop in because of an emergency with my truck. The transmission failed except one gear. This KOA was the nearest campsite to park my fifth wheel during repairs. They were nice and accommodated me. The first site was too tight to back in my 42 foot fifth wheel so they set me up with another site and stayed with me in the pouring rain until I was in the site. The staff is very helpful.

We stop at the Newburgh NY KOA after driving 4 hours from our home in Rhode Island on our way to a NY campground in the Catskills. Driving directly has taken 6-7 hours, with traffic, and was becoming too much at our ages. Your KOA provides a welcome "rest-over-night" stop on the way up and back home about a week later. In fact, my wife likes your KOA so much we stayed an extra night going home.

The staff at the Campground is excellent, I would especially like to recognize the general manager, Nicole. She went above and beyond to help us after our truck was in an accident that left us stranded for over 3 months. Finding ways to allow us to stay in one spot without us having to pay someone to move us from site to site. Carol is very dedicated in her role as activity director!

No good place to let the fur babies off leash. A dog park would be a nice added feature. Take a look at Brewhounds in Neptune Beach, FL for ideas.

First assigned site was so slanted it was impossible to get the trailer level and extremely difficult to back in to. The staff moved us to a different site that was more level but the picnic table had a basketball sized hole burned in to it. A skunk lives at the site, not great with dogs. Bathrooms were gross. Laundry room and machines were gross. Overall very rundown and not maintained.

The campground is very nice and has great amenities. We enjoyed the two pools. The store has great offerings. My one complaint is that the the bathrooms were very dirty. It was evident that the floor had not been swept or washed in several days. The bathroom stalls and sink area were not clean in both the men’s and women’s washrooms. Attention to those areas are required.

Unfortunately, we did not get what was advertised on the website. While there are some big beautiful sites, the 50 amp we paid extra for was tiny (site 52). The firepit was made of broken bricks that sat right at the base of our steps making it unusable. There was a strong sewer smell, no rock wall, no fire truck rides, and tiny mini-golf w/ foam golf balls. The pools and free pancakes were nice.

It is a great place for camping with no doubt. However, there were so many mosquitoes. My whole family got mosquito bites everywhere. Please dopest control for campers.

Really like the sites they feel private and are spacious The staff is always friendly and helpful also. On the downside I am upset the cafe was closed down we always liked getting food by the pool and also ice cream as did a lot of other people. The playground is great for the kids but it needs to be remulched as it is covered in weeds that are prickly and sharp.

The actual facility is nice. Good amenities, pool looked nice, clean, etc. But, we were out in the very back set of spots - which is nothing but a parking lot - and our rig was simply too large for that area. I had to back out of the parking lot as the congestion of parked cars and rvs made it impossible to turn. We did fit in out spot, barely, but there was no maneuverability due to tight spac

The KOA is located in a wonderful location. The most negative -- the 2 bathrooms only have three stalls and they are not well maintained in comparison to the extreme level of use. The campground is located idea for young families....

Great location with a lot of amenities for our grandchildren. We booked a cabin and an RV site. The cabin was great; however, a lot of items were missing and even after several requests to the office they were not able to do the needful. This could be as the site was very full and the staff were stretched. They apologized for this during checkout. Hopefully, they can improve this in the future.

The staff was very nice, and there are 2 pools and activities for kids. However, this was much too crowded for our taste. We were in a section where 3 campers shared the same entrance/exit driveway, and just behind us were tent campers whose dog barked anytime we came out of the our door. Generally, I like to have morning coffee at the picnic table enjoying the early morning quiet, but could not.

This park is not big rig friendly. Trees were over all roads and the entire park needs its trees trimmed. We arrived in during a lot of rain at 1:44pm. Went to check in inside and front desk told me my site wasn't ready and they would let me know. My site was in fact ready but they wouldn't let me check in until 2:00.

The facilities (laundry, showers) are very old and dated. Some investment needs to be made in this neglected park. Our site FLOODED each time it rained. I’m talking water above our ankles. Sites on either side did not flood. And, no, moving after being all set up is not the solution. Fix the drainage in the area.

Easy check-in, clear directions to our site. Site was large and easy to get into. Camp store is well stocked. The staff were great about giving us a little extra time on checkout day when we needed to make a small repair to our vehicle - we only needed a short time but it was so nice to not stress about finishing the repair and being able to clean up and put things away properly before departure.

We were kept up all night by our camping neighbors. They came into our campsite and messed with our belongings. Quiet hours are not enforced. Campsites are filthy. We were kicked out of the storm center/arcade during a bad storm. Bathrooms were flooded by rowdy teenagers and never cleaned up. Left and went to a hotel.

The staff at Newburgh KOA were all friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure dealing with them. The camp store was impressive with plenty of items to choose from. Our only complaint was with the condition of the restrooms and showers. They were not very clean. We realize it may be due to staffing issues but we believe clean restrooms and showers should be top priority for all campgrounds.

We have been here before. But it appears that regular maintenance is not being done and things are deteriorating. The Jump pillow was not available most of our stay. The mini golf looks like it has been abandoned for years. There is only one good basketball, just to name a few disappointments. I reached out to customer service but still have not heard back.

This was our first visit to a KOA and will not be our last to this one in particular. We spent a week with another camping couple and had an awesome time. The staff were friendly and attentive. When we arrived we were missing a picnic table. I called the office and figured by the time we set up, which takes us 3 hours min, we are tent glampers so we have a lot of stuff, they would be by. To our surprise they came immediately. It seems the previous campers had moved it to another site. Two young men moved it back, apologized and left. They come by every evening to pick up the trash. The dumpster on the map had been removed. The office staff were always helpful. Now for the "wildlife" There were two extremely large owls who loved to swoop down and startle us. We had a skunk visit us the one night my dear husband didn't put the trash out. The Fox's began crying out in the middle of the night, we didn't know what it was so our friends called the office and a night lady asked them to hold the phone so she could hear it and advised what it was. In the middle of the night, they answer the phone!!!! We had a bird fly into the tent one afternoon but the most annoying flying things were the mosquitoes, they were vicious, they ate me up to the point it was very uncomfortable. We loved the location and the campgrounds and are planning another trip in late May or early June, hopefully before the mosquitoes come comping. The other campers were friendly and respectful. The section we were in had a lot of trees but not so many you can't enjoy the sun. A really nice relaxing experience. Will be back.

We were here Columbus weekend 2020 and we coming back again. What a great campground. Our first time here for Columbus Weekend 2020 and we all had a blast. Kids had also a good time. Halloween theme weekend was good as it gets during these times of Covid19. Lots to do in the area wine tasting or hiking and biking. Place was clean and staff were really nice. We sure are coming back. it was nice listing to the music on weekends with band and dj. 2023- great as always love coming here
