You guys are great! Stopped by on a holiday with reservations of course, and owner still came around checking to make sure anyone didn't need anything. Great little place on the way to anywhere you're going for a break in the drive!

Great place! Well cared for. Had to do laundry and the room was great. Clean and even had an iron and ironing board!

This KOA is a hidden gem! It's clean and well manicured with level sites and lots of nice surprises (go on a gnome hunt!). The staff is friendly and efficient and will bring a delicious, freshly cooked pizza right to your camper. Highly recommended for families, couples or retirees.

Great location, right off the interstate yet secluded. Staff do a great job of welcoming guests and activities planned throughout our stay.

We love this KOA. Our site was huge and so nice to have patio furniture and swing. Only negative is no cable. Otherwise perfection.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We understand campers' love of cable, but the cost to have it installed is astronomical. (We would be forced to raise our rates, making camping much less affordable for many of our guests.)

The staff was super helpful with getting us checked in and escorting us to our pull thru lot which was so nice and pretty level. They answered all our questions. we would definitely stay again.

We stayed here while traveling to our daughter's and liked it so much we stayed on the way back. The grounds are immaculate! The bathrooms are the cleanest bathrooms I've ever been in and all the sites have plenty of room.

We stayed one night , site #8 back in electric. This is a very clean and pretty campground. Someone takes pride in landscaping, so it was late March, there are whimsical lights strung out where you can see flowers will be blooming later in the season. We arrived late and where pleasantly surprised to find us being greeted and guided to our campsite. This was very much appreciated. Would recommend

We stopped over on the way from Pine Mountain to North Carolina. It was a nice halfway point quiet clean and very nice hosts.

Great little spot for a quick visit over a weekend. Very nice staff, friendly and welcoming!! Great people. The only issue we had was the reservation for the two sites a friend with another trailer and I had reserved were not honored. We reserved spots in the back and learned that those spots were given to other campers. The spots we had were nice but not what we wanted.

We're sorry that you didn't stay on the sites you had hoped for, but, unfortunately, we can't always honor guest requests. This is also why we don't charge a fee for requested sites, like many other campgrounds do. We never want to make a promise that we can't keep. Hope you'll still stay with us!

Everyone was very friendly. The bathrooms were very clean and nice. They had a gnome scavenger hunt which was fun too! Highly recommend!

We stopped overnight on our way to visit our daughter and absolutely loved the campground. The staff was extremely friendly and their hard work was evident throughout the park. We are hoping to stop on our way back through.

Great cg, great staff! Many things to do in the cg and we loved the k9 park! Site was level, shaded and good Wi-Fi. Only suggestion would be to pave the outdoor area at your camper door is located. Thanks we had an awesome time and bought a few items from the chain saw artist as well.

The families that run the Newberry KOA are some of the friendliest and most welcoming people you will ever meet. We always enjoy our visits. Restrooms and shower facilities are always very clean and have a pleasant scent. Grounds are nicely landscaped and decorated with lights at night. One fun activity is to search for Gnomes hidden throughout the campground. Our favorite KOA.

We enjoyed our overnight stay. Staff were very helpful. We were given a list of things to do in the area. The scavenger hunt for gnomes is a great idea. It gets RV neighbours talking to each other. I would definitely stay again. The only negative is the lack of cable but we used wifi to get movies etc.

Easy access from interstate. We were greeted as soon as we entered the park. The campground was beautiful with all kinds of activities scheduled too. We only stopped for the night, but wished we could have done more. Thank you. �

Trees are nice, but you need either over the air or cable for tv. Trees block Sat and little ota tv People are great and sites are very nice

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We would love to bring in cable; unfortunately, making that investment would mean that we would have to raise the rates to around 90/night. That's why we invested in our WiFi instead. All guests can (and do) stream at the same time with no issues. Next time, request a "satellite-friendly" site.

Nice smaller KOA less than a mile off US26. There's a BP gas station when you get off the exit. This is an old school campground like the ones I grew up with. Looks like a family run outfit, too, which is nice. I have to say the staff made our stay they were very friendly and a pleasure to talk with. What they lack in size, they make up with a family feel and they plan small events to keep the little ones occupied if you have kids, The store is very reasonably priced, unlike a lot of other KOAs we stayed at. They also offer a small menu, including pizza, which was also reasonably priced. As such, we ordered the wings small but very tasty. we also purchased 2 extra large sleeping shirts for the ladies and 1 buck naked short for me. Totaling under $70. Where other KOAs it would be at least double that price. Definitely would stop here again.

Nice, clean, and convenient just off I 26. Cool "Gnome" themed campground with level, pull through sites to accommodate a large motorcoach. Great for an overnight or short term.
