Our first time here and we loved it...the entire staff was incredible (special thanks Anita and JR). Great service, an excellent dog park, and a great location. The only negative was spotty cable service, but we danced around that as Ophelia was bearing down on the entire area. Added an extra day just because!!! And the bathroom near us was immaculate. New pool coming in '24....thanks to all.

Clean, open area campsites are their strong suit. It’s proximity to New Bern, NC as well as the Neuse River, sounds and shores of NC make it a virtual “base camp” for adventure while maintaining a place of solitude and relaxation for RV travelers and campers.

enjoyed the stay, the price however, may steer me away in the future. camping is a luxury and with the price of things these days, I may have to choose differently. certainly a different spot in the campground. Also, if camping, you should get a discount for family to come and stay in the cabins - allows more options for families

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed in. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The campground is so clean and well-maintained.

Always a pleasant stay at New Bern KOA. Easy to get to and the staff is super friendly. This is (in my opinion), the best KOA in North Carolina! I can't wait until we get an opportunity to come back.

We always have a great stay when we go to the KOA at New Bern, NC. The amenities are perfect for us. The sites are easy to pull in to. Ant the staff are all so willing to please. WiFi was great too, as well as cellular signal!

Facilities were immaculate. Showers were spotless. We had trouble with our RV steps on departure and I had to lie on my back on the hot asphalt to correct the problem. Mike (one of the staff) brought me something to lay on, loaned me his personal tools, and even brought me Gatorade! This is the kind of personal service and care that makes this a great place to stay. Thanks

One of the best KOAs we’ve been to. Well maintained, level sites, nice amenities for families including pool and playgrounds, waterfront with a dock, and exceptionally nice laundry room, plus friendly staff. Oh, and excellent WiFi. Highly recommend.

This was a Last minute add on and we didn’t have high expectations but we really liked it and loved the town & would return.

While we did not spend the two nights that we had booked; it was a mechanical problem with our camper - AC wouldn’t work that caused us to leave early, the KOA campground and the people were just amazing. This was our “shake down” trip for our new camper, and our first camper trip. They helped us get et up and “up & running”……, just a tremendous help. CHINO & EARL both deserve a p

We enjoyed our stay at the New Bern KOA.. Stunning location on the river. Bath houses were super clean and well placed in the campground. Lots of activities and super kid and dog friendly (of which I don't have either- but it looked like kids and animals enjoyed themselves). We will definitely be back. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

We had a wonderful stay. One concern we want to share is about the children riding e-bikes at high speed around the campground. These bikes can reach speeds up to or exceeding 20mph. Many of these kids are riding barefoot and helmetless. The chance of accident and/or injury is a worry. Perhaps, when it comes to e-bikes, KOA needs a rule similar to the one regarding who operates golf carts.

The staff was super and they had so many fun activities planned for the kids. Everything was easily accessible and I felt very comfortable there! The only downside was how dirty the bathrooms got at times. More frequent cleanings may would help! Other than that it was great, our entire family had a great time. We will definitely be back

This is a very nice campground with plenty of amenities. Good food and lots to see in New Bern. Very friendly staff. Very clean and well maintained. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The park was AMAZING. It was BEAUTIFUL. The sites were well spaced so you didn't feel as if you were on top of everyone. We will definitely be back!

Nice place. Beautiful site by the water (90). Only complaint is the cable TV. We kept losing signal at what seemed to be peak hours, when probably more people were trying to tune in. Right at prime time, etc. Had to switch back to our antenna and reprogram channels.

We had the best labor weekend at the New Bern KOA! The staff is phenomal and always make sure our kids have a blast. We are so lucky to have found this place. We will be back!

We have stayed at 3 different KOA so far. I believe this is my favorite. The parking spaces were ample and not crammed together. There was shade and great walks for adults and kids. Facilities were accessible. Plenty for kids to do (though we didn’t need). Communication with office was good. And the area of New Bern is good to visit

The New Bern KOA staff were VERY FRIENDLY and when we opted to move to our next stop a day early to get out of the path of the Idalia they refunded that night's stay which I totally didn't expect! The view of the river is very nice and our site had a great patio but I will ask to not be on the end by the road next visit! We will definitely return again!

They offer RV dump station for a fee! Very clean and accommodating. Beautiful and situated in the Neuse River. They have both RV sites and cabins

My family and I had the most amazing time at this KOA in New Bern! The staff were all so friendly, helpful, and ALL truly Amazing. The Saturday before we left they had a bunch of activities for the kids! They have a play ground with a jump pad. They have a big laundry room, four washers and four dryers. They have WiFi, and trash pickup. We stayed at one of the pull through sites with a patio and the view was so beautiful. The grill was so nice to use and the landscaping was kept nice! You can fish and rent canoes to use at the river. We had a amazing time fishing!! We really hated to leave, but can't wait to come back!!!
