We had a deluxe patio spot. Friendly staff, super laundry and showers/restrooms! Very clean! Great location, easy access. We have our favorite KOA's, this is the only reason for the 9 and 4 rating. This was a great campground with a lot of pride in the facilities and grounds

When I questioned the reservation site that we were assigned upon arrival, I was upgraded to an incredible site that was beyond my expectation. This was offered to us even though it was MY error in assuming they had assigned the wrong site!!! I can not say enough for the gracious way this was handled. I cannot apologize enough for my mistake in thinking we had been given the wrong site.

KOA has improved the sites by making beautiful premium pull thru sites equipped with a grill, fire pit, and outdoor furniture. Premium sites are concrete. Would definitely stay again. Easy in and easy out. Right off of I81.

Really wonderful campground. Clean, well lit, great bathhouse, friendly people. We were just in for one night en route back to South Florida but we will definitely stop again when we head north. Thanks for a great experience. ~Heather & David

They should state that this is not an accessible campground. The steep sites are hard to negotiate. No ramps going into the office. Do not understand their reasons for not assigning sites until arrival. They know the requirements and camper size when registering. There were no activities for campers. When we camped in 2018 and 2019 there were ice cream socials and Bingo. We do like the decks

It has been 20 plus years since we have been here. Very impressed with the grounds, the cleanliness of bathhouse and areas. Definitely be back!!

Our space was so un-level it should not have been rented. Note only were we unable to level our small RV, we were not even able to put out chairs or use the fire pit because the site was so uneven & hilly. I slipped on the gravelly hill. The neighbors extended awning was only about 3 feet from the side of our RV. Bathrooms and showers were down a steep hill that was slippery from the rain.

Very friendly staff, beautiful, well kept bathrooms and showers. The entire staff were helpful and efficient in a fairly fast paced, high turnover campground(due to proximity to the interstate). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We only stayed one night but we will be back for sure. New pads big enough for 45’ coach are great, easy in and out plus nicely furnished plus gas grill. We didn’t have to pull out any of our gear.

Very nice people and the lower part of the campground is really nice. Looks like they are building more on the back side of the property. Will definitely stay again and it was a very quiet and nice stay. Very peaceful.

Stayed on site 90. Loved it. Had a great time exploring the area. Glad to see the park is adding more great sites. Looking forward to stopping here on our way home from Florida in April.

This was our second visit; our first visit was just an overnight stay. This time we stayed for several nights so we could sightsee and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area. As with our first visit the staff was just amazing, the campground is beautiful and so nicely maintained. KUDOS all around...we'll be back!

We only stayed an overnight. We had a backin site on the new upper section site 96. It was absolutely beautiful and we look forward to what it will be when all of that is complete. Thanks for helping us get in for an overnight stay, as we were traveling home.

Just over night, this was one of the cleanest KOA that I have stayed at. Friendly staff and I used both bathrooms and they were clean and up to date. The game room was clean as well. Will use this KOA again next year when we travel to NC from Ohio.

This was a very nice KOA campground. Our pull through site was well appointed and the site was a good size. The grounds were well maintained and the setting shielded from the nearby highway. Definitely a great place to stay longer than one night.

We LOVED IT! We’ve traveled to 49 states and it rates #1 for us! Terraced, level, pull thru, quiet, full of trees and hood space, built in porch for everyone. Clean laundry and nice showers! Congrats! It rocks!

Scenery is beautiful. However, site assignments for big rigs over 40 ft should not be given sites w trees hanging over the site nor should they give sites that are uneven and keep rigs from getting level. Such as site 74.

We stayed in a primitive cabin while there to visit the safari park on a quick guys getaway . Cabin was great and very clean. They had a decent game room and the staff was really nice. They must be doing a lot of grounds renovations because they had a lot of the grounds areas torn up. Some buildings as you drive in looked a bit run down. Not the best first impression which is why the 4 stars. Overall a decent campground and affordable.

Just a nice quiet well-run KOA with friendly & helpful staff. Conveniently located off the highway, yet far enough away that you do not hear highway traffic. Yes, the natural terrain is hilly, but all the campsites I saw were pretty level. The hilly terrain enhances water run-off, so the sites dry quickly, and there were no annoying mud pits. Easy check in, great camp store, and a wonderfully picturesque full-service campground close to nearby attractions like Natural Bridge State Park, the Safari, and City of Lexington. We were so fortunate to be at Natural Bridge / Lexington KOA when we developed a power issue in our 5th wheel camper. This KOA has personnel who are knowledgeable in RV equipment and were able to replace a defective voltage regulator. That's a service that could take days to even schedule, but with the personnel at this KOA we were able to repair in 24 hours. Chris really helped us out, did an unbelievable job, and we could not be more grateful.
