Long Hunter State Park is just 20 minutes from the Campground and is a great place for outdoor fun for the whole family! This beautiful State park has a beautiful lake and pier that you can fish in. They also offer canoeing, walking trails, and is a great spot for a family picnic.

There are several state parks around the Lebanon, Mount Juliet, and Nashville areas, with walking trails, but if you want a true hike, head about 45 minutes east! There are gorgeous, scenic hikes with waterfalls, caves to explore, and mountain views! Several trails have an awesome swimming hole by the waterfall so you can cool off after your hike! Pack a lunch and head outside to one of these awesome trails! A staff favorite is Virgin Falls! This is a day hike, but the caves, waterfalls, and views at the end are worth it!
Bledsoe Creek State Park offers more than six miles of scenic walking trails. The trails meander through the forest and along the lakeshore of the park. One mile of these trails is paved making it accessible to persons with disabilities. The trails are open year round. Bledsoe Creek also offers a boat launch ramp for the general public, fishing at Old Hickory Lake, picnic facilities (the largest able to accommodate up to 150 people) and park programs which provide entertainment for all ages and change annually.
