They have an excellent staff and were more than helpful. The space we occupied was beautiful, peaceful, quiet, and spacious. We are looking forward to a return visit that will give us more time to fish, relax and take in more of the surrounding area. We're returning soon.

Enjoyed 5 wonderful days of Labor Day Holiday watching the river flow by sitting under the awning in the cool mountain breeze! Clean well maintained facilities! Can’t wait until our next visit!!!!

I cannot speak highly enough of this KOA. The very best people I have ever encountered- friendly, kind, helpful and as hard working as they come. The location is as perfect as you can get. Close to downtown Murphy and Andrews. The grounds are meticulously maintained. The pool is sparkling clear. Bathrooms very clean. Best part is Kat and Matt and their hospitality. Thanks for a great vacation

Our vacation in Peace Valley KOA was simply outstanding. The campground and all the facilities were clean and up to date. The honor system used by the office a great way to provide outstanding service to campers after the office was closed. Matt the owner and Kat support staff were outstanding. This is a wonderful place and we have already made a our reservation for next year. Love it, thanks.

We went to Murphy to visit my brother. This campground is a little peace of heaven! We enjoyed everything about it. The river flowing around the grounds is peaceful and clean. My husband spent some time speaking with the owner, I had the pleasure as well. Just a very nice hard workin man. We also had the pleasure of meeting Kat from the office. They WORK! Beautiful peaceful place! 10 stars!

Beautiful quiet setting. Very clean and neat. The owner was always present keeping the grounds perfect. The pool was great too. I wish we had brought our dog as all guests and their dogs followed good behavior. I was impressed with the large size of the fenced dog field. All this but especially I want to mention how personable and helpful the host was. She was always available with a smile.

We lived in this area for 20 years and had friends use this CG in the past. This was our first visit but we will be back. It is a quiet, clean and charming spot on the Valley River. We needed to conduct business in Murphy and to meet friends for whitewater paddling on nearby rivers. Our spot was perfect for us.

We were greeted by the friendly host as we drove into the park. The whole park was immaculately kept!! Our site on the river was just what we were hoping for on our anniversary weekend. Very peaceful and relaxing stay. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back!!!

One of the nicest KOA that we stayed at. The site was setup nicely with plenty of room for the RV slide out and canopy. The site manager, she was pleasant, friendly and asked several times if we needed anything to make our stay enjoyable. I couldn’t ask for more from this KOA site. Highly recommended to all.

Just like staying on a top rated golf course! It is that nice, and on the river! Spacious sites, cable TV, well maintained, and a reasonable price. It doesn't get any better than that! We will stay here again next time we are in the area.

Matt and Catherine are amazing. My husband and I always find time to go to Peace Valley Murphy KOA. I would recommend this park to everyone, however, it is a small and quaint place and I really want to keep it all to myself! It is always clean and everything always works. We've never had problems and there is nothing more relaxing than watching the creek!

Very nice small campground. We did get on the wrong road when we arrived. I know this doesn’t happen often, but maybe put up a sign pointing left and saying “KOA Entrance” or, “All RVs Arriving”. Staff was very friendly and very helpful to get us out of a bind. Hope we can come back when we have more time.

Nice campsite and nice campground overall. Bathrooms need attention; they’re clean enough but the commode in the mens room rocks and rolls. It needs to be secured to the floor. Also the countertop is worn and the sinks need caulking. The shower is so-so. My wife reported that the ladies room is also in need of upgrade. We thought for $90 a night the bathroom facilities were sub par.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks for noticing and for the heads up. Normal mid-summer maintenance completed on daily use campground bath house. At $90/nt not only would our bath house be renovated, wed retire. (at least take a day off). But at only $45/nt it takes a little longer

This was our first visit to the Peace Valley KOA. The campground is clean and beautiful. The staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Nice surprise in a time when customer service seems to have disappeared. There is a lot to do in the area and we will definitely be back. An added bonus is how nice it is for campers with pets.

As soon as we pulled in, a young lady came out to greet us. She could tell I was confused as to which door to enter to register. She was attentive, friendly, very personable, and made sure our stay was good and we had everything we needed. The campground is great with the river flowing behind and well maintained. We would recommend this campground to our friends.

Both girls were fabulous and willing to get whatever we needed. The campground and areas were super clean and quiet. One of the best KOAs we have visited. Highly Recommend!

This was our third time visiting this KOA. It is beautiful, peaceful, and run very nicely. Matt the owner puts his heart and soul into this beautiful property. Cat is beyond wonderful and wears all of her hats with a friendly and fun attitude. We will be back for sure.

We love going to Murphy/peace. Dee is the best. She is definitely part of our family now. If you want a peaceful and relaxing trip, this is it. We love coming up and going downtown to check out the shops and antique stores. Float down the river or just lay by the pool.

Nice cabin on the water with plenty of room for me, my brother and dog. Pet friendly and easy to find. Nice kitchen with everything you need for a couple of days or longer. Unfortunately the cabin is crammed in between another cabin and an RV site so zero privacy. RV campers next to us leaned their bicycles up against our cabin, ran their motorcycles in the evening and morning in front of the cabin. Total disregard for people next to them. Campfire right next to our window and talking throughout the night loud enough to be heard in the bedroom. It's a shame you can't fix discourteous. KOA staff was amazing and friendly though and the laundry area was clean and the washer and dryer worked well.
