Beautiful campground. Very clean restrooms and showers (plenty of hot water!). The staff is super nice. We enjoyed talking to Patty and Doug.. Great little store with everything you could ever need. And their coffee machine is fantastic! If we ever come this way again, we will definitely stay there again!

Had a great stay here! Was able to get a walk in rate for <$30 dollars for a tent campsite. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms/showers are private and clean. Would recommend this KOA!

The experience of camping includes campfires. We were very disappointed that wood fires were not allowed, unless of course we paid for your small amount of wood that was priced too high.

We contacted the night manager to have another campsite turn off their outside music during quiet hours (a clearly-stated campground rule). He was very defensive/argumentative and ultimately the music was turned down, but not off. This combined with the $56/night charge for a tent site means we will likely not be staying at KOAs in the future. See my 1-star google review (9/3/23) for more details.

We had a very pleasant stay. The only thing my original reservation was cancelled because I came a day late and the staff had to prevent together something. I didn't like having to move campsites.

We did a tent camping weekend and absolutely had a wonderful time. The employees were friendly and helpful. The public areas were clean and enjoyable. The pancake breakfast was delicious. Between swimming and pong and our campsite it was the best 1st time camping experience for my granddaughters.

You guys have a great and helpful staff. They were extremely polite, accommodating to my every request and kept me welcome with their warm personalities. Coming from the Bay Area to travel to your location was well worth the 4hr trip. Your staff takes great pride in keeping up with the grounds and it shows! Thank you for having me and enjoyed every minute.

Very clean and great staff! I have stayed at many KOA facilities over the years and the Shingletown KOA has always been my favorite. I will continue to visit the Shingletown KOA for many years to come.

The facility was great very clean and the campgrounds were wonderful the only problem we had was where it's located and the neighboring dogs in the middle of the night barking all night keeping you awake there is a fence line along the KOA and there are dogs that bark all threw the night the woke us up at 1:00am and was right next to are tent scared us we had to drive 10 hr next day not good

Even though it was really hot during our stay we had a blast. The pancake breakfast, ice cream social, the kids water slide, the Tiki Days and the various other fun things that the owners put on made it worthwhile to go. there was no extra charge for any of them. The news that they are going to replace the pool with a much larger one would be great. As always the campground was very clean.

Above and beyond! The Tiki weekend was amazing from the snow cones to the tie dye shirt fun. The giant water slide was a hit with “kids” of all ages. We love our time at your park. Definitely be back! ��������������������

We really enjoyed our stay. Our children liked all the activities available (volleyball, the pool, ping pong). The campground was very clean and staff was friendly.

Great overnight stay at a tent campsite and including WiFi such that I could also get a little work done! A lovely and tidy campground under tall trees. Clean restrooms and friendly staff made it a comfortable and pleasant stay. Nice walking trails as well as a small swimming pool to cool off in. I would recommend and stay again :-)

The bathrooms were nice and clean. The water was refreshing. The gift shop attendants were wonderful. Great coffee too. The road was a bit dusty though.

Very clean campground with lots of fun things for kids. Many amenities at the campground and very close to the beautiful Mt Lassen. My daughter especially liked the horse shoes, Friday night movie night with snow cones and Saturday Morning pancake breakfast! We will be back again and again!

We had the best time camping with our boys! We just got back from camping at Casini Ranch and didn’t realize we had a place with almost the same amenities right here in our area. I cannot believe we live 40 minutes away and didn’t realize that you had this gem here this whole time!! Every staff member was beyond amazing. Probably the best service we’ve EVER had anywhere. Excellent experience at the KOA! We had an awesome time celebrating the 4th of July with family and friends. I appreciated the extra effort the camp owners made to keep it festive. All campers loved the tie-dye activity, bubble foam machine, and dance party!

Kind, courteous, and helpful phone service. Staff member Gina went the extra mile to do a physical campsite site check for tree branch and height clearance. Activities and campground amenities worked out great for our group with kids. Play equipment was readily available and in good condition. Outdoor chess table as well. Clean restrooms and showers too !!!

WiFi was spotty. I’m sure that can be fixed. Bathrooms were spotless and the staff were friendly and helpful. The teens seemed to enjoy the pool and play area. All in all it was a good experience.

Our family had a fantastic time on our camping trip. There are so many amenities and things for the kids to do! The pancake breakfast, movie on the lawn, and complimentary coffee were such great treats! Best of all, the staff was wonderful--so welcoming, happy, and helpful. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time and everything was amazing. However, we would like to see the enforcement of quiet hours 10pm-7am in regards to people turning off their generators at night in RV's. We were in a tent and did not have the benefit of sleeping in a quiet space due to someone leaving their generator on all night.

WE STAYED OVER THE FALL FESTIVAL WEEKEND AND IT WAS A BLAST! THEY HAD SO MANY ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS AND THE ADULTS TOO. IT'S SUPER CLEAN AND THE STAFF IS AWESOME! WE WILL BE DEFINITLY STAYING THERE MORE OFTEN
