We enjoyed our stay here at Shingletown KOA! The location was perfect to explore Lassen National Park. Our two boys had plenty to do when we were back at the campsites. The campsites were spread out to give you enough room and privacy from the other campers. And to top it all off the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Campsites and facilities were always clean. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Location is convenient to visit Mt Lassen, Burney Falls, Subway Cave, Cinder Cone, Hat Creek and the Wild Horse Sanctuary

Have stayed many times visiting family and friends. Big spaces, shady trees, clean restrooms and ver4y friendly staff. One of the best WiFi's of any park and this allows for unlimited streaming for those with smart TVs. Only a few antenna TV stations, no cable, and satellite access is mostly non-existent. Could use more full hookup sites, but county codes prohibit adding any more sewer hookups.

Very clean camp ground. Amazing staff with great customer service. Love the complementary coffee station. Also our group loved that there are new owners compared to the previous owners…the previous owners made it very unwelcoming. So it was nice not to be harassed in the middle of the day & multiple times a day for stupid reasons. Can’t wait to come back next year!

We enjoyed the peaceful forest atmosphere at KOA Lassen , the friendly staff, the beauty of the tree stump carvings, and the convenience of a well stocked store. They have a book hutch to get a new book or leave one. Awesome place to rest, walk in the large property.

Been frequenting KOAs lately. This location is amazing. Great facilities and staff. Very pet friendly. Store is well equipped and decent hours. Wifi is solid outside of peak hours. Six miles to town for supplies. Will return and highly recommend.

Doug was great! Forgot our black hose and he let us borrow one and was so kind as to hook it up for us while we were out hiking the park. He takes great care in setting up the park outdoor games as well. Grounds are clean. Early mornings were quiet. One complaint, every time we went to the office (3 occasions) we had to wait for staff to return “from break”.

Sat. Night there were a lot of kids from one site running through the campground yelling and screaming playing tag from 7pm till after 9pm. Made it hard to enjoy our campfire. Other than that our stay was nice.

A very nice campground among large evergreens. Large sites, great WiFi, and the friendliest office staff. Less than 15 minutes from the NW entrance to Lassen NP.

Very clean and quiet. The new Wifi was FANTASTIC! I think all KOA's should be this good. Nice front desk folks. This is our 5th time visiting this KOA. We will be back for sure.

Our first time at SHINGLETOWN KOA. Love that you have an area for dogs, bike and walking trails with swings, volleyball and tether ball too. We had a fun weekend…We’ll be back!

We checked in with the facility ahead of time to make sure we could work remote for a couple of days. They were quite friendly and the wifi signal strength was strong and the speed was excellent. I don't normally choose a camp location for the wifi, but this location allowed me to coordinate a couple of meetings with an extended weekend. Also quite dog friendly, and our two pups enjoyed camp K9

Best KOA we’ve ever stayed at!!! Patti went above and beyond to accommodate us. The new wifi works perfect, no buffering at all. Our site was HUGE and we are 50 feet. Extra large dog park. We can’t wait to go back!

Hands-down, one of the best KOAs we have stayed at. The RV sites are private and roomy. The campus is very clean with a beautiful setting.

Nice park with trails and activities for adults and kids. Many sites are a bit tight for larger rvs to maneuver around the trees, and they could use an area for hooking and unhooking tow vehicles.

Stay was fine. When there is fire wood restrictions that should have been told to us when making the reservations. The other campgrounds around you did not have the firewood restrictions. The wood compressed sawdust we purchased was way expensive and rolled around more than it burned.

This is the third time we have stayed at the KOA in Shingletown. Once as a tent camper and now with a travel trailer. We love it. The place is clean. The people in the office/store are friendly. We are going to stay again. I would recommend the place bc it is quiet, beautiful. I love all the natural trees and the way the sites are cleaned up and the trees are maintained. Thank you.

our site was a pull thru but was short and not level. Roads were narrow and tight turns for those towing longer rv's. Although it was manageable, it was tight.

Of all of the KOA parks we've stayed at (30 +/-) this park was for sure a top five. Clean, and quiet (there is a busy road nearby, but no overly noisy) and pet friendly. My only gripe was the office / store hours not opening until 9 AM, but easy enough to work around.

WE STAYED OVER THE FALL FESTIVAL WEEKEND AND IT WAS A BLAST! THEY HAD SO MANY ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS AND THE ADULTS TOO. IT'S SUPER CLEAN AND THE STAFF IS AWESOME! WE WILL BE DEFINITLY STAYING THERE MORE OFTEN
