We rented a lovely cabin with a patio and a firepit for smores making. I brought three teenagers. We enjoyed the nature walk, tree swing and the kids liked the playground (even though they are too big, really). We had such a nice time that we're planning our next trip to the area. We also had a wonderful time in Mt Lassen National Park :)

From the Ice Cream Sundaes when we arrived on Sunday afternoon, to the comfortable cabins, to the many thoughtful and fun activities and amenities, we had so much fun!! We loved swimming in the pool, playing in the grassy area, swinging on the big tree swings, exploring the nature trails, and relaxing in our cabin! Everything was wonderful in every way! We will definitely be back!!

The cabin was awesome! Very comfortable and well designed, and the small swamp cooler was a much appreciated unexpected surprise!! Campground was clean and well maintained. We will be back!!!

We stayed in a cabin and it was so perfect! It was clean! We enjoyed barbequeing at camp on the grill and using the stove burner for heating food. That was nice not to have to use our camp stove! We enjoyed the pool, the waterslide that was there that weekend, and the Hawaaian hulu show! We also enjoyed the rootbeer float vendor station, and easy access to Lassen National park!

One of the best KOAs that I have stayed at. Kabin and bathrooms were very clean. People that worked at the office were courteous, friendly and helpful.

We come here every summer and rent a lodge. The facility is always very clean and kept up to date. There are plenty of things for the kids to do. Many years ago there were bikes to rent and take down the road course. I wish they would bring those back. Just a suggestion. Also, the pool was a tad cool maybe a pool heater. we love coming here and look forward to it every year. Staff is friendky.

Coffee is a big thing with us, and when they can't provide any it's a big deal to us. Office coffeemaker in office broken and no Kureg coffee pods available for our cabin. Only coffee available was a 15 minute drive away at a market. Then the microwave oven required a daily maintenance man to keep it operational (cabin #5). Otherwise all was good for our 5 day stay.

Even though there was a heatwave, the AC really helped mitigate the heat. The KOA grounds were beautiful and fun with a pool, a dog playground, and a fun trail we did at night! It’s adorable.

The camping site was well prepared for their guests, and a lot of great activities were also planned. The staff is very welcoming and ready to help you with any request we might have. We will keep coming!

The campground was beautiful. Only issues we had were when we went to use the pans to cook, they were greasy and I put eggs in a mixing bowl and it had red, leftover food on it. Also, there was a squirrel scratching in the wall. Despite all of this, we had an amazing stay!

Loved the propane grill at our cabin. Bathrooms were very clean. Only 15 minutes to Lassen national park. Perfect stay!

The cabin was $170. You can stay in a decent hotel for $130. So, an extra $40. The website said that it would come with bedding. The queen/double bed came with bedding, but the bunk bed had cases for $10 a piece for each bed. (HORRIBLE)! When the cabin says it would come with bedding it should come with bedding!!! Also, there were signs that said you could get all of these extra charges!!!

We stayed in the 3/2 cabin. It was PERFECT for our family if 10. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was genuinely happy to help and serve you. I highly recommend staying.

Nice cabin with patio area. Kids liked the pool and playground. Close to national park and subway cave. Kind staffers and convenient camp store. Wish there was a dishwasher like the other KOA I stayed at but still enjoyed cooking inside and using the gas bbq.

We stayed in deluxe cabin 4 with our dog and four children. It was a perfect glamping experience. The kids from 19-4 had fun activities; ping pong, playground, sand volleyball, tether ball, basketball and a pool. The KOA had an obstacle course for the dog. The cat eyes scavenger hunt was fun for the 4 and 6 year olds. The staff was extra kind and attentive. We came last year, and we will be back.

Our family had an absolute blast! The activities for kids was awesome, with tons of amenities to keep them busy! The bathrooms were well kept and very clean. We will be coming back!

We call this place our home away from home. We have been staying here for 18 years. We did not meet the new owners, however Patti was very welcoming! We have known Doug for years and each time we stay he makes us feel welcomed and he is always glad to see us! Now that I (Kathleen) am retired we hope to see you again soon! God Bless, Kathleen

Nestled amidst the tall standing redwoods, this campground was a perfect weekend getaway. The front desk staff was super nice! Cabin was clean and conveniently located near the main office with easy access to a well maintained pool and play area. The store had the necessary essentials at reasonable prices and for anything more the store in Shingle town is not very far. Will stay again!

WE STAYED OVER THE FALL FESTIVAL WEEKEND AND IT WAS A BLAST! THEY HAD SO MANY ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS AND THE ADULTS TOO. IT'S SUPER CLEAN AND THE STAFF IS AWESOME! WE WILL BE DEFINITLY STAYING THERE MORE OFTEN
