Please join us on International Women's Day as we explore the power and accomplishments of women through film. We will screen two films on this evening. The first film will begin promptly at 5pm. We will then break to share a community vegan/vegetarian potluck around 6:40pm. The second film will begin at 7:30pm. You are welcome to attend just one film or both films.

An equal world is an enabled world.Individually, we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day, every day.We can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women's achievements.Collectively, each one of us can help create a gender equal world.Women's equality can't wait. It's going to take everyone to think and be inclusive - all the time, everywhere. So, let's all get ready to strike the #EachforEqual pose - and do everything we can to help forge women's equality worldwide.
International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.
International Women's Day (IWD) has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not country, group or organization specific.
