We purchased our first camper trailer and wanted to get a test run in before our vacation in May. Mt. Pleasant was the perfect destination! Had everything we needed to learn about our camper. People were very friendly and helpful!

Was supposed to be overnight on a long trip, wound up staying three nights due to sick babies and storms. Staff was super friendly and helpful, the campground was always clean and had everything we needed. The sites are level, and have plenty of room. 5 stars without a doubt. I can see us using this campground both as a stop on the road and a multiple day getaway. Pet and kid friendly. Thank you

this was a very clean koa and did not look a trailer park with mostly full timers with all their junk out like some of the koa we have stayed at.

We had to add an additional night to our stay and the employees were very accommodating. The campground was nice for walking. Campsite was good.

This is a very pleasant KOA. The current owners are doing their best to upgrade and bring this KOA back to life. Unlike many KOAs, this one has an excellent dog park. We’ve stayed here twice on our way to east Texas and leaving the area. Recommend it highly for an overnight, or two or three nights stay. Laundry, showers, and restrooms were VERY clean (although we’d did not need them).

I enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, friendly neighbors and welcoming and friendly staff. It is pet friendly and has a lovely pond setting to take a walk, walk the dog and get some exercise. It has a convenient location near I-30 and not far from downtown Mt Pleasant.

Great staff at checkin. Nice park. Spots are a little tight but fine for a night or two. We had a great cement pull thru. Will stay here again if near by again.

Everything was great at this KOA. Check in was easy and staff could not have been nicer. Filled both propane tanks, before being shown to our site. Perfectly level, hook ups easy, what more could you want? Maybe a huge dog park? Got it! A large area to walk your dog leashed around a pond and room to roam off pavement? Got it. Super stay

We had a great site, concrete pad, quiet, clean and friendly. Everyone was so accommodating. We were only supposed to stay for two days, but stayed for 8 days. Laundry room was very clean. I definitely recommend stopping by on your way thru

This is a small KOA in comparison to most other KOA’s but it has everything you need and the staff is extremely helpful. I got there ahead of major ice storm and asked for a spot with no trees which required a upgraded level. I left the coach there for a week with complete confidence that it was being watched and I would be notified if necessary to return while I was involved in family emergency

Men’s bathroom facilities and showers decent, but not nice/clean compared to other KOA’s I’ve visited. Could definitely use update. The back pond area was nice touch.

Very friendly folks. Only drawback is that the sites are so very close together. Makes you feel like you can reach out and touch your neighbor from your window. Otherwise, nice park.

I had been anticipating the April 2024 Total Solar Eclipse for almost 7 years. When I researched appropriate sites for the event, the owner of tis KOA was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. Over about a year of correspondence, she kept our 4 groups informed, and reassured that we were going to be near each other, and gave us some tips for the Block Party that the town was throwing for the occasion. They have some very nice spots for campers and RVs, nice facilities, and a pretty big doggie play area (Kamp K9!) It was so nice to be welcomed to the camp by the owner when my big party trickled into town. I hope to return for more adventures soon!

Spent the night in a Kozy Kabin. Convenient location, bathrooms close and clean, and quiet (no traffic noise)
