For the price you would think the place could afford gravel . We understand just had received lots of rain the week before but come on now .

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

All sites have gravel that the campers are parked on. The campground likes to keep as much grass as possible.

we were not at the campground that much for I was IN MUSC having surgery. I came out on Wed and we left on T hursday 12/21. I do not agree with you charging my son $18.00 and he stayed with me the whole time. On top of that I didn' t get any money back since the weather was so bad and we couldn't come tcome on Sunday afternoon due to the Nor'Easter that came thru.

Awesome Stay! It was during Christmas and the staff was still incredibly present, responsive and had lots of planned activities. We will definitely stay again.

The lakeside spaces were fabulous! There’s a big fenced in dog park but it’s way on the other side of most campers. They offered a lot of activities especially over the holiday. Unfortunately we were crammed in a slot between two nice patio sites and our site was tiny & there was little space for even the picnic table. The showers were dirty. The WiFi was almost nonexistent.

Our stay was just great. We had Wi-Fi and could use the tv and computers. I also thought the activities were nice.

Great campground. You couldn't ask for more helpful and friendly staff. This is one of the better campgrounds Iwe have stayed at from here to San Diego and we have camped all across the southern US. Love it here. Will I be back? You bet your sweet bippy!!!

We were in the Mount Pleasant KOA for close to a month. Staff is friendly and site is very clean . I would highly recommend.

We had an excellent site, 21, which was so convenient to the laundry. Friendly staff members, especially Craig, make us glad to return to this KOA. I especially appreciate how the crew was working hard to clean up the grounds following last weekend's storm.

A lot of traffic and accidents. But lots of shopping and plenty to do. The Campground was lovely, employees friendly and the facilities were great.

Nice campground, friendly staff. Only downside was the showers had no hot water. Turned hot water on and let it run for 5+ minutes- cold water. Got dressed and went to office. They directed me to a smaller shower house where the water was hot. All the showers should work at a campground especially when you consider the nightly charge here.

Great staff, clean and large pull thrus. Cellular reception was poor on all three providers, but the offered internet at each spot helped for work.

We stayed for 5 nights, the staff was pleasant, the grounds were well maintained. This KOA is only about 10 miles from downtown Charleston, and Patriots point is even closer. Breakfast was very good and they offer things to do even in the off season. Definitely a place to visit.

Pancake Breakfast on Sunday was really nice. Campground clean and especially loved the doggie area.

Very nicely decorated for Christmas Staff diligent with trash pick up. Clean & roomy sites. Sewer was uphill from hookups. Easier to just drive to dump station since we were only staying one night. Expensive.

Horrible site with tree roots all over sitting area. Moved to a new site still roots. See Trip Advisor for pictures. Assistant manager was not customer friendly. These horrible sites were over $95. We just left Florida on beach site with full hookup site for $60. This KAO is a joke! We will not stay again and will give a poor rating on our camper club site. Disappointing is understatement.

Always wonderful and well run. I am profoundly disappointed that you will be eliminating seasonal rates for next year. This will have a negative impact on our ability to maintain a months plus long visit next year. Very unfortunate.

Loved this campground. Spacious sites, wonderful employees. Lots to do. Would recommend that they ensure showers are cleaned.

A very nice location. We stayed overlooking the lake on an excellent deluxe lot. A gas fired BBQ was provided that worked perfectly. A bundle of wood was even provided with our stay. The 2 person swing overlooking the lake was a nice touch. We liked the text messages received each day with events & info. Well done!!

We booked two sites that online said it was full hookup. We our friends arrived before us, they were told it wasn’t full hookup. The. They were driving a tractor between our sites to haul dirt. The sites had so many roots there was nowhere to put the chairs.. They moved us spots but charged an extra $28/site. The assistant manager was extremely rude and told us not to ask for a discount.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

When the sites were reserved online, you both reserved water/electric only. We were able to accommodate the requests to be moved to full hook up sites, side by side, but there is difference in the water/electric only rate and the full hook up rate. Please review your email confirmation.

We had the most wonderful stay here, we stayed in site 71 which is an end unit with a lake view. It is improved with a patio, wonderful seating including glider chairs and a swing right on the water. They gave us a complimentary bundle of firewood with this site. It's very quiet here and is dark with not a lot of light pollution coming in through the shades. The pool was open but it was cool so we didn't use it. the walking path along the lake was pleasant and we saw lots of turtles and water birds. It is a gated park and felt very safe. We previously stayed at a different KOA on the other side of town and we're so glad we found this place. There is a fantastic dog park with two separate areas, one has access to the water, the fencing actually extends into the water for safe playing.

We really liked this KOA. Great location to check out Patriot Point, and they have a lot of things to do. They have a great trail to walk your BFF on and a beautiful lake. I wish the dog park had 2 separate doors to it so you don't have to let your dog in with other dogs. Many good things to do at this park! Enjoy!!

The staff at KOA Mount Pleasant truly enjoy what they do! It shows in how you are treated and the thoughtful things they do to ensure you enjoy your stay. We have stayed here many times over the last 15 years. The sites are spacious, clean and beautiful. The facilities are clean and well kept and fully stocked. Thanks for another enjoyable stay
